de'anjou Posted May 9, 2023 Hello fellow dao bums! I'm very glad I found this forum, the wealth of outlooks and knowledge ushered me to finally make an account. Thank you all for the contributions! 💕  I'm a student of Quareia and for the past year have become very interested in Chinese esotericism, even though I have barely scratched the surface, my research has been extremely enriching so far. I apologize if it's bothersome getting noob users like me who aren't particularly brought here through daoism itself. I hope to keep on learning and cause as little headache as possible.  For the time being I'm learning through books, including the ones by authors this forum warns against. Don't worry, I have a good head on my shoulders and a very discriminating nature. The same nature, unfortunately, that makes me wary of paying for or actually committing to a specific teacher/path. I'm looking around and making notes for the future, but I know it will be a long time before I'm actually properly guided into anything.
