Hey there,

I have been scanning the internet quite rigorously recently for enlightening material, and finding a lot of interesting words.

I ended up on this website and very quickly noticed the spiritual awareness of the user base, so I decided to join my first forum.

Currently where Im at, is the stage where I can blast out the theory, but "the simple things in life" don't yet excite me, occasionally I see the beauty but its very elusive as of yet. Im also sort of in an information overload phase.

Looking forward to being a part of the community,

Looking forward to being!

Hello pgreenjazz, and welcome to the forums!

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of the Lobby and take a look at the forum terms and rules http://thetaobums.co...um-terms-rules/ This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to five posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like.

A nice introduction - are you a jazz musician by any chance?

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

SC and the TTB team

Welcome to TTB pgreenjazz.

Musicians make great cultivators, there's that innate discipline it took to learn their instrument.

That's transferable.

Weird thing is that some top musician-cultivators are or were bass players.

Brad Warner ( Hardcore Zen author) for one example.

George Watson ( TM-related) is another.

:)
