  1. Human ghosts/spirits vs aliens/entities

Here is what I know, what I have been taught and what I have experienced. Aliens exist, that is life from other planets. Nearer to the epi centre of the 'big bang' life was created there and along the way of the expanding universes far before our earth was formed. Spirits exist they are energy without a body. They can be harmful and they can be inert. I once visited a museum and was attacked by a spirit that lived in an artifact. I was only young and an apprentice shaman so it got away with its attack. I have been attacked by many spirits, they are drawn to me by the blessings that were put on my body when I was baptized. So one can attract spirits by what one does. One can also build up 'energy' by what one does. For instance if one curses others a lot, does bad things to others, then 'dark matter' collects around that person/s. This is not a spirit. Most people do not suffer from spirit malady it is quite rare. One has to attract a spirit to make it want to bother you. Many things are states of mind/emotions/energy of the person and not the energy of a spirit. One knows when a spirit attacks you, one will feel the energy of the spirit starting to burn you up, it may also start talking to you as it makes you hurt. If you cannot get help from another spirit or Immortal it will extinguish your life.
  2. A lot of questions

Both these terms are completely misleading. Qi is passed on like a chain, like a chain of cells, they are neither post or pre heaven. The terms misleads and obscures a true understanding. All life is a link in this chain, the chain joins us all together, whatever life we are. The qi we have is all post settlement of the earth when the environment was right for life to form. The qi is post big bang. What we do with this and how we cultivate this afterwards is then another matter. The chain of qi is then passed on to another life by the chain of DNA. We do not acquire qi if we are part of the chain and all life is, we can only enhance what we have as part of that chain.

The One.......... I think I once explained what was taught to me by the Immortal Masters many years ago about the beginning of all things? Well if I didn't then here it is. At the very beginning, and this is the One, there came a small vibration within the darkness. Now if it is possible to imagine, something so thin, anti matter, so to speak, billions of years ago. The vibration is the One that Li Erh is describing. As this vibration became stronger over the millions of years, heat was produced. With heat came pressure. So its like blowing up a car inner tube, but the inner tube won't expand, put enough air in it and it will explode, bang! When the first vibration happened so Dao was created, for as soon as there was something from nothing and I mean nothing then the order of all things started. Anti matter became matter, a vast expansion and contraction. One might say where did all these elements that make up all that we know come from? Good question I say and a difficult one to get ones head around.
  4. The Taoist Conception of God

Well a very long post and I think some misconceptions. The Immortals in Heaven do not know of the beginning of all things, ie why there was a big bang that created all dimensions, form, sound and light. But they know that it happened many billions of years ago. The concept of ONE GOD who created all things is just nonsense and a human conception. There are literally hundreds of Gods and Goddesses in the Heavenly realm, some came into being at the very beginning of all things. Some are relatively young by comparison. At one time no one God controlled what happened in Heaven and what the Gods did, but eventually there came a time when wu wei needed to installed and not relied upon by each individual God to be ultimately wise. So a single God was chosen to make sure all others followed that wisdom. Yu whang Shan Ti was chosen and now any interference with the world must be passed by him. There was never one creator, all Gods are given life by the same forces that we are. Taoism has its roots deeply held in Shamanism, which is neither only philosophical or religious, it is both and should never be divided. In Taoism there is not a concept called God, but there is a concept of being able to be at one with the Tao and its creativity, leading to Immortality. The idea of God and Immortality are different ideas. Immortals are not 'omnipresent' they live in ultimate states, being able to resume form and then return to no form. They live not to serve the world, but are simply 'there', at one with the creation of all things unable to ever die. They hold no concepts of sin, good or bad, or any of the human concepts that we place on ourselves for various reasons. As we understand it 'God' does not exist in Taoism.
  5. Te Tao Ching...Theistic? A linguistic challenge...

Dao and God are completely two different things. There has been a huge misnoma about the idea of God. The word has been used to describe things that maybe the creator or maybe a person ascribed to have created the universes. All this is complete and utter nonsense. If god was a human he would be a she and she would have given birth to man not the other way round. The word Dao simply means 'way' or 'path'. It is made up of two characters; the shaman's head wearing deer antlers and the character to walk. So we have the word which means to walk in a wise and knowing way, to find one's path through the intracacies of life by wisdom and knowledge. This can be applied literally to all aspects of life. If one is talking about the spiritual side or path then this is called Dao Xin, for here lies the root of the spiritual path. The DDJ touches on all aspects of the Dao, this is why it can be misleading when one does not know the origin or understand what Dao actually means. God does not exists in Dao, Gods exist in Dao xin, for they are created by the 'universal life force' which is the creator of all things; call it the big bang. Once this came into existence the Dao and Dao xin came into existence. So were Gods created and Immortality for those who practiced the Dao Xin path. The 'universal life force' was the original force behind the big bang, no God or Dao.
  6. Five Important Themes of the DDJ

I shan't have access to a computer for a while so I thought I would add this to enhance the discussion. My understanding, as it was told to me by the Immortal Master, of the creation of the world etc. is as thus. One can't imagine the amount of time that has passed when all that existed was exactly nothing. There was no sound, no dimension, no light, completely nothing. Then for some reason within this there was a small vibration. Over the millions of years this vibration grew stronger and stronger. The vibration began to cause heat For another countless time this began to build, so pressure was created and the act of containment was immense. Finally, the pressure was so immense that it exploded (the big bang) All things came into being This explosion and its effect are still going and turning what was nothing into dimension at the very boundaries of the universes. At some point this initial explosion will run out of energy and the dimensionless etc. will move in back on the dimension-ed universes. But this will not happen for a long time. So we are talking about the Dao and the female principle....over to you folks.
  7. Taoist views on Buddhist way

Hello Anamatva, what one believes and what is actually true are completely different things. There lies some great debate, but what I have been told is that it is the Taoists, those that follow the path of nature and natural forces, rule and have been alive in spirit form for the longest of any Gods or Immortals present and that comparatively, Buddhism is a new religion by that standard. I am not being biased at all, considering that one of my main teachers is a Buddha. When one considers this fact, that the oldest Immortal was created when the very beginning of all things came into existence (the big bang). Now they are a Taoist by definition. Any other Gods pale into insignificance in comparison. This God lives in its spirit form in the galaxies wandering as the universes expand. I suppose at some stage when this expansion has stopped it will travel around all that has been created. Even the Immortals in the Heavenly void cannot contact it, it is so far away from us. Though they are capable of travelling unimaginable distances in seconds and could seek it out. Just some thoughts for you.
  8. [TTC Study] Chapter 25 of the Tao Teh Ching

Ok, on Lienshan's suggestion I will try and explain this chapter. Le Erh Xian Shi (Lao Tzu)came every night to me and he honored me with his teachings until the last chapter was done. This was a great honor to me, as the shaman in the Temple said that Lao Tzu never comes to anyone; it is unheard of. So I treasure this, beyond any price. In some sense I got the feeling that he altered the meaning in some areas for the modern world now. He taught me this some twenty four years ago. Whenever I read it, I think to myself what a brilliant rendition it is. Remember this is from the horses mouth, 600bc it was also slightly different and there appears to be no equivalent English words for some descriptions. Le Erh also told me that they had different meanings for some words then, compared to now. So we have: Something mysteriously formed, born before Heaven and Earth. In silence and from within the void. Alone and constant, ever present and flowing. It is the Mother of the Ten Thousand Things. I do not know its name, so I call it Dao. For lack of a better word I call it great. Being great it flows. It nourishes the Ten Thousand Things far and away. From whence it came I do not know. Therefore the Dao is great. Heaven is great. Earth is great. The Ten Thousand Things are great. These are the four great powers of the Universe, And one of them is the Ten Thousand Things. Man follows the Earth. Earth follows Heaven. Heaven follows the Dao. Dao is what is natural. To start the ball rolling as they say, to answer Lienshan's question: Humans are made from the five elements of the earth, they are bound by those elements and the Earths environment, so they must follow the way of the Earth. (of course when humans don't that's when things go wrong) Earth is made from the elements and energy from the universe or heaven so the earth follows the influences of the universe or heaven (today we realize that more than ever). The universe is bound by the Dao, so it must obey the laws that have created it (we are learning more about this also). The Dao is the great creator of all things, so it is itself and is natural. Remember, like the big bang we can't really know why and how things came into existence although it was explained to me. There lies another discussion!!
