  1. "The homeland of nothing whatsoever is the true abode" Does this essentially mean to dwell in emptiness, the void, the acausal, the place from which forms arise? And if so, and that place has no location, does that imply to search out the place where one can find nothing? As in, no trace of forms?
  2. I think cerebrospinal fluid is the amrita...don't know about yuan jing...there is a medical condition which causes overproduction of CSF, and it drains out near the soft palate. It is said to taste sweet, just like the amrita...
  3. What Results Do People Here Have From Training?

Remember when I used to have 'Servant of the Blue Pearl' written above my avatar? Well, not only have I seen the blue pearl during meditations, I saw them in the sky with a friend at White Sands, NM...the Blue Pearls are aliens! We are being sheparded by beings of light from other dimensions or space time realities....I've met others who have seen them too....a friend of mine saw dozens of them spinning in the sky, along with hundreds of people, along a highway in Nevada...
  4. There is no Duality

...although there is... What there most likely is is this: -The One, Holos, everything in existence, even if it is not yet manifested -The Two, the Yin/Yang, opposite poles, the ends of the extremes available in Nature -The Three, the Trinity...where opposities coincide and spiral into eachother, the mergence of the poles, like the Venn diagram where two separate realms collide into a third -The Four, the collusion and collision of Time, which is Space, where the Three have their play Not sure about dimensions beyond this yet... Comments/criticisms?
  5. There is no Duality

The present that can be known is not the present...nor is the past that can be known the past, and future too...although past/future only occur in the present, future and past are also occurring simultaneously at all times (quantum theory). All that has been done, is it written in stone? Are we all just interesting books that God has/is/will read/ing?
  6. There is no Duality

Birth, life, death; past, present, future...all things clearly only one (present), based on co-origination (past, yin) not knowable (The Tao), but shapeable (Yang)...I'm losing clarity...time to eat some food.
  7. There is no Duality

Past, present, future: body, mind, spirit ?
  8. There is no Duality

Yet it is still going on a journey! It will be free, truly free when it chooses, but also, when it gets off of the Ox, will it then mount a snake and take another journey? How many countless bodies have we ridden in our endless journey...I don't mind being caged so much myself anymore...
  9. There is no Duality

Sure there is! It can relax, and then become Shiva riding the Naga (Ox), and observe Samsara/Nirvana with half-lidded eyes
  10. The homeland of nothing whatsoever

One should be able to operate effectively from emptiness, going about ones business, remaining at the pivot of creation, buying sodas at 7-11s, without entering causality...riding the ox...
  11. There is no Duality

The Ouroboros, also is 3: Head, body, tail...which could be likened to Destroyer, Preserver, and void..the head eats, the body preserves, the tail 'voids?' That one might need some work lol
  12. There is no Duality

Then there is the Hindu trinity: Brahma (Creator, void), Vishnu (preserver, Yang), Shiva (Destroyer, Yin)
  13. Turning vegetarian - need advice

Hmmm...might still have been detox related...body takes 2-3 years to replace itself...I went a year or more once..i remember being peaceful as hell
  14. There is no Duality

Also, I think that the causal is the play of opposites, yinyang, and that the acausal is at the center...being the reflexive center, or seat of awareness, the pivot of creation...this is the 3rd...
  15. There is no Duality

Yin is one, Yang is two, YinYang is one or three depending how you see it...if they are perfectly balanced, they are one, if either is excessive, they are three...like the Venn diagram.. Another analogy is a teeter totter...polar ends with fulcrum..3 parts...also there is jing, chi, shen- body, mind, spirit...the trinity..if I knew more math, I might be able to tie in things like π, golden ratios, spirals..
  16. The homeland of nothing whatsoever

I think we should seek to go back into the state of being we had in the womb, which is that in which we did not know of self/other distinctions... It seems synonymous with 'settling the spirit in the original openness.' Anyways, the OP quote is from SotGF VIII, 2 Thomas Clearly trans...
  17. Turning vegetarian - need advice

How long did you go for?
  18. I fight never to be reborn in ignorance again...somehow or other. Perhaps this involves dealing with all my karma in this lifetime , escaping the wheel through paying back any misery I have caused....
  19. My theory on the 11:11 phenomenon

Its weird, my favorite time to go to bed is around 11, and its also my favorite time to wake up...while I like to 'go to bed' at 11, I usually don't fall asleep until around 1 or 2, and wake up once or twice during the night, averaging ~ 7-8 hours sleep...I'm a double Gemini (11:11), twin-souled, and schizophrenic....
  20. Nothing...non-existence has its own blisses, yet still, why not aim for the stars? Should I not go for the gold? Do you fear success? I don't fear not living, but I do fear entropy, in that my spirit wishes to keep clawing up and up the muddy slope, or die trying, because to become complacent is disenchanting to me...
  21. My theory on the 11:11 phenomenon

I did not look at OP or any replies, as I don't want anyone's theories to influence mine (this is how I often post! Its a neat way too!)....my theory: We look for synchronicity/signs because its fun and gives meaning to the world. We, subconsciously/unconsciously know/believe that this body we are, this conglomeration of illusory identities, will die. We like to feel that there is a mystical meaning behind every sign, something that indicates that we are 'on the right track,' being supported/chaparoned through life by higher beings, etc. Really what it is is that we hope that there is someone out there helping us, watching us, guiding us...this is true. Maya, God, Mara...these are masks that the All-Being wears to show us our true nature. Kali/Kundalini/Satan is the voice that hears our desires, inflames them within us when we are ready, and leads us 'astray,' where we truly wanted to be led in the first place. Not to where we think we wanted to go, where we really wanted to go...we will thrive if we follow our passions, we will wither if we try to deny our soul. So we unconsciously create for ourselves signs and symbols to lead us in our true path. So at 11:11 tonight/tommorrow set an alarm to alert you...and note what you are thinking/feeling at that time...keep an 11:11 journal from now on and look at the patterns. 11:11 is when twin souls merge, dualities become nondualities...watch yourself at this hour!
  22. sensory deprivation

Did you find it to be worthwhile in the beginning? What about towards the end?
  23. What Results Do People Here Have From Training?

Results: -learned much about the energy body, myofascial system, how to meditate, where to focus, yadda yadda....still a work in progress though...have a long way to go....I'll get back to you in 20 years...Edit: piss poor answer, will have to try harder..
  24. Its also possible that celibacy might need to be combined with others things, such as vegetarianism, or else certain foods may inflame certain passions through resonance with what you eat becoming part of yourself...Eat alot of beef, become bullish, eat alot of chicken, become peckish....I am going to experiment...I might even order a bunch of predator meats - cougar, alligator, etc...and eat only those meats for a while and see what happens to my persona, and have other people rate me.
