Books don't produce results, co-originated beings do. The books are mind objects. Buddha Mind is available to everyone at all times, books are not required. It is simple, in that others figured it out during a time when there was no writing. When someone writes something down, it does not indicate they are special. Empty mind can bring all things. Those who are desireless and empty, will experience all they need to. No books, culture clubs, leaders, gurus, teachers required. Empty vessels are the purest forms. Names, faces, traces of egos, ethics, morals, dogmas are of mind, and are nothing special.

Nothing needs to be done, ever. It is choice alone. Hindrances or obfuscations on the way are only termed that because ideals haven't been met. Anything is achievable, but nothing is truly higher or lower, except in dualistic thinking. In summary, nothing is broke, or everything is broke. It is based on your views. End your views, dwell in emptiness, and nothing needs be done.

I've had a few brief experiences when involuting and ending the permutations. It is mentioned in Patanjali's Sutras, Buddha's Sutras, etc. etc....not trying to prove anything. Ending the permutations is not as special as some think, though a difficult endeavor. Whether there be fabrications or not, the awareness experiencing the fluctuations is untouchable. When it ceases to identify with them, and follows itself to itself, the permutations cease....I can try to find specific passages, but I have experienced it for a few seconds here and there...

One can end ones own mind fabrications though, through sheer force of will, just not the mind fabrications of others....in which case, there will always be noise incoming, but through proper dispersal/dissociative techniques they become white noise, or just muteable energy

Is purpose synonymous with intent? I am lackadaisically 'napping' and seeing what arises from my half-assed couch philosopher self and wondering whether it be the intent of the being itself that makes its purpose, or the intent of the creator of the being which defines its purpose...this is tied in with causality of course. Is my purpose directly tied in with my root cause? Tired, dreamy minds want to know. I just cut a tree down with a chainsaw today and I am sad, but one can't stop progress, be it self or other directed....or can one rebel and throw off the chains imposed by ones creator?

Purpose is as purpose does. If I send out the thought form 'cha' as an extended vibratory signature, like in the series Dune, then the purpose is inherent in the intended message. If someone is sleeping however, and in the most deepest of non-mind fabricating states, the 'null intention' or ultimate non-doing, is their purpose self-created or other imposed?

There are also group needs, which motivate the individual - not wanting to be one who lags behind or creates a pull on the rest of the group as they climb the proverbial mountain, much of our impetus, while seemingly self-motivated, is actual a reflection of our perceptions of others judgments on our personas, and our perceived lack ion these regards. Hearing about the elucidated states others have achieved motivates us to 'keep up with the Joneses' in order to assuage our soft ego underbellies. The self/other dualities and comparison based models will continue to inflame our drives until that point in which we realize that we never have really moved, and that all our strivings are based on illusory form designations. At this point, the being retires in non-being, just Isness, where 'being' is seen as 'doing,' and True Being is based on Non-doing.

Of course, it could also be that the purpose of some beings is to experience purposelessness!

I guess it depends on how we originated. If we are created by another, that doesn't even necessarily imply that our creators whims for us needs must apply. If purpose is self-directed (i.e. self will), then it is as we say it is. At the same time, it is a view that is placed upon us. Those who dwell in the state of emptiness must by default have no purpose, because there is no one there to have a purpose. Purpose is 'self' limited, limited to the self alone. No-self beings just are, and cannot be limited to constructs which rely on future/past definitions, as future/past lies within the realm of the causal. Acausal is before cause. Purpose = the reason for which something is done or for which something exists. There are no 'things' in the acausal, only in the causal, so acausal beings, while still 'being' are without cause/purpose/definition/meaning.

The sugar thing is interesting. Swami Muktananda once said that the Kundalini likes sugar. Maybe the Kundalini is a fungus? Candida Albicans? Kundalini Albicans? LOL.....mushrooms are plant teachers that is for sure.....

I run into interesting dilemmas all the time like this one: have an old rotted log, which I think is an eyesore.....start to remove/dig it up, and there is an ant colony in there.....so, who is the asshole? I just tore into someone's else's house because I didn't like how it looked. It wasn't physically bothering me, but I certainly physically bothered them.
