  1. Chi into Shen

Chi will naturally transmute to Shen (in varying degrees) whenever one is immersed in stillness; this means inner peace and serenity, calmness, a clear, thoughtless mind. This should be a natural process but people aren't living in their natural states (the Tao) they live in the illusion of the ego, which constantly interrupts the process of chi-->shen conversion with its insatiable thoughts/desires and wastes chi (through incessant thoughtstream). Meditation of any form, to varying degree pending the depth of stillness and other circumstances, will facilitate the chi to shen process. Shen is the spiritual endgame, chi is a huge toolbox.
  2. Deja Vu

  3. Spiritual / Energetic "banishing" ?

Yes, they're out there.... But the good ones of the Light are too, call upon them for their help... they will help.
  4. It's very simple, it's like transmuting cotton into metal, on the level of your energy; that is bio-physical energy, a purely physical effect of standing meditation would be increased amount and density of muscle fibers, better circulation and respiration..
  5. The transformation from death to life

Great words; the same divine message that brought upon a holy inspiration and granted me salvation from a debilitating addiction not too long ago, but what seemed another life. Welcome to the forums; beware the wicked men here, though they do make the gems shine that much brighter.
  6. How Is Taoism/Buddhism a way of life?

It isn't a way of life, it is life. It is THE Way. Living without words......... the sage's smile is eternal. Because no words know the true Tao; to remain wordless, one begins to see the shimmer...
  7. Lao Tzu quotation

The Tao speaks in silence, yet says infinitely more than the accumulated history of all language. By living in silent-stillness, the sage lives with the Tao, becomes the Tao, and all the great mysteries are unraveled... and the great paradox turns unto One. non-dual; before it was something, it was nothing, but nothing is something.
  8. Dealing with fear and sorrow

Cultivated chi and shen spirit from Taoist energy practice will attract people with problems to you, they intuitively feel your positive energy in contrast to their negative and feel they can get something out of you, whether they subconsciously seek your help/spiritual guidance through simple conversation talking to you, or are energy/psychic vampires and sense your strong energy and want to sap it from you by attempting to arouse anger, hate, jealousy, sexual arousal, etc. Love is the answer to all, our greatest asset, our greatest weapon, though it is not really a weapon obviously in traditional context, but infinitely stronger than any such. The energy frequency of love is the energy frequency of the highest level in the universe, the Tao-God...live in that energy frequency level, and you will always be on the Path, the Way, always know what to do, with non-doing.
  9. What is the GOAL of your cultivation?

The sage carries no goal, to tread the path of the Way is the goal in itself; the goal is the path, but the path is not the goal, not the destination, and the path is now, in this very present moment, not the future. But for the sake of the thread, a conscious goal of my cultivation is to be One with the Tao, merge my spiritual consciousness away from the ego and back unto the realm of cosmic/universal consciousness. It's singular, people. You are One, you are All. The ego has deluded you into subject and object, greater and lesser, one into two.....
  10. its not a war on drugs its a war on personal freedom
  11. Who uses Netflix?

I love netflix; stream movies and shows on it all the time, I never knew there were spiritual programs available though, thanks for the tip! Nice 1111 post count btw! You are truly One!
  12. east asian thunder gods

Yes. Raiden is level 72 Mo Pai. Like John Chang, as per tradition of the Mo Pai level 71 to progress to the final level of 72, he meditate-fasted in cosmic vision trance (seeing everything in universal space time 3rd dimension simultaneously) atop Thunder Moon Mountain for 49 days, waiting for it to come..and finally, he was struck by lightning but redirected and harnessed its infinite power into his dan tian.
  13. mo pai

It is little known that the Mo Pai adepts are guardians of the gate of Heaven, (and they are often compared to Neo the "One" of the Matrix or the Jedi Knights of Star Wars). This Heaven I speak of is not of the same fictional realm that is misinterpreted by the predominance of religious folk, but a vibrational-energy-consciousness realm. it is a path only perpetually tread by those whom fully embrace the Godhead and defend the One truth of cosmic love. The true directives of the Mo Pai are unfathomable to those who have yet to be One. Mo Pai is yet one path to the top of the same mountain that many other paths lead; the ego deludes the observer, that is why one must constantly observe the observer in full stillness awareness..
  14. Laozi and the magic square

To know the Tao is to know One, all other numbers are shenanigans; this is the key to the gate of heaven.
  15. Lifting Weights

Only if one is calorie deficient. Strength/weight training to any degree short of Pro BB training will only HELP your energy; more jing is produced, more chi as a result; the benefits are countless. I think a hybrid of western and eastern - physical and internal exercise to be optimal for one's best health.
  16. the conclusion of it all is that "Master" has all the super secrets and you have to join his club or you're lost to the "Demon Kings". SOUNDS LIKE A CULT seriously, read through all of that painful self-pitying (empathic ethos rhetoric tactic to lure low self-esteem prospects) disguised as self-empowerment and tell me it isnt classic cult recruitment antics "we have been persecuted because of our super secret truths, join us as we know you are being persecuted too and you will be saved!"
  17. Tao 101 - If you could recommend only ONE book ...

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, a truly great book of Taoist nature for beginners of the path. And of course, the Tao Te Ching.
  18. I've always wondered about people with self-proclaimed titles such as 'guru' on internet forums... anyways glad you've joined us, looking forward to your discussions.
  19. Spoiler Alert!

Nice thread; we need more of these.
  20. Fallen Angels

The sage loves fairy tales of all nature; to fathom is fun, but to favor is to forfeit. Ask, why seek out conceptual, vowel-induced truth in these fairy tales? The Bible, religious canon, etc... The problem is seeking answers.... Find the One Original Question, and you will find the question is the answer... and it has been here, everywhere, all along.
  21. Inked...

Tattoos are manifestations of the ego, the anti-Tao, and they have the potential of sapping energy from you; it is inevitable, but for what length and to what degree is varied.
  22. I'm no longer afraid to die.

You're no longer afraid to die, but let me ask you this, would you die for a stranger? Don't lie. So, are you really afraid to die?
  23. Avoiding re-incarnation

You must be self-aware that you are a figment of your own imagination, that life is just a dream and there is no such thing as death.
  24. Trees..

I know that in Opening the Dragon Gate, Wang Liping's masters had him practice a type of meditation exercise that involved an energetic orbit between he and the tree. Trees definitely have strong energy, and they are good teachers.
