  1. 1. Yes but use it to your advantage 2. Irrelevant
  2. what is the source of this question deep down?
  3. Religion

These nihilistic claims that there is no right or wrong, that its just arbitrary, subjective perception and has no basis in reality... do you truly, from your heart, feel this is true? Consider this statement: "There are no universal truths." Now is that not a "universal truth" in and of itself? And consider "there is no right or wrong." would that statement not be "right"? Implying that there is a "right" opposed to "wrong"? If it were right, then contradiction rules, and also in being wrong, well... such is the wondrous double-edged sword that is paradox. The perception, or lack thereof, that for example, holocaustic rape is neither right nor wrong seems to be an exercise in self-delusion and self-depravity under the guise of a egoic spiritual pseudo-enlightenment. Ironic that some people, despite a complete lacking of deeper spiritual understanding, help allow society to be a somewhat safe and just world by not neglecting their humanity and morality for the sake of metaphysical righteousness, ego-inflation through the ruse of illusory spiritual transcendence bs humility. All or nothing for some people... sure ideally there is no judgement, no right or wrong.... but in this plane of reality, perhaps we have evolved to judge and perceive right or wrong, with wisdom and balance, or should we just allow thievery, murder and rape to flourish because we mustn't judge, mustn't recogize the sense of morality in our hearts, mustn't acknowledge right or wrong? Why so fervishly deny one's humanity?
  4. Be done with knowledge

"You must unlearn what you have learned." -Yoda Concepts, labels attributed value nurture the illusion of duality, ego and separation. The Tao knows no such things. Peace be with you all.
  5. Religion

    God has no religion.
  6. 'behind me' Moreso probably for the sake of convenience...instead of replacing every personal pronoun with "(behind) the-vessel that-my-spiritual-energy-consciousness-matrix-is-currently-occupying" Your problem is probably excess energy that needs to be channelled or exhausted. Do you ever perform significant exercise? Could be your solution.
  7. The urge to put people in their place

Non-interaction is the best action when it comes to those not on the path? Why the aversion? I smell the illusory shadow of fear. By following this, one is limiting his spiritual development, and only 'cultivating' social phobia and self-centeredness... we must seek to help others, not ignore them because we might become 'offended' or 'frustrated' with their 'ignorance'... ahhh you have fallen in the trap of the spiritual ego... We feverishly come to deny these human experiences in the name of enlightenment, ascension, humility... true humility is allowing one to feel the emotions, the desires, not let them build up on the bottom of your soul..not savor them and "owe no apologies", but to learn from the "ego", not shut it all down, play dead in the face of any confrontation, .. You must perceive ALL experience as opportunities for spiritual growth, ESPECIALLY interaction with "those not on the path." Can one really believe that the human race is best to all just go live and meditate in a cave all day? That this is the ultimate Destiny? Yet this is so many practitioners' ideal circumstances, environment! To strive for this "God-like" weird and horrible humility of non-experience. Many forget their Love in this spiritual plateau, toss it away like all their other 'silly' human tendencies, attachments... seek Godhood, yet don't know what it means to be a Man!? The time for the Ultimate Silence will come, emptiness, unity... but man is here for a reason now, in this new age of Love, this new era of new souls, the answer is not to run away to the mountains and live in total isolation, narcotically lost in meditation all day, with no one to worry for but yourself... or devoutly devoid oneself of sex and human interaction and natural desires and (or "dreams" if that is less pseudo-dogmatic)striving towards this ideal that YOU are not real, that your feelings don't matter, that you must ignore it all and stuff it all down, that you must become a drifting satellite patiently awaiting your hard-earned divine intervention. You betray yourself living this way, on this one dimension of 'illusory enlightenment'. No. You are the Divine. The ego is not the enemy, it is merely your best friend demon ally trying to teach you to ascend to heaven, to give you direction to the Light from the Darkness, heaven from hell; opposites attract! Subsequently the unity to whole non-duality. Yin and Yang the eternal principles teach us to live in BALANCE, not to be a cold comfortably numb monk all the time but to go out and be VULNERABLE and LIVE and LOVE and sing dance contribute help others on the path, true humility and dissolution of the negative ego means not neglecting yourself from the human experience just to spare yourself the natural emotions of experience. The energy becomes trapped stagnant in you and weighs you down! to live is not to shy away from pain but to see its true nature and welcome it as any other blessing on the Path, To become enlightened many think he must destroy this sense of self, so he never must endure these 'pains' of the ego and the unknown, and Love is always the first and greatest casualty of this misguided war. Having this dead-set goal to destroy this 'ego' thing is the real illusion, the real selfishness. The answer to seeking enlightenment is always ever changing, always within you, but often ends up to be the complete opposite Way you were previously convinced it was, then eternally changing for you until one finds himself perpetually living in the balance, in the Tao. but always within you! Other men can only point you to the moon. When man forgets himself, but doesnt discover the true Way of Love, this is the true Dark Night of the Soul! Rediscover your emotions! Be a human not a mindless pseudo-god and one day you will do something that is often the greatest fear of the ego, a main reason for many people doing this 'ego/personality-death' worship: You will spontaneously, for no apparent outside reason start crying, but you can feel it.. in the perfect balance of joy and sadness in total harmony, this is enlightenment, this is eternity. but only briefly... after, you will dive back into the unknown, continuing to enlighten the darkness of the ever expanding journey of the spirit, you will know there is always light at the end of the tunnel, have courage to face the darkness..not hide in mindless oblivion. Embrace the One Love. Embrace Your Self. Embrace Nothing and you will become Nothing, do you really want that? And so soon? Do you not want to see what you could truly become with all your blood, sweat, and god-forbid... tears? Oh and marblehead, I agree but digress! and your second part, I don't believe you! But in a good way! ^_-
  8. Accessing Higher Dimensions

And "who" is asking? Who is experiencing emptiness? The ultimate nature of "who".... emptiness. Words are insufficient. Pure "being" born of stillness, harmony, balance... to relate anything to emptiness is an exercise in contradiction; one pure breath shy of a paradox.
  9. I can't seem to find where it is stated documented fact that ayahuasca was directly responsible for his death, just that he died during the ceremony. Anyone? Yes... I can't imagine how else he would've died either, besides ayahuasca overdose... but I've never heard of such an instance occurring... if it were just an overdose of ayahuasca/toxicity poisoining, an enormous amount would be required to be fatal, which is baffling as the experienced shaman overseeing the ceremony should've properly administered a dose far from lethal...
  10. Pets are just for humans to be distracted from the fact that they themselves are pets (slave cattle) to extra-dimensional energy vampire beings, and originally just mutts to entertain us as we were the mutts to our ancient alien overlords who genetically engineered us from monkeys for their occult purposes, before they inexplicably abandoned us on this planet. We await your inevitable return and enslavement nephilim lords, December come will be very interesting indeed... our Qi is our only hope. May the Force be with you.
  11. Schizophreny

Hahahha...classic exchange ^ we spiritual humans may understand the nature of One consciousness underlying all spirit - but the shortcoming is believing one to be wholly, fully and perfectly the unknowable "One" You don't know the Tao. The Tao knows you. Don't mix the two up. embrace your divinity, embrace your humanity...a balance between heaven and earth, but never one without the other, nor moreso or moreless... Oh and yes, I must say I do believe it is a considerable question ^_- Questions and Answers, inseparable as yin and yang!
  12. Shadow people

They feed on all emotions of a negative/self-service oriented vibration - namely fear, anger, lust... they feed ravenously on jing expulsion.. most commonly sighted via drug-induced frequency fluctuations... yet they are a reflection of oneself own inner turmoil and karma...do not fall into the illusion that such 'entities' are separate for oneself, for absolving oneself of their callings is not a matter of focus fighting or conquering; that is what they feed on, but overcoming them is a matter of surrendering to the higher vibrations of love and service to others. They seek to harness the will and drag one down to insanity and endless indulgence/synonymous self-destruction.
  13. Nirvana and transmission (the band Nirvana)

ahh...if you want to talk about transmissions in music in terms of consciousness expansion/spiritual evolution/message.... Tool makes Nirvana look like a frightened little baby chipmunk. hee-hee-he. The Tao of Tool/APC And props to those who mentioned the truth of the Pixies so I didn't compulsively have to (at this point in time)....oh the Pixies, truly just indescribably amazing, the Songs of the World.
  14. Concentration

So many overlook the the physical exertion aspect of concentration..... laziness, it's not all about visualizing rays of light coming out of your butt.... get off your butt and cultivate true concentration by honing your will through physical exertion; everyone wants to master the mind without mastering the body... internal martial arts/mind yoga is bottlenecked without balance of the physical, external counterpart.
  15. "die like a hero" "taoist ideals aside" "i woulda kicked his ass d00d!" "Iā€™m Taoist and preach non-violence" that's a contradiction in itself, Taoists don't preach, and you assume 'violence' cannot be at one point on the Path of the Taoist? Hmhmhmhm, too many assumptions, too much ego;; it all boils down to either fear or love, which will you embrace
  16. Nice to have the Tao Bums back

I see the appeal in the new layout, and I'm assuming there's no way to personally revert to the old theme? Good job on the upgrade.
  17. Cultivation Quotes

  18. Filling Vs. Opening [a Center]

    Truly sagacious advice. Excellent mindfulness.
  19. Filling Vs. Opening [a Center]

"if a 'wannabe daoist' wishes to find out more, the only other way (other than be formally accepted as indoor student) is to try to piece together all the pieces of puzzle that exist as free information ~ i'm refering to posts from posters like Practitioner, YM, and some others etc." Oh really? The only ways huh. Makes me ponder the Original Source of such seemingly club-exclusive knowledge. Kill the Buddha.
  20. Consciousness is Not Eternal

There is no one, nothing that has not experienced this. It is just to what degree, frequency, vibrational level/awareness that we vary, though we all eventually return to the Source.
  21. Consciousness is Not Eternal

There is only One consciousness, its true name cannot be named, and it transcends all duality, all language, it has no beginning, nor end, it animates all living things, it is the One Dreamer, it precedes matter, dreams matter, dreams us. When will we wake up?
  22. That guy who posted about his leaking dan tian and forming blockages is total bs, fearmongering. That's not how it works.
  23. Many say that if you do not wait 72 hours to do dan tian work after you ejaculate, you will tear your Dan tian. I believe this to have some merit.
  24. Yin deficiency

Do you exercise? Actual, Physical exercise? More daily exercise is probably the best solution to yin deficiency... many practices have too much emphasis on stillness/little exertion.
