  1. Bronnikov Method

definitely interested.... who's down to be the official tao bum's bronnikov method pioneer?
  2. I would assume a forced drug injection, be it 'good' or bad, would violate some scope of our fundamental constitutional rights in the US, in terms of infringement upon one's personal freedom of liberty/religion/whatever self-evident truth-to-be-disregarded. this is pretty amazing if it becomes solid mandate.
  3. Social Life and Energy Work

I think that socialization and energy work can go well hand in hand, I would not recommend anyone to abandon their social life for the sake of energy cultivation; why? Do you remember that feeling, that surge of energy that arose in you after an enticing or unexpected conversation with a friend or even a stranger? You could be feeling like total crap, too tired to even walk without extreme annoyance, and one simple conversation or random act of kindness can totally lift you up and make you feel like a million dollars. I see that in itself as energy work; the energy of human interaction and relationships, something one would be hard pressed to experience while living in solitude. I'm not saying that it is bad to isolate yourself for a time so you can gain a deeper insight/cultivation with your practice, but I truly wouldn't recommend abandoning the trials of society for that sole purpose. Energy cultivation has definitely, drastically altered my perception of relationships and social life, for the better, and some may say you have no social life, others may say you live like a rockstar - it's all relatively arbitrary anyways. I'd say don't worry about living too little or too much of a social life/or training in your practice. Just consider the everlasting Tao, it is the Source that will waive our illusions of priorities and concerns in the end of it all.
  4. Visualisation, Imagination and Reality

Very impressive post Stigweard, I agree wholeheartedly. All that is truly great was born from the seed of imagination.

  7. Apologies

Mj, I doubt he appreciates his full name being put out like that.
  8. David Verdesi

I remember a while ago there was talk about sending a reputable tao bum on one of David's seminars, and I believe several ended up going anyways, each claiming that David and his practice was legit. From what I know, David's pai of Lei Shan Dao is inherently similar to that of the Mo-Pai, in terms of goals and results; considering the Mo-Pai is now closed door, one would be hard-pressed to find anything other than Lei Shan Dao if he wanted to take such a path of what I like to call "extreme yang chi cultivation" Based on what I read, before David or the other instructors will show you the Lei Shan Dao method of creating the Dan Tian (which I'm not sure is similar to the mo-pai's method) you must first learn the moving exercise of Xing Shen Zhuang as a prerequisite in order to open the channels in the spine (possible safety net, I'm assuming). Nei gong doesn't start until the "foundation training" is completed (takes 2 years I hear?), the foundation training being merely the straightening of the spine and empty thought/stillness meditation, the methodology of which I believe is fully explained in video by David himself and can be found on a Russian website.
  9. Magic And Mystery In Tibet

looks like its a frame from one of the matrix movies
  10. John Changs 1st Westerner student

Any of you pro sound editors want to digitally remove the Russian narration from the David Verdesi video, and upload it somewhere? mucho kudos
