Okey, You want to say it has roots in Shaolin but there are many systems rooted in Shaolin and many of them distorted to the level of calisthenics but this system has unique authentic engine. I can not agree or disagree but only heard few positive feedbacks and can not judge. But I suppose it is good system indeed, I saw couple people on the seminar who were like swimming in this chi flow and it really did some good energy cleansing for the. JUST BY DOING IT 1 HOUR A DAY. This is evidance of the advance system

Nowadays only 15 minutes are enough. Those advanced Students show energetics in performing their animal form and tit was amazing how to see the flow.
yeah. this sounds pretty good. the power is in simplicity. and this requires transmission. i am attracted to it because it is more high notch energetic gong despite many others chikung which requires hours and hours. this system seems to be real alchemy practice. but at the same time i am in doubts. because it is not only chikung but kungfu system. and it is quite pricey. they do not hold permanent kungfu classes and based on seminar basis. every seminar is very expensive and you can not develop your kung fu skills. yeah. one can do just qigong, but this qigong is martial indeed and kubg fu practice should be the base of the entire system. taichi they teach is not in lineage. it is mix of styles developed by the order of communist party in China. these both factos are the downside of the entire system. i do not think that authentic system must be based on spontaneous chi flow and i look towards the bruce kumar system. the goal is the same - to reach energy body and remove blockages. in WKK system it is might be more straightforward as there is direct transmission. BKF system might be more slow. And very expensive too. But can be learned from the book and from local instructors. I did seminar on cosmos chikung 2 years ago but it did not work for me but i mixed with yoga and did not practice enough every day. Now thinking this is really advanced gong but I could not elaborate it. They hold seminar soon where I live and there is summer camp in the UK soon with Sifu Wong. He will transmit 18 lohan set and bone nourishing. Hmm, this is good but it is better to learn kung fu system where you can practice it in pair for martial skills. This system is more for health.

This set looks completely different from what I practice. Some of the techniques look a lot like 8 brocades...
It only looks like basic calisthenics brocades but as far as i know it is quite advanced level. There are 18 lohan hands and 18 lohan art plus iron wire and bone nourishing. I am interested myself. More info is here

There are five levels of energy flow: at the levels of the skin, the flesh, the meridians, the organs and the bone marrow. Bone Marrow Cleansing works at the highest level.
We should note that “bone marrow” in this context does not refer literally to bone marrow only. It includes the nervous system and the brain. Hence, Bone Marrow Cleansing is clean sing the whole nervous system.

As for myself I noticed I eat less. Now I eat in the midday and it is enough for me for the all day. I do not feel hunger for the rest of the day. But only can have few fruits in the evening. But I have proper lunch. Now I avoid meat but eat cheese and eggs.
I have some shaking too. But I think it is because of I still have blockages. I have some heavy spots. In the head, shoulders, back of spine and some in the hips. I think vol.1 and 2 designed such the way to unblock it. Vol. 1 working more with legs. I feel sometime how energy start moving in my buttocks and hips. And vol.2 is more for the brain nourishing and heart, and lower DT.
It is might be what they call cultivation of xing and ming but i only guessing.
I have now time for 3 times a day practice. Before did only once for 1 hour 40 mins. I will do FPCK 2 times and will be trying to do both vols.
I decided to add baguazhang practice once a day. water path method by Bruce Frantzis. I think it should help to open the energy gates of the body.
As it is method for conscious desolving of all blockages. It includes all bagua neikung work.
Sifu Terry mentioned here once that FPCK builds up some very good healing energy which is better digested with solid wushu practice.

I also am starting to play Bagua. I have got Chris Matsuo's DVD on basic circle walking chikung (8 energy set). Looks great. But there in no info on the mind set and how to move feet exactly (i mean neikung). Is it crucial for this set, does anybody know?
I have seen good reviews on Tom Bisio's bagua neikung book. But video is not so good for self learning.
And also I have bagua mastery program DVDs by BKF. Thinking to get his book Opening Energy Gates... and Water Path Med. and try to learn at home. And then to visit class of an instructor who learned bagua from him. Nice plan I think

Also I wonder... There is info that the founder of FPCQ received these meds from the Buddhist female deity in Emheishan mountains in China. What was the deity actually? There are only few female deities in that region - Quan Yin/Avalokitesavara and Tara. I have very much of sympathy to these deities. I am thinking to recite their mantras and meditate on them after finishing FPCQ meds. Just wonder if it is known what was the deity indeed.

You can do any zazen, any form of Chinese meditation, kung-fu, kung-fu-like, tai chi, tai-chi-like, qigong-like posture/stance or outside meditation after you practice FPCK
Hello. Earlier in this thread I read that taichi movements have different energy structure and it is not advisable to do taichi at the same time when doing FPCQ meds. And I think you mean that meds from vol. 3 & 4 are more efficient and at the same time taichi like and better to do it than taichi for developing FPCQ energy.

When I was body buliding before like Ruthless, I was a vegan and still my muscles was getting bigger.. but I felt lighter, you know what I mean..you would not get that feeling light when eating loads of meat.
I never talked about "loads of meat". If you read again I mentioned fish (i eat no more than 2 times a week), eggs (almost every day) and milk products (often). The man on video ate eggs almost every day. I do not believe to vegans who sell something. You have to wait and see how long they will live on their diet. That's all
These examples you might go through.. so the trick is to always DO listen to your body. Listening to your body isexperiential that which you cannot possibly learn in books
The problem is that I can eat absolutely everything and for my body all is the same. Only when I overeat or eat too much sweets I can feel sleepy or sluggishly. Difficult to know if it is my body telling me or my mind.
And yes all theories are very confusing. I wanted to know the diet best for qi development but I do not believe that vegan is the best

Not sure if diet issue should be discussed here with such extension. But I will answer in short.
I have been eating animal products and grains for over 30 years and I am perfectly fit without any extra weight problem. One should do exercises almost every day. As for inflammation there are at least two meanings of this word in English. One physical and another describes emotions. I can agree with second meaning regarding harmless as it might be make mind more "gross" but as for phys. health please make sure you have no got this theory from vegan books, they like to write these theories. Actually there are no long lived persons among vegans. Body needs some animal proteins. Only may be high level yogis and taoist masters can stay healthy for a long period without animal food. And indian yogis drink milk and eat much rice as well as chinese masters.

Yeah, it is what i am thinking right now actually to go for grain (rice, oat, spelt) diet with milk and some fresh salads and only eggs out of animal proteins. Ive got big tub of raw plants protein powder supplement from health store and mix it with food. Question was about fish. I think we do not need much protein indeed. I am thinking to go for calories restriction diet - below 1800 cal per day or even 1500. Not to eat sweets and any processed food for 100 days and have a look how i will be getting on. (for me it is also money issue - i am on low budget now. but there is another issue too - health, so buy one and second free
)

ShivaShakti, I mentioned fish, not meat at all. There is theory that fish does not have so much "stress hormone" and so it is much less toxic than meat. I have Max's Kunlun book here where it is stated that fish is very good for balancing and grounding.
In TCM there is theory that benefits of eating big amount of fruits and veg. are fiction and it is even harmful. Especially in cold period of year. Some people stand for th e benefits of raw food and another for cooked such as rice and grains and give advise to have very small amount of fruits and vegs. Latter theory is from book on TCM.

Also I want to ask Sifu Terry about food and drink recommendations. I am confused about diet recomend-s. Some people stand that raw food with small amount of protein is preferable, some another that animal protein such as fish grounds and balanced body. In tradit. chinese medicine many practitioners stand for the benefits of cooked food as it is digested better.
How long to wait after practice before taking meal?
What about coffee?

Does prolonging time of each MSW really empower meds?
i decided to go for 100 days "retreat" too. I ll be doing next:
preporat. for standing about 20-30 mins (more time for the wuchi stance);
first three of standing meds for approx. 12, 20 and 12 = 45 mins
and 3 prep. for seated + MSW1 15 mins=30 mins; in total about 1 hour 40 mins couple times a day.
plus seated stillness meditations. not sure about retention but want to try it for qi rejuvenation

by chance i am working on MSW 1-3 (have not really finished incorporation of #3 yet,, but expect to do so by next week) and use the Long form (vol. 4), daily 2 or more times.
But why not Vol. 1 ? Vol.4 is advanced form.

do you have the kuan yin video? i'm not talking about the one (bell meditation) on youtube... the specific one (transmission) on the kuan yin video. In the video it is to awaken and stimulate specific parts of the brain and energy in place for manifesting. I think that it is very well described on the video.
To learn seriously, yes the direct transmission from my eyes and hands is a must. The practices are all foundations of frame or framework which is vital to transformation this framework is for knowing where you should be to be most efficient or wuji.. physically and energetically (the rules).. all my practices overlap this set of protocol or principle. the only way to know this is to train with me or the dvds. the different disciplines illustrate this. this is then called the pre heaven or vajra level or the lining up, merging with the forces of nature, the polish and sculpting.... post heaven or phurba level is the wielding of the forces of nature the applying or functional, this is the only way to the transformation i think you are asking about.... Spiritual transformation cannot be done without applying for real and putting yourself on the edge, on the spot... trying just to see if you can, will do nothing... accomplish nothing this makes sense right? the word enlightenment, i think is more exact as awakening, 'buddha' means awakened one and awakening in the 9 palace or celestial or heavenly steps is step one of 9.To better answer, seriously, is i need to know what you mean by spiritual transformation ( it is a very general term) i need this because you are asking 'And what do we need to practice exactly for spiritual transformation?... exactly and spiritual transformation you see dont belong in the same sentence...example, a change of life philosophy simply by viewing 5 min of the video is spiritual transformation, the growth and development of the pineat and pituitary several times its size and capacity from practicing the meditation on the video is spiritual transformation, The ability heitened enough to know the weak spot or where to be when in your life after practicing the meditation is spiritual transformation.. The increase up to 100% brain capability at a very effortless pace from the meditation on the video is spiritual transformation.seriously, i have 100s of students doing excellent from the dvds bagua, meditations, etc. The transmissions on the dvd and they can fast forward, rewind, ask questions, send footage, receive corrections, etc.... it is not hard to learn from dvds. sometimes my students here wish they had dvds to watch at home... they are all beneficial at high degrees. my dvds are not normal dvds i do put a lot of information in there. packed with training which dvds have yu seen so far? you would not be able to tell from only seeing youtubes.-

No, not enough information for my request. But OK for basics.
Kunlun is symbol of Pineal gland. Developed p.g. means reaching enlightnment I guess. But it is very questioable. I read opinion of some masters that it might be dangerous to work with p.g. And that's the problem I was mentioning. I can not get answers through internet this way. Mine problem, I am too indulging like you say? I dunno. That was not precise answer on what I asked. My main query was about ability to learn via DVDs and if it can be completed and what to practice exactly.

I am max's wu family lineage holder and maybe i use his name wu xiao shr because that is the lineage line of the wu family, but the lineage is the same... It is not clear, but the line of teaching roots in the origin in persia and india and tibet then kunlun then into the chinese mountains into japan... an unbroken lineage. At whatever level we choose to teach it, it maybe called something else, but the essence is the same, the focus and ultimate outcomes maybe slightly different depending on how it was used in that certain time in history, but take thinder breathing for example, there is bonpo, there is nyng ma, the family methods, but they are following a line of traditional teachings passed down through generations and perhaps renamed, in the family systems, the secrets are shared the working flexable knowledge of the methods so that they are 'tweakable', but there is nothing wrong with learning the method however it was presented. I think that your discussion group may not be aware that it maybe a timeline more that difference in lineage. And what would you credit the growth and development of the brain and pineal pituitary glands, etc for ultimately???? do you think it would be beneficial? and do you think all would achieve the same or different outcome?? If i gave everyone 100% brain capability and put the chi in their left hand only, would they all come out the same? If i gave the ability to manifest, would the outcomes all look the same? Looking at it this way, you can probably figgure out the practical nature of it....
To be honest I do not understand precisely but guess that 100 % of brain capability would be great result.

So I have a diverted view on this phenomenom.
Absolutely agree with you here. I asked this question on another taoist forum years ago. That forum is on the authentic taoist alchemy school. They confirmed that there is spontan. chi flow indeed in alchemical stuff but it can be caused by different phenomenon!!! Even by the spirits! And that it can work with different levels of energy. What I saw people were to much in their emotional stuff, and it was too vigorous. I think it can be not useful really and not nesses, the evidence of spiritual growth. I can not esteem it on my level. But I was told that it is dangerous practice and can cause inclinations! So I am not in a hurry to go to this seminar and would better bind myself with authentic alchemy sect. They say In their system spontan. chi flow is very soft and pleasant. I can not elaborate it more.
