  1. i find dxm to be more useful in quick-advancing my path. it is like adding years of practice to your meditation experience. Like see through your eyelids type stuff, enough to count fingers held in front of your face. All worry drops away easily the second i begin to sit, and i forget my body within 5 minutes if that is my goal. If extracted from the raw material, i hear it is around as dangerous as a night of drinking. It certainly feels about that damaging on a personal experience level but you never know.

That said, while i like lsd, it is very damaging to my nerves. i find myself twitching for up to a week afterwards and my general energy levels are down. i also feel greasy all over. Most of the good i get out of trips comes from being paranoid into an introspective corner, and i haven't really felt the lsd-unity talked about it this video while i have definitely felt it on dxm.

i can't force my brain to be negative on dxm, it just can't happen

  2. SO SOOOOOO tired of the "religion is a major cause of war" crap. The people that spout it are the same ones that start with the "everything has a scientific explanation and religion is bullshit" Well what about how fear of nuclear weapons brings people to create more nuclear weapons? Sounds like a science problem to me. Nothing is the problem but people themselves, and to blame it on any one thing is stupid because if it wasn't that thing it would just be another thing.

  3. Well i am basically looking for lowering of energy being that i have head pressure. But i also need static strengthening postures for legs because i have knee problems i am a year into working on and postural imbalances. i just added ZZ to my morning routine and i've been at it for a week. i feel like it is really helping me build leg strength back up and correct my posture.

also, i don't make my breath go a certain way - i just count when i inhale and exhale and allow it to go naturally. i'm not restricting or retaining

i'm not really flip flopping between systems (anymore) just taking what i find helps me from everything i discover and putting it together. is this a bad idea? it doesn't feel wrong

  4. not so, and some end in cul de sacs, others are unnavigatable, others are toll roads, others wish to personalise their route, some are unambitious travellers, others wish to travel the world in 80 days.

but they all died, no matter what their system, no matter what their level of practice.

  5. i would assume anything that greatly stimulates adrenaline, and anything deliberately done to raise energy such as 3rd eye focusing. But are there any particular poses/practices i should watch out for? Anything abdominal strengthening seems to raise energy for me, as well as chest expansions.

Also the breath counting meditation i do seems to increase my head pressure - something i am really trying to avoid. Can anyone recommend any better meditations?

In addition to saying what things i shouldn't do, can anyone give me advice on what yogic practices compliment chi kung?

  6. iirc Max skipped the 2 & 3 that were in the original book because 2 is similar to the red sun practice and red sun is more heart centered, and 3...I vaguely recall that being because red phoenix 2 has some similar features. All in the interest of streamlining.

so there isn't really a point in getting the old books?

Also is there stuff i can absolutely only learn at a seminar? as i said before, this is completely out of the question for me.

  7. Looking into buying a book. Have some questions.

    How many books are there?

    What are they all called?

How much money can i expect to eventually spend if i were to purchase the whole course?

What exactly do i get? Not asking anybody to be really explicit, just give me an idea of informational content amount.

    Cheapest place to buy them?

also, there probably are threads on this but this sites search functions mysteries elude me

  8. you progress from the most illogical state

of being a human to the most reasonable state ( like a barnacle )

    Losing trash as you go.

Dunno if i agree if it is trash that we are losing, but i have also contemplated on the thought that in losing understanding you gain a certain quality of living in the moment that would be favorable to some.
