  1. Vegan Diet

lol, cleansing means that your keeping your body clean. So if your presuming that having your body kept clean is a bad thing then that would mean that you think its okay to have a toxic body? There can never be too much cleansing if you want your body to be pure......
  2. Vegan Diet

That makes no sense. If your saying that plants have no B vitamins but the animals are able to distribute B vitamins onto the body of whoever ingests the animal....then where are the animals getting their B vitamins from?
  3. Vegan Diet

If animals are eating and consuming vegetables to get their nutrition then you are getting nutrition from the foods that the animal had ingested before getting slaughtered. If your going to eat an animal for nutrition why not just go straight to the source of the nutrition aka plants? It's simple logic.
  4. Vegan Diet

If animals are eating and consuming vegetables to get their nutrition, wouldn't it make sense that only the vegetables give you all the nutrition that you require? If your going to eat an animal for nutrition, why not just go to the source of the nutrition that comes from plant life? It's simple logic.
  5. What are you reading right now?

Currently finishing up Global Sociology; Introducing Five Contemporary Societies. This book has some rudimentary, basic sociological concepts that expounds on a few cultures in the world. Egypt, Germany, Japan, and Mexico are the countries. Their section on Japan had information that intrigued me but sections on Egypt and Mexico have been a bore. Those sections contains mostly facts and information pertaining to various statistics and figures that have risen based off of their cultural trends. I have more of an affinity towards deep analytical reading, books that are formatted in a way that really engages deep thought.
  6. A snippet of wisdom being imparted. I enjoyed it and got some good advice from it. thanks for sharing.
  7. The Matrix Trilogy Decoded by Mark Passio

Oh wow, what was the cause? Yeah man the energy that was circulating at the conference didn't feel good. and you are right when you said the truth is within. some people certainly get way to caught up in secret societies and the agenda of the higher echelons and have disregarded the only solution to the problem; to walk their own path and follow their heart. peace be with you my friend.
  8. The Matrix Trilogy Decoded by Mark Passio

it was basically just a lot of people that were prominent researchers and lecturers in the occult/conspiratorial field of study. it was held at a church venue in pennsylvannia. they sold lots of books/crystals/metaphysical tools there. many people attended from all walks of life from my observation (spiritual,non-spiritual,religious,business people, young, old etc.) in terms of the atmosphere and the lectures, it was pretty gloomy haha. the first lecturer jay park pretty much traumatized me and my friend for a good half an hour or so. he elucidated on his childhood experience under illuminati satanic ritual abuse. but every other lecturer after that spoke about information that i already had understanding of prior to attending. funnily enough i didn't get to stay for mark but i had heard him on a radio show and hes quite an intellectual dude. my friend and i left because it got monotonous for us. but for anyone that had never been exposed to this type of information would be in for a treat.
  9. The Matrix Trilogy Decoded by Mark Passio

i was actually at the free your mind conference 2 session. it was an interesting gathering, mark passio seems like a cool dude. but he does drop some great knowledge for the alternative research community.
  10. Loneliness and Lack of Connection

Loneliness? Once you begin to learn how to communicate with your spirit guides, life is anything but lonely..
  11. What is wrong with me?

Dude you have to love and respect yourself first. fuck what everyone else thinks of you. its YOUR responsibility to give yourself love not anyone else's. stop externalizing yourself. complaining or going to the counselor is not going to solve your problem. it all comes down to you. you have to just sit down, take the time and just give appreciation for your own existence. the fact that you are even alive right now and breathing is a gift. tune your mind into that. and don't do it in ritualistic fashion either, give thanks to your thoughts, your health, the earth for providing you with everything. fuck peoples opinions and judgments man. trust the universe and yourself first. im telling you.
  12. What is the secret of being ultra smart ?

Well first its important to know yourself so that the subjects can be truly applicable to you and your well-being. knowledge of self is more important than being smart. and after you have to change your mindset. if you know in your mind that your are smart then you will be. once you've sent out this thought pattern to the universe, it will assist you in doing the things necessary to cultivate and develop your intelligence. 1. Read a lot of books, study a bunch of different subjects. 2. Eat healthy (veggies, fruits and seeds) 3. Increase your vocabulary (check words in the dictionary, learn a new word everyday) 4. Take some time to yourself to think and analyze certain subjects, relate it to the world at large 5. Did i mention read? Yes, read read read read read. Reading comprehensive books expands your mind like no other. Go to the library, used book store, amazon.com...just read whatever it is that interests you. If it's capturing your attention span then thats all that matters.
  13. Is "zero" greater than one?

Zero has infinite potential therefore it is infinitely expansive. Also one comes after zero. Therefore zero is greater than one. Are humans greater than the creator? No because the human came after the creator, or out of it. therefore the creator is greater than the human.
  14. Is enjoying food important?

Refined starches (rice, corn, potato, wheat) do a number on your pancreas. It spikes your blood sugar levels, giving you a high amount of energy right away. But it also drops just as quick and thats when fatigue sets in. At the same time this is debilitating the pancreas natural function to produce insulin. Too much insulin results in low blood sugar levels and not enough causes high blood sugar levels (diabetes). Consuming the processed carbohydrates regularly slowly debilitates the pancreas and therefore the liver. These are both important for your digestive enzymes to be released to help digest food. If you have an unhealthy pancreas then your bodies going to have a more difficult time digesting food. Also, when people eat a meal (with refined starches), they get tons of energy at first but then that drops. They need more sugar to help re-balance that sugar drop...and where would they usually turn too? MORE CARBS. so its a devious cycle that is rampant in the standard american diet today.
  15. Is enjoying food important?

It's less about the pleasures and more about what is substantial or has substance. For me it's when i am connected to spirit. When i am in true alignment with my purpose and carrying out what the universe destined for me to do (which can only be accessed by true love) then i feel truly fulfilled. True fulfillment is when something occurs that resonates within' you for life. It is timeless, perpetual, permanent, eternal, everlasting...what have you. So it's not about seeking pleasure...its about appreciating life for what it is, a gift bestowed onto you from the creator in abundance, creativity, beauty, and harmony. Only when you shift your paradigm or perspective of life can you feel the essence of what it means to be a human being in this realm. Only when your heart is right, will your mind be right. You must heal your heart and understand yourself before consciousness reveals itself to you.
  16. Is enjoying food important?

I'm certainly not opposed to the enjoyment of food as that is part of our natural emotion pertaining to any sort of consumption...enchanting music, purchasing your dream car, the sights of a curvaceous female. It is only when those mundane pleasures become ones sole source of fulfillment. Thats when it becomes a problem...because physical pleasures are never truly "fulfilling."
  17. Is enjoying food important?

This has some truth to it, but at the end of the day its all a matter of degree. I get pleasure from raw veggies, but its natural and so therefore its going to keep me balanced. The cooked meats with salt doused on it, is unnatural so i may get "enjoyment" while consuming it, but its going to make me feel lethargic and physiologically dense soon thereafter. Also the logic behind your last line doesn't really make sense. If anything is able to bring pleasure then that mean anything can be bad for your health as well. So that statement negates itself, which i understand is just that taoist point of view where there basically there is no such as duality. Good and bad, pleasure and pain are merely illusions. My post is merely trying to bring the scope of the American diet and overall lifestyle into perspective. An addiction would mean that you can't control yourself from doing something that you know is not putting you into balance. For example, if your indulging in foods thats processed and high in refined sugar then yes your going to feel like shit afterwards. And because of the tolerance that you have built for that particular food over a set period of time, your less likely to listen to your body when its telling you to stop during your binge. But in my experience, when i got my body set back to eating the foods that the creator put for us on this earth in its unrefined, primordial state, i enjoy it, am grateful for it, my body knows when to tell me when it actually needs it (all of the nutrients to sustain me are in the raw foods) and i also feel energized to engage in my daily duties. Feeling whole is great.
  18. Is enjoying food important?

for me i find what you guys called "bland" foods to be very tasty and nourishing. I became a vegetarian a little over year ago and i went raw vegan a few weeks back. Our taste buds have grown to require salty, highly seasoned, sugary foods to feel satisfied. For me ever since i went vegan and then raw vegan, vegetables, fruits and nuts and seeds are so delicious to me. I also feel much more appreciative of these foods because i know there in their natural state and given to me from the creator. So i feel like much what you guys would call bland food is merely just the fact that you've become intolerant of the foods that were created for your sustenance and pleasure, being conditioned and habitualized to crave processed and refined food. Salt and sugar hits our dopamine centers with a blast of pleasure. So once i laid off any type of processed foods for some time, i don't crave them at all. Fruits and veggies are the perfect balance for my body. And my body now intuitively tells me when i actually need food, not whenever i have an unnecessary craving (emotional). For the author of this topic, try drinking some tea that stimulates appetite, for example ginger or licorice root. Also make sure your getting enough zinc. Zinc is the base mineral that regulates mens testosterone levels which is crucial because it gets depleted quick through every day stress. Zinc is in beans, nuts/seeds, corn, and rice. (Nuts and seeds are the best bet)
  19. The Unchanging Truth

The truth is love. The give and receive reciprocal operation of our universe is the only truth. Everything else that is not commanded by this dynamic is either an illusion or a lie.

what is suppressed will eventually be expressed.
  21. So i had been abstaining from any type of orgasm for about a week into yesterday morning when suddenly i started getting a random nocturnal emission. Interestingly during my dream i could tell that i was about to have one. I think me reacting to it actually made it want to release itself more. The issue is that during the emission i actually tried to hold it in but it kept going as i was forcefully trying to hold it mid-ejaculation. (i was barely awake but knew i did not want my jing to spill and i believe not all of it fully came out) After, I knew that i had done the wrong thing by trying to unnaturally hold it in and then throughout the whole day i had a weird feeling in my abdominal/kidney area. This morning i woke up with an erection and also a strange feeling in my testicles, kinda like it still wants to fully finish the emission i guess? Now my question is should i just get myself to ejaculate again naturally and then start over the abstaining process or should i just not even bother as this is a "minor" injury? (Im not really sure if i actually injured my ejaculatory system or not, so now im just confused if i should do something about it or just let it be) I suspect i can do some sort of qiqong meditation to make the feeling in my testicles go away or it may even go away over time, although i am wondering if it is because im still sexually "charged" because i did not fully ejaculate or because i just messed up my ejaculatory system through that act. P.s. I am pretty much new here so hello to all and thank you for those whose reply to this!
  22. or take a certain type of herb/aphrodisiac to aid in strengthening your reproductive organ.
  23. There is no "consciousness"?

Exactly. How do you know what you need if you do not know yourself in the first place?
  24. There is no "consciousness"?

yes patience and being receptive to the knowledge by being aware is key.
  25. There is no "consciousness"?

The way i perceive the notion of consciousness is that, it is merely understanding that you are a higher being rather then the ego lie that we have been sold to by society. And the only way to become conscious is to move up past the heart chakra. That only happens when you truly love yourself and therefore everything around you.
