I fear any man who has no fear. No fear of lossing your loved ones? No fear of hurting innocent babies? No fear of killing your mom because God telling you so?
Â
A man without fear is either a robot or a pure evil.

No good camera for night sky shots, unfortunately.
Â
You think your camera can capture the rainbow? Are you sure?
Â
Congratulations! You have more channels opened up.
Â
I sometimes see stuff that others around me can't see, I learn how to be quiet about it. A trip to hospital in a cop's car isn't my idea of fun.
Â
Next time if you see the rainbown around the moon, ask someone around you with subtlety like "What a beautiful night! The moon looks weird to me."
-
Interesting. I'm turned off by his voice too.
Â
Though he gives me hope too. I still can be a popular speaker dispite of my crappy accent.

Is the sage a human?
Â
Is Human allowed to have irrational thinking like love or faith? If so, why not fear?

I think the entire video should be very interesting for everyone. I honestly think all of it is very relevant to just about everything on the this forum.
Â
The part where he describes the way he sees the world after his transformation, I am pretty sure that is a pretty good description.
Â
He didn't seem to mention the depression and madness period.
Â
I just have a problem with the title of the thread. If I see a video with title "the greatet soccer performence by Joe", I'd expect to see some soccer footages. If the entire video is about Joe's interview with a reporter, I'd expect different title like "Q & A by the great soccer star Joe".
Â
I did learn a lot from his video. Thanks for posting.
-
His descriptions match a lot of what has been written by a lot of sages.
Â
The titile of the thread is "The Greatest Description of Enlightnment".
Â
After watching the video, I didn't find the "description of enlightment".
Â
The title of the tread should be "Q and A video by Gopi Krishna".

I'm disappointed. An hour of talk, I still had no idea what he saw or experienced. Instead he kept telling us how I should live my life based on his understanding.
-
Have you heard of asexual? It's totally OK to not have sexual feelings. Who knows what a teenager male is supposed to think of opposite sex. Maybe you like boys. You never know.
Â
Also, you should have x-ray or ultrasonic on your internal sexual organ. I heard some guys have female sexual parts inside them that make them confused about their sexual feeling.
Â
Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

WOW.....You too bring out Dr. and PhD. to tell stories with fairy tales now.
Â
I see anyone who is in the unwanted view is "this person is trolling". Yes, I knew that.
Â
Have you heard of pacemaker?

FOURTH STAGE: Is a person who has gone beyond thinking about it as they have come to realise that such thoughts distance themselves somehow from the purity of the experience of non-experience. The practice of no-thought can lead to this without having 'awoken'. So the world is not seen with distinct objects however such objects are noticed or else they would be bumped into all the time. Whereas a person at the third stage might think; this tree is Suchness as is that cloud and therefore both are the same; a person in this stage would not think of anything while looking at a cloud. They would be carefree and to some degree thought-free until someone engages with them cognitively. So this is most like the first stage and yet there is subtle difference.
Â
Did you expereince these "stage" yourself? Thanks.

Electromagnets
Electric current flowing through a single loop of wire does not generate a very powerful magnetic field. A coil of wire looped many times makes a stronger magnetic field. Placing an iron bar inside the coil of wire makes an electromagnet which is hundreds of times stronger than the coil alone.

Yes, Qigong is enough to be employed to access internal power. Don't worry, breathing to generate Jing will not lower the body's capacity to fight off bacteria rather it will enhance your immune system to do the opposite.
PS....
Please keep in mind that the human body does not behave like a piece of wire nor a coil. What I am saying is your body does not generate electricity nor magnetic field; even though we were told many times by others.Â
Magnetic resonance imagingHave you heard of MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging)? -
So from what I read from you Daojones
I understand you feel discomfort by
the crossing of feet or putting the soles of feet together.
Â
From what I know there are two types from Kinesiology
those system that ran crossed and those that
are linear from the classical information.
Â
People who are in linear system feel better
when they move the same sides legs and arms
together.
Â
The energy flow is fast. Actually this
is a non prefered state because one may take a lot
of energy of not so suited energyforms and also may
flush out too much energy before it had the time to do
something in the body.
Â
General it is said that this sort of flow is unnatural to
normal human as it happens if one is under stress and
energy has to be fastend to mobilize the resource
and that may burn up energy. This also occurs when
energy is increased and is too much for the system
to handle (overtraining on energetic scale)
Â
It is called "switching". Then one use deswitching
methods (one can google for the methods)
Â
An interesting method to try. It's a twist on a classic taoist morning ritual, I think.
Â
The toaist morning routine I know is as following. (do these very lazy and relax just like a morning person who's not fully awaken).
Â
--Strech your back and have a big breath (yawn like).
Â
--Wash your face (with both hands without water, circle around face, fingers lightly brushing face)
Â
--Brush your teeth (with tonge wihout water, swirl your tonge around inside your mouth)
Â
--Comb your hair and mustache (with hands only)
Â
--Smell the flower (nose sniff air a few times)
Â
--Wake up the neighbourhood (shout out a big and long Om or any sounds you fancy).
Â
It's a good method to boost energy anytime when one feels tired. It takes about five minutes.
Â
I'll experiment do it cross hands to "de-switching".
-
Kinda random, but for a while I've been feeling weird with my feet.
Â
I have tendency to touch the soles together and that just doesn't feel good, almost draining of my energy? Not sure how to describe my feelings on this one.
Â
Another thing I do is cross my feet and then I just feel really weird. Again, I'm not sure how to describe what it feels like, but I don't like it - yet I feel compelled to do this on many occasions while sitting.
Â
Would appreciate any advice based on experience or knowledge from a system.
Â
How do you feel if you do similar things with your hands? Do you have the similar feeling?
Â
In general, one should feel good when two of the same body parts connect: two hands, two feet, two kneels, two elbows, two eyes, two nostrils, two cheeks, two breasts, two balls... I think you get the idea.
-
Now I assume that you are taught to meditate and to do certain exercises, yes?
These exercises are taught to you to help you have control over this new power that has mixed in with your own.
This power has the ability to make you see and feel all sorts of strange and wonderful things that you never experienced before, when you concentrate. It has mixed with your own being. It can make you hear voices, make you feel wonderful, make strange feelings and sensations in your body, many different experiences. But that is what it is and nothing else. As you are taught more and gain more control over your senses and this power can be added to, it again can be enhanced by more spiritual practices that ignite your very essence.
So some sects believe that the celestial beings inhabit our organs and so they can be summoned and they can guide us.
The ways of summoning these celestial beings and tapping into their knowledge, some sects believe that it is through rites and rituals that they will achieve this.
Â
Sounds like premature kundalini activites.
Â
It seems that some Taoist sect know how to force activate K.

Have a drink. Relax. You'll be fine. Just don't drink and drive and don't go overboard.

Time for my regular dental cleaning, I was petrified.
Â
While my dentist systemicaly torturing my mouth, I gazed at the overhead lamp trying to relax my body.
Â
It woked. The pain wasn't as intense as before.
Â
I thanked my dentist in my heart for helping keep my teeth healthy.
Â
Relaxed more, I scaned my body. I noticed that my shoulder was tense, I changed my arm position to let the tension go. I continued going downward. Just when I noticing a blockage on my feet, my mouth and my right foot got "connected". All the stimulates done to mouth somehow transfered to my foot. My right foot moved violently by itself.
Â
When everything calmed down, the blockage on my right foot that I'd been tring to get rid for two years gone !!!!!!

Generally one has
things tense to tense
things relax to relax
things move to move
things keep stil to keep still
Â
Thanks for the comments. It's nice to have someone else confirm my hacking approach to Kunlun
Â
In my understanding, it's not the speed but the acceleration, the change rate in speed, that generate more Qi.
Â
The time from 0 to 60 mph is more relevant than the top speed. Of corse, a higher top speed can help you in the acceleration phase longer.

after a while it seems anything done for that long (1 hour as it says in the book) will have effects, however the main thing that turned me off was to have a chunk of my day (3 hours) not eating or drinking ( 1 hour before and after expletive on no eating or drinking rule). How do you guys manage that?
Â
Â
Â
I never take the drinking rule seriously. I drink when I thirsty.
Â
I don't eat before the meditation. During and after I eat whenever I feel hungry, not heavy thing, just fruit, nuts, ice cream bar, donuts, pizza.

I use four versions tummo, but haven't come upon this variant.
I mainly work on increasing cycles of retention and sublimation.
Â
What do you mean by "retention"? "semen retention"
Â
Fear in emotional body is similar to pain in physical body. It's a warning sign says that you might come across a new territory. Sometimes one moves forward with caution. Sometimes, one backs off if one's not ready.
Â
I believe in "no pain, no gain". But I'm not a fan of these extreme "boot camp".

Love is all you need.
Â
In the beginning, there was only love.
Â
Not actually, there was hate as well. Without hate, love didn't know how to stand on its own.
Â
Being a lover, hate was a dirty word. No lovers wanted to admit hate was part of love. Other words was invented to do what hate did, like justice. So a lover could kill others without being hateful.
Â
So there were love and justice.
Â
But the lover wanted to tell others there were only love. But the justice clear stated there were love and justice(hate). Others got confused, they started looking for truth.
Â
So you got love, justice and truth instead of love, hate and lie. A new religion was born.
Â
God, heaven and faith is just another variation.
-
I've been incorportating modified Kunlun into my practice.
Â
Due to my shoulder blockage, I haven't been using the hand mudra taught in Kunlun. I just use Tai Ji hand. I don't know if I can say I practice Kunlun.
Â
In sitting meditaion, I start with Kunlun for about 15 minutes. I don't know how to go deep with it.
-
I think one of the funniest tattoos I saw a picture of a while back was just above it and said "if you dont eat it, you dont need it"
Â
The Confucius says "eat it with your eyes, caress it with your words."
-
Never had the falling feeling, but I would get constriction in the chest, heat in the neck, tension in the head.
Â
This realization came upon me some years ago. These days, I center myself by using breath/body awareness.
Being not thinking. Works well most all the time.
Â
Is this the sign of "mystic fire"?
- 30 times balloon blowing
- Breathe in fully
- Breath out fully and hold until gasp reflex
- Inhale fully and hold for 10-15 seconds.
- Repeat until finished
- Take 5 minutes to relax and scan your body
The above procedure is Wim Hof similified tummo method. You might be able to do some experiment to determine if they're similar.
Â
Interestingly gasping respiration in the dying patient is the last respiratory pattern prior to terminal apnoea. I'm convinced that it's similar too.
Â
IMHO, Qi Gong is just a "safe" method to experience "death" while "alive".

Recovery from this depressions is possible only by the development of inner well-being. Then we can return to our former pleasures with a securer base. When you talk to people who have battled depression they often report feeling a kind of gratitude fro the experience. They feel that it matured them, made them more compassionate perhaps, and added a richer dimension to their existence. I used to be a psychologist in the NHS but all this talk about mental illness as pathology really bothered me, I always seemed to see something almost productive in it
Â
Can you do something about it?
Â
You might be in a position to figure out a new way to treat the mental illness patients. Working inside an organization is easier to change it than someone from outside.

"The Sage has no interests of his own,
But takes the interests of the people as his own.
He is kind to the kind;
He is also kind to the unkind:
For Virtue is kind.
He is faithful to the faithful;
He is also faithful to the unfaithful:
For Virtue is faithful..."
Â
Interesting verse. The bible has similar concept.
Â
"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."
law of 7 and 3 (info quote)

The law of three is easy to see and understand. The pattern of three is everywhere.
Â
The law of seven is tricky to spot and explain. Can someone elaborate more about the law of seven? Thanks.
