  1. Whatever circumstances we are in is the truth. Any fanciful thinking is false.

    What does this mean?

I don't deny my own existence.

I don't know what kind of "God" power you have to make think you're "God".

The only power I have is to confirm my own existence. My birth is real, my dad and mom are real, my ex SO is real, my kids are real, every one and everything I've ever encountered, read, or heard are real. My life is true, my history is true, whatever I've got is true. Such Whatever circumstances I am in is the truth.

That's the only thing I have, nobody can take away from me.

  2. Yes, I am aware you were talking about the human animal. And so was I. We will leave the cows alone for the moment.

Anyone who has authority over you. Your parents, your teachers, your law enforcement agents, all governments from your local to the national, if you are religious, your religion, and on and on. Yeah, your ego too as well as your desires. Shall we add the monied people of America? Might as well, they are the ones who control most of the nation's resources.

The fall of man? Not from eating meat - by letting others have control over us. The controllers are very few - the controlled are the vast majority.

Can you name a few controllers? Thanks.

  3. @drew: putting your energy into people by "flexing your pineal gland" (there are actually no muscles or connective tissue attached to the pineal gland) is creepy. I hope you either stop talking about that, stop doing it, or both.

I don't know. If one stops talking what's in his mind honestly, then I don't have indicator to gauge the information presented by him.

I like honesty in this case. You may know drew for a while. The new comers should have chance to know drew themselves.

  4. But you are God. Everything everyone is created from the same - there is nothing that is not made of God.

Therefore how can you not be God? Feel it - know it - it is separate from ego. If you had fully understood you would not have come from ego.

If a cub behaves like a fully grown lion in front a pack of wild dogs, it'll get killed.

I doesn't really matter who or what I was, my thinking has to match what I can do in this world.

Try to tell your starving kids that you're God instead of putting food on the table, see how it goes.

  5. I seem to be able to access it at will, but it takes few minutes to fully Be Here Now and get into 'tao mode', as I call it. Smoking a litle weed access it immediately, I can feel the structure in place.

Cool. Have you experimented with fully with it yet? I played around with it. It's very powerful and dangerous. I have a job that demand my brain power. I can't afford another mishap.

I understand that you're retired. And you have access to this function all the time. If the "circuit" you have is similar to what I had, you're sitting on a gold mine.

I believe this circuit can make prophecy come true. Well it's more like self-filling prophecy in some sense.

For example, you feed this circuit a statment like "I'm a good person", and activate it. It'd gether all the information and make smart associatiion to convince you that you're a good person. It's like a "dream creation machine". It can alter your sensory.

I got myself into trouble once I feed "I'm God" into the circuit. After serious interactions in a few days, I forgot that I started the chaine of thought. I was fooled by myself.

    Be careful and have fun.

  6. But the power to project out a line of thinking, into the stratosphere sometimes. This is a new ability; and the "sense" I get is that the lower back part of my brain is expanding outward, if that makes any sense at all. It doesn't feel like its new abilities are due to study in particular (although certainly that has to have been part of it) and it doesn't feel like the intelligence is coming from the front of the brain, as it normally would have from just book-learnin'.

No, it's something happening 'behind' me and it continues burrowing deeper and deeper, expanding greater and greater. It's as though there are triangles, perceived by me at some level I don't understand, that connect the essences of one subject to the next. This intelligence is capable of diminishing things to their essence and seeing how they compare to other things, showing what I know (gnow) to be the true alignment.

I do believe that meditation and learning the ability to still the mind is instrumenal in developing any ability or 'gift' such as the above. I do also believe the somehow te (virtue) is pertinent here too. The motives must be void of any individual drive to "see" - this wasn't an ability I sought out. Rather, it was a by-product of years of study and meditation; and in my particular case, my study was in the form of comparative religion study, an emphasis on metaphysical thought. Perhaps this is the reason I was finally rewarded by something a little out of the ordinary; an ability to see the essence of things.

Yep, I know what you meant. It's like a new circuit inside your brain that you can ativate. It's like a co-processor, additional CPU.

Can you access to this function all the time or you have to activate it by meditation or other means?

  7. Lol, funny you are losing energy when you are happy, Lol.

Yep, I heard that many times from over weight people that complain that they can't lose weight. They claim that the less they eat the more weight they put on.

I'm not putting down over weight people. I'm sure I lie to myself and everyone all the time without knowing myself.

Looking inward is both a meditation method physically and mentally. If that's too hard, one can always look at the mirror. I believe everything happening around you is the reflexion of your internal.

  8. If Adam and Eve live in a ONE dimension world, i.e. they can only move back and forth, an unmovable dot between them would prevent them meeting each other.

The solution is TWO dimension. If they know how to move in TWO dimesion (back/forth and left/right), they can move left or right to avoid the dot between them.

If a line put between them, they'd be in trouble again. They'd have no way to across the line in TWO dimension.

The solution is THREE dimension. They can fly above the line or go under the line with THREE dimension movement.

We human live in a THREE dimension world (back/forth, left/right and up/down). If you count time, we live in a FOUR dimension world. However our language is TWO dimensional: God/Evil, good/bad, blac/white, right/wrong...

The logic inside us is mostly TWO dimensional as result. Our TWO dimensional thinkings don't match the "reality".

How can we put THREE dimension into our language formally? I have no idea. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  9. Yep. I came to this same conclusion and decided not to chase after these kind of attainments. If you want to be good at something the most efficient way is not increasing intelligence but devoting yourself to training hard and keeping at it.

intelligence: the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations (from Marriam Webster dictionary).

Are you sure you want to discard your intelligence?

  10. "Opening the Energy Gates of Your Body" by B.K. Frantzis.

    Any feedback on it?

It basically teaches you zhan zhuang. It also contains breathing exercise, taoist three swing and spine stretch.

It's a good book. The only beef I have is that it says "never breath below your pubic bone". What a misleading statement!

  11. When it comes to training i never speculate. This is from expereince and lessons from the grandmaster.

Could you elaborate on "The tao guided movements of the form influence the clouds and sky"?

When you influenced the coulds and sky, could others see the same thing as you?

It'll be interesting to know. Thanks.

  12. The tao guided movements of the form influence the clouds and sky. The wuji in you is opening up your connecting to and starting to become a pure vessel of energy. The earth chi and sky chi is starting to merge. In that momment you are the virtue manifesting the real energy of the tao in that spot.

I'm curious to know if that's a personal experience or speculation? Thanks.

  13. I suck at visualization too. I can't even visualize a simple energy ball in my hands. I can only feel the ball.

I don't know if I should develop the visualization skill or simply forget about it.

I started with SSS kundalini book. It contains many excellent exercise to activate chakras. The "thin man" is very good.

The Secret of Golden Flower doesn't require visualization either.

  14. I've also read about taking a picture of a guru, gazing at it and 'memorizing' every detail and then closing the eyes and recalling the image as a bonified practice. You do that regularily for weeks until you can clearly see the whole picture in your mind's eye.

If I do that, I'd take a picture of myself. Why waste your precious mind on some "guru"?

Mayby a human skeleton picture works too. You can do skeleton meditation later on.

  15. I'm working on it. But the thing is that this exercise definitely takes time to fully control. The contraction part is hard to do from all over the body.

breath slowly to give yourself time.

I started doing section of body only. Front torso, back torso, whole torso, then torso+arms, then torso+arms+legs. I'm still working on my legs.

  16. chidragon, why don't you try the exercise instead of theorizing the yin-yang thing.

I don't know about others. But I like to read movie reviews from those who have actually seen the movie.

  17.

    More George Carlin

“The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating...

...and you finish off as an orgasm.”

George Carlin complained too early. He's got the right idea though.

The death feels even better than orgasm. Please keep it a secret. We don't people kill themselves left and right.

  18. The restaurant analogy is not quite right. You are not the customer and I am not the chef. You are the chicken and I am Colonel Sanders who gives meaning to your life.

Watch your words please. “Was it the forgetfulness of old age or personal incapacity that made the man able to say please but not thank you?”

“When the healthy pursuit of self-interest and self-realization turns into self-absorption, other people can lose their intrinsic value in our eyes and become mere means to the fulfillment of our needs and desires.”

  19. Healing energy does not 'reside' like a reservoir inside a body. To think so is self-deception.

    :)

    Exactly.

One never gain or loss any energy. It's just a conversion of one form to another.

The smart buddist monks figured that out a long time ago. From the Heart Sutra "It doesn't born or die, it can't be polluted or purified, it can't increase or decrease".

  20. . The first smart guy complained about eating raw meat and learned how to make fire. Now, billions with lower intelligence can look forward to barbecue parties on Memorial Day. Another smart guy complained about having to walk miles and miles to the next village and learned how to make the Boeing 747. Now, billions of bozos are strutting in airports flying from Chicago to Shanghai.

One small correction. It takes more than one guy's idea to fly a Boening 747 on the sky. A simple piece of metal is the result of million people effort through generations.

I'm a lazy guy. I'd rather be high on weed and have a good BBQ with family and friend. You seem to want to be the smart guy who's building the best BBQ equipment.

When you figure out how to make death more enjoyable, please make it happen. I'm too lazy to know the details. I'd rather be in customer enjoying my meal in a restaraunt. And thanking the chef who's bursting his ass in the hot kitchen.

  21. I look at the birds flying around, eating, mating. How'd it all get here? Why are there birds? Animals? People?

1 billion Christians would say one thing, 1 billion Muslims something else, 1 billion Hindus something else. They can't all be right, though.

    have.

Why not? Why can't we have a world that everyone is right?

We're in a physically 3 dimensional world. Why do we still think in black and white 2 dimensional logic?

There is nothing wrong with looking for power. What kind of power do you want? How do you plan to get it?
