  1. Absolutely not. Please explain why my argument is mysogynistic in your opinion. You surely can do that if your attack is not a blind lashing out driven purely by an irrational identification with the women involved just because they are women and you are one too. How moronic has one to be to believe that one progresses towards enlightenment when one performs physical sexual services for a buddhist guru? And what power are you talking about? Ridiculous! This guy had only the authority and power over these women which they fabricated and imaginated themselves in their own minds! Believing in tradition and lineage...? If that argument of yours is supposed to make any sense then you surely can quote widely established buddhist text sources which explicitly state that some beginner who is not an advanced and well prepared Tantra practitioner herself could achieve any spiritual development through performing sexual acts with a buddhist guru.
  2. These women practiced what many fools on thedaobums preach: They blindly believed in their guru and not in rational cognition! They are no victims as they do it to themselves by free choice. The women lied to themselves, therefore increased their state of delusion by free will and therefore created at least as much bad karma as their guru.
  3. What is Jing (essence) from a Taijiquan perspective? If Chi (energy) is "internal movement", then what is Jing (essence)? How can Jing (essence) be cultivated from a Taijiquan perspective and by using the Taijiquan principles? This thread is about Jing (essence), not about Jin (power).
  4. I see, some people simply can't resist the lower urges of their unrefined personality...
  5. BACK TO TOPIC, PLEASE! This thread is about the signs & effects of jing replenishment and how to achieve it! It is not about your moral views why it is right or wrong! Taoism is about becoming immortal and ultimately deified (light body), if this upsets you because you think that your personality is not worth to become deified and to exist forever, then you probably suffer of an inferiority complex and you should leave and focus on buddhist topics instead! Buddhist views are of no interest in this thread! If you follow an alleged "taoist" school that preaches to extinguish your personality or that reality is illusion, then you likely follow one of the many schools which were bastardized through buddhist influences and therefore lost its true essence (jing)! Views of such "taoist" schools are of no interest in this thread! Other threads might be a better place for your input, thank you! Wells
  6. In other words: - the physiological body first has to return to youth, otherwise reaching higher levels of immortality is impossible - the physiological body can become immortal and live forever - merging the physiological body with the spirit into a body of light is the highest level of immortality
  7. http://www.all-dao.com/immortality-achievements.html "[...] 2. Human immortal or immortal among people – Ren Xian ( 人仙 ) Actually – one is not immortal. Moreover, each man in his life passes through this period. This is the age of majority, the peak of the blossoming physiology. During this period people have especially sublime state (in a sense of fullness, activeness). If to start practicing alchemy in this period, it will be possible to quickly complete the second stage - the Earth immortal. If the time has passed and the energy dissipated, the old age and infirmity had come, it is necessary to return the body to this stage of physiology. Otherwise, it’s impossible to move on. Thus we see that this still is not immortality, but only achievement a high fullness of the primordial energy, ie Ming. 3. Earth immortal – De Xian ( 地仙 ) This is something that everyone understands as immortality - the immortality of living of physical body on Earth. Although such body can exist indefinitely on Earth, it can be destroyed by external destruction. Therefore, even this achievement was not considered high and all practitioners were seeking to rise further, considering it only as an intermediate stage. It is necessary to add that this achievement - is the ultimate goal of the external alchemy. However, in the previous phase and at this stage it is possible to perfect various qualities of your level, although it’s not the main way but the side paths. At this stage Ming merges with Xing in a one whole which is why the immortality is possible. Here is comes some similarity to the thermonuclear eternal engine in the body amidst Earth conditions. That’s why there are such capabilities. From this stage the achievements are irreversible in a way of returning transformation (the exception is the phase of Jen Xian where it’s easy to become an ordinary person again after having wasted Ming). But if due to external conditions or because of the body destruction the practice is not completed, it may be needed to revert to the previous level. [...] 5. Heaven immortal – Tian Xian ( 天仙 ) Let me remind you that even the previous stage can be stretched on endlessly. But the immortal spirit still has not-transformed body. Therefore there remains the possibility of realization of the highest stage which is possible on Earth according to alchemy - the transformation of this body in the body of light. This is the most difficult task because it requires about 9 -10 years of immobility. It should be provided either by faithful pupils and adherents, The Teacher, or by concealment by having immured in a cave according to certain rules. After its implementation the body and the spirit merge together in the "body" of light and when the achiever leaves the world nothing is left (except for remaining things as in case of with Bodhidharma’s shoe). If due to some reasons the practitioner does not reach the highest stage, he may either himself at his will or under certain circumstances "get rid of the corpse." Depending of the achieved level his left body may not be susceptible to decay but self-mummify or even burn from the inner fire."
  8. Taoist alchemy depends on the body and the final result is merging spirit and body into a body of light (celestial immortality). That's the true fusion of yin and yang.
  9. Back to topic: I want to emphasize that I am 100% convinced that there exists a primal taoist training method which is able to cultivate and accumulate jing (vitality, primordial essence) in a simple and direct way in your whole system. This method by itself is able to get you from level 0 all the way up to celestial immortality. My sole purpose is to get practical knowledge of this hypothetical method either through an outside source (school, teacher) or through successfully reverse-engineering it by myself and then to apply it successfully.
  10. I am not sure why you assume to possess the ability to assess that.
  11. You seem to have the belief to possess "common sense" and "wisdom". A belief which seems rather baseless, delusional and narcissistic to me. If you would possess common sense or wisdom, you would not try repeatedly in your arrogant way to patronize me (and most likely others too) what I should and what I shouldn't do.
  12. ....at least in the opinion of the willfully ignorant people (-> existing video evidence of John Chang, Jiang Feng, Shi Ming, etc.).
  13. The Taoist Classics: The Collected Translations of Thomas Cleary, part 2: "Without this energy, even if there are sperm and ovum they cannot make a being. So evidently the true energy of basic harmony is the root of the physical, the place where the body is born. As people receive this energy while yet unborn, it can produce being out of nonbeing, causing the body to grow and develop. So if you cultivate this basic energy today, why couldn't you prolong life, see eternity, escape constriction, and become spiritually transformed?" In other words: It's all about cultivating the basic prenatal energy (jing).
  14. Either vitality (jing) can be cultivated and accumulated or taoist immortals don't exist. It's as simple as that. I personally am convinced that taoist immortals exist.
  15. Becoming young again and transforming the body into light happen through building up and accumulating vitality (jing). Of couse these effects don't happen immedeately but towards the end of the process when a huge amount of vitality has been cultivated over an extended period of time. It is logical that the process for cultivating vitality is the same in the beginning as at the end of the alchemic process. It is also logical that the correct training for increasing vitality produces immedeate effects already in the beginning stages of the training (like the reversal of impotence in older men), otherwise it's not the correct method for cultivating vitality. I have been told that the correct training method has never been written down in any books or taoist texts, therefore people who only rely on such sources of course have no idea of these critical practices and even deny their existence although taoist books and texts contain hints to them. In other words: Willful ignorance and denial of that which is out of reach.
  16. "Spiritual Immortality" guys who can't burn up, excuse me, "refine" their jing fast enough back into emptiness, are like...
  17. Your jing is not "full". It was probably "full" when you were born and it is getting less every day since.
  18. As not everybody posting in this thread seems to have basic knowledge about the purpose of taoist practice, please read this essay first before further posting: http://www.all-dao.com/essence-taoist-alchemy.html
  19. Your question was already answered in this thread: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/45229-effects-and-signs-of-successful-jing-replenishment/?do=findComment&comment=784690
  20. The topic seems to be quite controversal. The reality is that people who claim that "inverting the course", "replenishing jing", "reversal of aging", "physical immortality", "daytime ascending" and "celestial immortality" are impossible claim that the classic taoist texts are lies and that the classic taoist authors are liars or fools. 50 years ago, most people on earth believed that man would never walk on the moon and that people who claimed different were liars or fools. Even today, some people still claim that man never walked on the moon. It's seemingly hard for many people to imagine the possibility of something that they have never encountered or experienced themselves.
