  1. There are 2 taoist internal alchemy cultivation diagrams, here are originals (copy from original):

    post-65472-130704734694_thumb.jpgpost-65472-130704747497_thumb.jpg

Here, through images reproduced schematically stages of perfection, as well as encrypted clarifications. I can only say that to understand and to discuss themmakes sense only to those who are seriously practicing Taoist alchemy.

  2. Hi GP,

Thanks for your comments. I think we all agree that a teacher is required.

It would also be better if we could show restraint in our criticism of the various schools of cultivation. This is especially true if we haven't actually studied their methods.

Hi tccii , you are right: "especially true if we haven't actually studied their methods."

I just said what told my teachers only (when was question about it) , they know this, because Zhao's teachings -a late branch from the Wu Liu Pai school.

Develop this question in the further or to argue about this absolutely not going.

Regardless of their strengths or weaknesses they exist because they helped someone at some point. The Buddhist say there are 84,000 expedient methods. Why? Because there are so many different types of people in the world.

    My teacher wrote:

... there are several thousands of such methods in Taoism and the ancient sages spoke of them as : “任他三千六百旁门九十六种外道法力变幻总于存理养炁 尽性了命之大道不同 – «The effectiveness of all other 3600 minor schools and 96 types of external ways is illusory, and they are absolutely not identical with the Great Tao, which contains the principles of nurturing of pre-heaven qi, the fulfillment of nature (Xing) and completion of destiny (Ming)”) have no access to the primordial energies of the body, also those methods are quite difficult and require a lot of time for everyday practice. The effect of such exercises is unstable and requires the regular maintenance and in case of even brief breaking off the result disappears fast.

More details of this basic difference between the true Taoist schools and their widespread imitations you may find in the “Wuzhen pian ( 悟真篇) ” tractate – «The chapters of insight in the Truth» of Zhang Boduan .

  3. Hi tccii! Thank you for the good describing and details about the Zhao Bi Chen and his book!

In any case, he made a big good for development the doctrine of Tao, especially since the book was translated into English, and then actually been one of few sources of Taoist alchemy for the West. That's why it's so popular.

But we do not must overestimate meaning this book, you are also noticed:

"This is not to say that it provides a complete description of Nei Dan (內丹) nor is it suitable as a practice guide without a teacher...Rather he intended the book to be a type of roadmap or check against which a student could measure what he learned from a teacher."

Also The Way Is Virtue correctly wrote: "...all people need to study this sort of practice under the guidance of an accomplished teacher, if one can find one and the teacher is willing to teach them."

  4. Zhao Bi Chen's method does seem to describe a method that primarily involves cultivating yuan qi (primordial qi). I am curious why you think that the method described in his book does not include the cultivation of yuan qi?

Hi The Way Is Virtue, Bi Chen's methods do not have full system to achive the alchemy goals and perfection in Tao.

To write his book he had used basically treatises of our Wuliupai School , that's why the book rather interesting and looks like competent. But the theory without a practice nothing really matter. The pupil must have a mentor or a Teacher who will give him real alchemy practice and will be teach him.

Thank you everybody for questions in the "Personal Practice Discussion",

    tommorrow I'll answer them.

  5. Stop taking acid and drugs! Only this can help you.

All your bad mood-because of the drugs. Our world is real and not an illusion.

To find what is the point of the existence, using this way and also thinking about "abstract" will lead absolutely to anything other than madness and crazy.

    Best Regards

  6. Can you explain the MING from the view of the school of Wu Liu Pai?

Hi Friend, MING -it's yuan qi or primordial qi, the battery in the body.

Since the level yuan qi is directly related with duration of our life, Ming - it's also a life or a destiny.

Ming practices - those practices which have a result in filling yuan-jing and primordial qi (create a real dan-tian and next higer stages).

Ming is a tangible real substance and it can be felt, given a perfected sensitivity. Ming can be replenished only by mastering the since Taoist alchemy (just to emphasize that, according to the records of our school, some other traditions also posses such an essentially identical method, ). Note that to "Die" in Chinese is written emphatically: 失命 i.e. LOST MING.

  7. One aspect of me wanted to be loving and kind. The other aspect of myself wanted to punish and hurt.

I couldn't figure out why I felt like I was suffocating, when these types of things arise in me. This has been an ongoing problem where parts of me want to be nice to me, and the other parts of me want to slaughter myself any way it can.

Hi InfinityTruth, yes it's two aspects in each human: Хing and Ming.

Xing is your nature, has a relation to your soul

Ming is your destiny, has a relation with you energy level and sordid desires.

In each human, these two streams are fighting whole life.

    -

Only Taoist alchemy can solve this problem.

  8. He says when he first learned of the practice, he wd practice the chi kung everyday like he practiced kung fu. He saw himself becoming really irritable and overly aggressive, etc. over time. Like in a couple weeks. Really mean and just like I guess 'excessively yang', and/or deficient in yin...

Now I see people on these forums say they practice qigong for multiple hours a day. My question is what types of qigong and meditation is this? Does that long duration of practice have a good use, or can it be destructive in a more longer term?

Are there any qigongs that are EFFECTIVE and that you can practice a lot?

    Hi Non,

Yes, qigong can cause troubles for your mind.
    - this can be often.

If the methods used qigong consciousness, visualization, and sitting meditation, it often leads to deviations.

Use consciousness (mind) and visualization can cause headaches, high pressure jumps. If in time do not stop and continue to practice these methods, it's possible go crazy.

It can also result in a strong imbalance of yin and yang in the body (like you wrote above), one of these events - "Entering the madness and roving fire". Perhaps the heat and roving fire, and burn a body from inside.

Here you can read the article about it: http://www.all-dao.com/madness.html

    (presented by the Wuliupai school)

May be the opposite, deviations toward a strong cold, it the capture the Yin energy of a body, then very quickly will be flow away a primordial qi and post-heavenly energy.

When sitting meditation yuan-qi and vitality can also be damage: http://www.all-dao.com/dazuo-meditation.html

Deviations in Qigong great multitude, and in the China, there are lot of patients who are treated from the results of incorrect practice of qigong.

  9. Hello all,

Too much vipassana has made my head hurt! Basically, at all waking hours (and sometimes in dreams), i have a fluxing set of very hard, solid-seeming, often-painful sensations in the center of my head. the focal point seems to be slightly behind the eyes, in the center of the eyes

Do you use intense concentration at some points (focus in the head)? Do you use some long sitting meditation? How many hours a day?

Either you are practicing not correctly, or (most probably) the practice itself is harmful and leads to such effects.

It is better immediately to stop this practice.

  10. I am interested to hear a summary of the book by Charles Luk

"Taoist Yoga, Alchemy and Immortality" which has a connection to the Wu Liu Pai.

Hi Friend, yes, one lines of transmission is the Xian-Tian Pai school, whose popularity stems because of the book by Zhao Bi-chen “Secrets of cultivation of Life and Destiny”. This book was translated into English by Lu K'uan Yu (Charles Luk) and published like “Taoist Yoga, Alchemy and Immortality”.

But the Wu-Liu Pai school does not recognize Xian-Tian Pai as preserving the full transmission.

Zhao Bi-chen's school is the latest branch the Wu Liu Pai school, and it did not maintain complete methods of dual cultivation Xing and Ming

Zhao Bi-chen lost the main method MING in practices (like many other Daoist schools)

Without the MING methods not possible to reach stages in alchemy higer a ghost-immortal - Gui Xian ( 鬼仙 ), so impossible perfection in TAO.

Ghost-immortal - the immortal among devils or the immortal devil. It was believed that this achievement is a characteristic of shamanic practices, the late Chan Buddhism, the pseudo-Taoism, different meditations. Withdrawal of Yin spirit. The practitioner remains mortal, despite the practice of spirit withdrawal and possible capabilities.

Moreover, he may not be reborn after his death and stay a ghost forever. This was not practiced in Taoism, it was forbidden (meaning the serious study, not just jingzuo).

  11. first of all not all tradition have the same concept of salvation. A christian saint, a zen awakened, a taoist immortal are not the same thing.

Earlier, in ancient time, all tradition had the same goal - achieving Immortal levels. So, a Buddha in Buddhism and an Immortal in Taoism - the same, different only words.

Also some traditions are incomplete. Like some martial arts school. They know what they know, the might have lost some. Still what they teach is valid. SO a meditation school might be able to teach you how to reach a sense of fulfillment. Or feeling one with nature. Or releasing past trauma. Expecting each meditation school to be able to teach all, is just an expectations begging to go unfulfilled.

So some meditation school will teach some things that others will not.

Yes, over time, all traditions went into decline and a lot of things had lost. And was lost the most important method - improving in the Tao (the methods Ming).

In Taoism from the neydan remained qigong, Buddhism remained pointless sitting meditation, a yoga- assan in every fitness center ...

Also remain rituals and philosophy, do not help in a perfection in the Tao.

  12. Oh, Dr. Lin found very good theme of how to earn much money.

If you want to get from the sexual practice a some thrill, I can not say anything.

But with respect of health this is not good - you yourself have noticed that you have the sensation of cold - it's mean that energy has left a vital place (genitals)

  13. Tell me more... :)

    Hi Rainbow_Vein,

we have several cases of very strong improving health of sick with diabetes , when practice the method JIUYANGSHENGONG of the Wuliupai school of Taoist alchemy. The first improvement effect appears very fast, and rises after practice every day.

    Here is the describe: http://www.all-dao.com/jiuyangshengong.html

A doctor of Chinese medicine has also confirmed that it should be.

The immune system increases and strengthens because of this practice where use the mechanism of moving primordial qi:

"Where practitioners have illnesses, there is a barrier to blood flow and qi and own true-qi (chzen-qi) naturally goes there for liquidation of such barrier. As soon as passage of barrier has been restored, the channels and organs will start to function normally and the illness will disappear by itself.

As soon as the qu mechanism of movement of the previous heaven commences, the state of imbalance of the physiological functions will immediately acquire the adjustment, and after the work is completed the practitioners will feel multiple improvements of health and comfort and what has been tested by centuries-old experience..."

  14. How To Improve or Heal Your Immune System?

    Hi Leon ,

Very good increases and strengthens Immune system practice of Taoist alchemy. Also, some methods of Qigong. However, good schools very difficult to find.

Correct Taoist practices have side effects in processing sugar-glucose in our body. For example they are good helps those who are sick with diabetes- until complete recovery (we had such cases).

For the treatment of allergies - I would recommend you consult a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, but also look for him better. Chinese medicine is a very good job with such problems.

    Best Regards,

    Denis

  15. This is no Problem when the channels are free and the points are open.

Yes, if channels are working free it's very good,

    but if

gathering heavenly energy into the head [/ quote] it can be big problem, because this energy in the head it can raise blood pressure or cause various Glucks and it's not fact that it will go down farther in the body.

Moreover, this postheaven energy is not able affect the creation of a true Tantien in any way.

Absolutely there is no any way to create a true (or real) dan-tien except Taoist alchemy (neydan)
