  1. I too am interested in the 'spiritual' heart.

Ramana Maharshi says that before waking we rest in our heart until the "I" thought shoots up to the head via the amrita nadi within a split second upon waking. This spiritual heart also known as the hridaya is on the right side of the chest.

Devotee: "Should I meditate on the right chest in order to meditate on the Heart?"

Bhagavan: "The Heart is not physical. Meditation should not be on the right or the left. It should be on the Self. Everyone knows "I am". It is neight within nor without, neither on the right nor the left: "I am" - that is all".

    See: http://www.beezone.com/AdiDa/KneeofListening/study_amrita_nadi.html

I think the sufi's call it akhfa.

    See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lataif-e-sitta

I was able to experience a fire in the right heart which lasted a few days within minutes of skyping with this guy: ramaji.org

So I know it is definitely there.

I would like to find a practicing sufi in my area (Melbourne) who I can learn from.

  2. Here we go :

    '...

What he said was this : the palce where he was standing was center . Each one of us possesed a center that he had grown away from after the birth .To be born is to loose contact with our center, and to grow from childhood to adulthood is to walk away from it.

The center is both within and without . It is everywhere . But we must realize it exists , find it , and be with it, for withot center we cannot tell who we are , where we came from and where we are going.

    ...

Nones centre is like someone elses . Find your own center , not center of your neighbours , not center of your mother and father...

    '

Than he goes on explaining how humans are both circle and its center , and how when there is circle there is 4 live parts to the circle . Rising part east and north , the setting part west and south . Setting part represents water and rising part fire .

What interesting he mentiones in fire part is :

'...the fire is a rope that links us with our real home that we abondaned when we died into being human . We leave our real homes to come into this life , but there is nothing wrong with this ...'

What a concept of dieng into being human ! Love it .

Anyway thats all for now .

Interesting.. I'm drawing parallels to the sun and it's cycles and astrology.. just like the sun's home is in the fire sign leo the lion heart, maybe our home too is in fire of the treasure chest of the heart

  3. Why is it that most of the people preaching to give up desires and "go within" are old men?

If satisfaction lies inside, why do we bother to reproduce? Without desires there is no life?

    Maybe i'm unclear about something.

Sorry.. a bit of context.. I had just watched this video by Eknath Easwaran

  4. The pineal gland is very interesting, I once had a lot of energy going through there and what I experienced was something like nonduality. Identification with my body specifically my face dropped away such that there is a viewing, eating and smelling apparatus on the face but there's nobody personal there. I rarely had to blink.

There was another experience where the energy was so concentrated that I could look directly at the afternoon sun.. I didn't sleep that night haha

I also recently had an experience where upon focusing on the pineal gland my vision became glazed with a white light.

    Stuff like that.

  5. The problem with people who dismiss it all is that a lot of the New Age thought derives from authentic knowledge and practice, so a lot of what they practice will be genuine and useful, the problem being its also mixed up with bullshit and con artists also. I have found through my own experience that some of the things which look like fiction can be the most powerful so I am more open minded these days to it all.

Take bashar for example. You don't have to believe that an ET is talking through him to appreciate the stuff he says, I find some of it to be thought provoking and easily applied to daily life.

  6. Greetings..

No, you cannot see where i'm coming from.. you are still attached to beliefs and depend on dead words.. i'm interested in what is actually happening, and you've demonstrated no interest in that, yet...

No.. still your own mind and prove it to yourself.. i've shared what i intended to share, and you've stated your conditioned biases..

Yes, i do know what stillness is.. it's 'still', even in the midst of chaos..

No, no flashbacks.. and, my experience with "energetics" is not something to be 'evaluated' by you or for you.. you need to do your own work..

Other beings or planes?? tell us more about this belief..

How can i show you anything, you already believe you know it all, and you see Life through the lens of your beliefs.. 'you' have to 'let it go', there's nothing i can do for you.. it's amazing what can be seen when you're not looking 'for something', just look and see what 'is'.. it is apparent that you find my sharing to be of value, you are interested enough to rummage through past posts and other threads,.. relax, my words are simple and non-threatening, my only intention is clarity,. nothing i say is true because i say it, it only becomes 'true' if you 'believe' it is.. stop 'believing', and pay attention.. it's not important that my words be 'true', it's important that my words inspire others to see/experience clarity for themselves, rather than to be told, conditioned, or coerced into believing what others believe..

Still the mind and see/experience what 'is', rather than what you think or believe 'is'..

    Be well..

TzuJanLi, your words remind me of Robert Adams.

"There is a way for a person to awaken, and that way is to stop thinking. Stop thinking. He says that sounds good, but how do you do it? When the mind becomes quiescent, quiet, still, realization comes all by itself. There is absolutely nothing you have to do to bring it about.

As an example, the sun shines all by itself. Let's call the sun the Self, consciousness, pure awareness. Yet every once in a while, clouds form beneath the sun. And the sun doesn't seem to shine any longer.

Your thoughts are the clouds. Whatever you think, no matter what you think about, as long as you think, you're covering up the sun, which is the Self. It makes no difference what you're thinking, good thoughts, bad thoughts, or any kind of thoughts. All thoughts are clouds, all thoughts. And they cover up the sun. So it is your true nature, is the Self. You're really the Self, all-pervading, reality. It is your thoughts that cover up the Self. Whatever you allow what you think, you cover up the Self more and more and more. You're only covering up the Self.

The Self will shine all by itself when you stop thinking. Stop thinking, totally, unconditionally. Stop thinking. "

    ~ Robert Adams

  7. maybe try plant medicine, I had a lot of success with ayahuasca to rid of candida. It pretty much cleared out my issues in the GI tract, of course diet is important too. Work out what are the best foods for you body, usually vegetables and fruits.

In terms of energy healing, I have had experiences of feeling energetically full and elevated from others channeling chi and what not. It lasts temporarily then I'm back to normal haha.

I have also tried healers who work on the subconscious level (holographic, muscle testing), such techniques had the most success. I didn't experience anything straight away, but the same night when I went to sleep I would have what I think is a processing of karma. I was shown demons and I would face them without fear.

I used to experience anxiety (fast beating of the heart, shallow breathing) in some social situations and after that night it was gone. That was using the LifeLine Technique. As with many of these techniques there's no guarantee you will experience results and I'm pretty impatient, if nothing happens after the first session I won't have another one.

But yeah.. I think since you have GI tract troubles ayahuasca is my recommendation. I suggest you read up about it and see if it's right for you.

  8. hey guys, somewhat related, I feel what I can only describe as an anxiety in the center of my hands and feet. Come to think of it, it feels like a foot and hand orgasm only that it doesn't stop so I find it really uncomfortable.

Would this be because the energy channels there are open or not open enough or closed?

  9. I often concentrate on my upper dantian, which is near the pineal gland, and I notice that my jaw is always being forced open, as if my mouth is full of energy.

My jaw constantly feels like it's being forced open, something I did not experience at all prior to when I first began to study qigong (a few years ago). I thought that it was a positive sign--that qigong and meditation practices have been successful--steadily restoring my generative force over the past few years.

Maybe it's all the energy reaching that area that's causing the jaw to open. The jaw can hold a lot of tension and a tight jaw can affect other parts of the body so I've heard - there's actually a technique that helps with releasing jaw tension (http://www.mkndc.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=20&Itemid=20) I also notice sometimes when I reach an "altered state" my jaw opens very wide and i yawn deeper than usual taking in large amounts of air.

  10. That's former defense minister of Canada. Funny thing, I watched this yesterday and did some reading up on aliens and watched some videos by bashar. Last night what happens? I have this dream of being abducted, a ship appeared but I realised I didn't have to go in for something to happen, there was a drilling sound at the back of my head as though i was being adjusted. Then I woke up what i thought was my bed but instead was in another dream (inception? lol) with my pineal gland about to burst causing me to open my jaw very wide. Some other stuff happened but I don't know what to make of it.
