  1. there is a big difference between stating the obvious and knowing the obvious?

One should keep to the later to avoid all the skeptics?

"I believe the most unique characteristic of Bhagavan was the power of his presence. In Bhagavan we found a being that was surcharged with the Reality to such an extent that coming into his presence would effect a dramatic change in us. This Divine Power of his presence was something remarkable, entirely outstanding in this century. But why just this century? It must be so for many centuries."

Starting with a Maha Reishi because "presence is an experience constantly over washed by expectation and values of the ego. No doubt after he was found in the dessert and others heard of his remarkable presence a following began.

Is divine presence some how less remarkable than levitation?

    More believable?

Is your own ability to sense "divine presence" less impressive than to levitate?

Understanding what 'divine' in this context (god) means.

Sensing divinity as presence is a subtlety far beyond the scope of any skeptic

    Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba

"Some time ago, when we went to a new settlement in the country, we saw seven or eight laborers trying in vain to lift a huge tree stump. My father stood looking at it for a while and then asked them to step aside so he could try it. He lifted the stump easily and promptly carried it away. It is totally inconceivable to do such a thing with mere physical strength. Also there was an incident involving a certain Mihamahiro.

B: Was he the same Mihamahiro of Takasago Beya Sumo Wrestling Association?

O Sensei: Yes. He was from Kishu Province. When I was staying at Shingu in Wakayama, Mihamahiro was doing well in the Sumo ranks. He had tremendous strength and could lift three rods which weighed several hundred pounds. When I learned Mihamahiro was staying in town, I invited him to come over. While we were talking Mihamahiro said, "I've also heard that you, Sensei, possess great strength. Why don't we test our strength?" "All right. Fine. I can pin you with my index finger alone," I answered. Then I let him push me while I was seated. This fellow capable of lifting huge weights huffed and puffed but could not push me over. After that, I redirected his power away from me and he went flying by. As he fell I pinned him with my index finger, and he remained totally immobilized. It was like an adult pinning a baby. Then I suggested that he try again and let him push against my forehead. However, he couldn't move me at all. Then I extended my legs forward, and, balancing myself, I lifted my legs off the floor and had him push me. Still he could not move me. He was surprised and began to study Aikido.

A: When you say you pin a person with one finger, do you push on a vital point?

O Sensei: I draw a circle around him. His power is contained inside that circle. No matter how strong a man he may be, he cannot extend his power outside of that circle. He becomes powerless. Thus, if you pin your opponent while you are outside of his circle, you can hold him with your index finger or your little finger. This is possible because the opponent has already become powerless."

Many films were made of O'sensei doing impossible things. There was never an attempt to hide or to

    seem acceptable by any standard.

    Great post. :D

  2. http://www.space.com/11113-supermoon-science-nasa-explanation.html

So, we have leading NASA scientists saying supermoon had nothing to do with the earthquake.

We have an astrologer Richard Nolle who predicted the major earthquake because of the

    supermoon.

Was it a lucky coincidence? If so, perhaps lightning strikes twice? Because the supermoon 2005 was very close(date) also to the Indonesian 9.0 earthquake which also had a great tsunami.

My thoughts continue to be with the Japanese people.

  3. Depends how deep you want to get..... The big references are always good to have:

    Materia medica - Bensky

    Chinese medical herbology - Chen

And then just about anything written by Bob Flaws. I'd look through his offerings either at amazon or blue poppy and see if any of the titles interest you.

I will second about Bob Flaws. The first book of his I read was Chinese medicinal wines and elixirs. I also like Thomas Joiner, Michael Tierra.

IF anyone has James Ramholz Shaolin and Taoist formulas book available, let me know.

  4. ""I have already mentioned the Torus or toroidal vortex many times in my other articles, and so in regard to the central position of the thalamus in the head, it is not surprising that we find a connection between the thalamus and the Torus. The following is from the Webster Dictionary:

    Thalamus:

    1. A mass of nervous matter on either side of the third ventricle of the brain; called also optic thalamus.

    2. Same as Thallus. The receptacle of a flower; a torus. [3]

Thankyou so much for your generous sharing of knowledge. Your private messages to me and also to a friend of mine have been very insightful.

  5. I saw this a few days ago. The moon is closer then usual, but mathematically the gravitic pull increase is negligible. A scientist interviewed dismissed the idea it would have any effect.

Still math be damned its closer and there was a devastating earthquake. Could be a coincidence.

A similar coincidence happened in 2005 with the indonesian 9.0 earthquake happened a few days before that supermoon.

Also that year we had hurricane Katrina. It seems that the supermoon's influence lingers the better part of the year in the form of severe weather.

Today's events are not over yet either. Luckily tide was out on the west coast USA or it coulda been much worse.

  6. Hehehe. Yes, but you are also wrong. Can't have one without the other.

I have said that somewhere myself. I know it sounds course but that's life. Even evolution sometimes leads to extinction.

:ninja: In 99.99% of the time extinction will happen. So i agree that sometimes it will happen.

  7. In 2005 there was the 9.0 Indonesian earthquake.

1992 The Mississippi river flood. 1974 There was the largest tornado attack ever recorded.

With numerous F4 and F5 on that day.

This upcoming supermoon will also be a full moon.

Previous it was thought the events would be in a +/- 3 days of the supermoon. This one has been considered to be extra strong.

My thoughts are with Japan and also for those in Hawaii and the West coast.Everyone be safe.

  8. Any ideas or knowledge about this "super moon"?

As the moon makes a close orbit around the earth, some predict natural disasters.

1955,1974,1992,2005 had super moons and also had extreme weather conditions that wreaked havok.

This supermoon is supposed to be extra strong .

  9. Thank you for mentioning about that.

I heard the Dalai Lama say their people are descended from a half monkey and half

hominid race and I think it was the same race that built a bridge across the ocean which sounds like Hanuman. It would make sense him being born in a cave and association between divine feminine and masculine. Oh wait, now I remember, there is a thunder god with wings and monkey face akin to Thor and some of the Thai gods in appearance. Maybe there' a connect between precipitation of the high planes, thunder and subterranean water drift to caves/resonance chambers and formation of crystals?

What patterns forms a permanent torus?

I read a little and Hanuman is connected with thunder though in Indian sculpture I saw no thunder symbols.

That would make him an off world'r monkey race that achieved Thunder Deity status, which mean he was practicing a form of thunder breathing.

So, what is the Nath form of thunder breathing?

Thank you for the reply. I will look into the torus and the nath. I have done a wee bit of thunder breath, very basic to where I visualized thunder clouds around me.

Having the breath somewhat audible. My guess is nath is yogic ,but i will do the google thing. There are many limestone caves here in my neck o' the woods.

  10. Li Ching-Yuen. That's my answer to that simple question.

I would say that Li Ching-Yuen either mastered longevity or while he was wandering out in the mountains searching for herbs....happened across a very old ginseng root and consumed it. This is just wild speculation on my part. I do also speculate that while out in the mountains He may have encountered Immortals.
