  1. How about cultivating LDT in two different systems at one time. This is general question, but to illustrate it with real world example better, say we have one system with sitting meditation (sitting with zen mudra) then there is another one with same position but different breathing (eg. breathing percentages like in Sunn Yee Gong or Flying Phoenix) or with different mudra. Are the effects cumulative, complementary or independent (ie. you end up with two fields of different energies)? Effects as in a ) energy that can be used to heal others b ) energy to open own energy system

  3. Gift of the Tao II Neigong Movements

I remember a part about bubble shield, if that's it.
  4. IMHO © 2001-2006 means that it was written and subsequently ammended in 2001-2006 not that the copyright ends in 2006 (also copyright notice is not required in many countries, likely including US: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_notice ) my last post on copyrights in this thread I promise Lukman Surjana the author has an account here: http://thetaobums.com/user/101783-lukman-surjana/ (if it's actually him)
  5. They seem to have been removed, except this one: Taoist Tea Ceremony http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/12814862 Tying in the Tibetan and Taoist spiritual & medical qigong seminar with the Tibetan Taoist mudra seminar, we will show the way that the five elemental aspect of taoist tea ceremony is used to heal and balance. The science and art to the rituals on tea ceremony which are ultimately for transformation and healing.
  6. I don't know what for docs you have, this is about docs on Scribd. You said "I will post the links to the Tridaya later. There is no copyright in the three docs." and I'm saying these three docs you posted link to are copyrighted, that's all (I'm not even bothered by it and copyrights are none of my business. Just that these three were copyrighted.) Btw. if something is posted on Scribd, it doesn't mean that copyright laws are followed. Anyone can post anything on Scribd, and maybe the situation is better than years ago when it was full of pirated material, but there is still pirated material available there that's not posted by the authors. (I have just quickly checked and just Qigong Empowerment book can be found there in several copies, or Bagua manuals from Frantzis' very expensive online program.) Yes Scribd will follow copyright laws in terms that if a copyright owner will request removal they'll likely comply. Like torrent and file sharing sites do too anyway.
  7. It's definitely copyrighted.
  8. Amazon might be good for mainstream practices, but rather use Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=tridaya+inner+power+lukman
  9. Sifu Chris Matsuo

Purely speculation on my side, but could be due to copyright issues with Jin Shin Jyutsu term. He might have learnt from both lineages and skipping copyright related troubles by not refering to the other one. The DVD offers some slight variations and differences over what is found in the book, and some helpful tips that are perhaps common sense for an experienced practitioner of qigong and similar but might boost the practice a bit for some and are not touched upon in the book (I'm not including them below, but things like touching naked shoulder instead of covered, relaxing spine or better even laying down to feel the flow stronger, things like that). and of course a lot of talk about underlying psychological aspects of the holds and mudras. As for the variations I noted: - for the diagonal mediator flow which he calls fatigue flows instead, besides knees together, he also uses heel against knee, and additionally does holding on same sides too - for the main flow he uses a point more towards throat than sternum (than shown in the book) and talks about throat chakra - places hand on navel or second chakra, which is an extra step (not included in the book in main flow coverage) - there are 8 mudras, but different: he does finger pose 4 a bit differently, skips fp 5 and fp 8 and uses different mudras instead, and for fp7 he has two variations - as already mentioned, at the start of the workshop he has another mudra, to build up energy, and also a variation of it (which is more yang), and breathing through the central channel. I have found this part fairly worthy, but then I found a couple of Jinshin book mudras fairly worthy too, that's an individual thing - what's helpful for one might be useless for others. That's after a quick skim of video, relatively uninformed take on differences as I have no clue about full Jin Shin method as taught by lineage holders and certified teachers, just have the Touch of Healing book and used and read only parts of it for self-help (it's a fantastic book, and has so much more covered than dvd - which on the other side isn't meant to be teaching on Jin Shin but on fatigue flows so that's understandable).
  10. Forget fascinating stories about others' travels to other universes. Work on your own story from the ground up, keeping at least one foot firmly in this world. Listen to your heart more than to the strangers on the internet. I also found this part of Drew Hempel's account interesting: "So then I went up to Chunyi Lin and asked him what I should do. ...snip... Hetold me to "keep my mouth shut" -- which I took as a mysterious and funny Ch'an command. It was said with seriousness yet was vague. I said you mean when I'm meditating? He said yes. Then I realized that in fact I had been keeping my mouth open slightly when meditating. But I understood that he also meant to stop talking about meditation to other people."

  12. Indonesia "Dragon"

Actually it has been found the scorched plots were a result of a magical battle of two members of not-to-be-named nei kung sects and the two deserted researchers are predicted to have their dantians filled to about 50% by this time already.
  13. DGS's Dizzying DVD Collection

I might be wrong in my assumption but if you have the Kuji method from Lao Xie I'd check directly with him.
  15. best qigong program?

there are a lot of threads on "best qigong" you can use the site search function or google: https://www.google.com/search?q=best+qigong+site%3Athetaobums.com&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 the thing is where are you coming from and what kind of qigong are you looking for, what are your goals with it 10 essential qigong exercises from Jenny Lamb, Flying Phoenix Qigong and the qigongs from Warrior Body Buddha Mind, online Stillness Movement course offered in Jan/Feb by Michael Lomax, qigongs by Bruce Franzis, Christopher Matsuo, or you can do internal martial arts for similar purposes, then there are likely tens if not hundreds more some are to develop specific energy, some martial, some spiritual, medical,..... best one is the one that you'll enjoy doing
  16. Mind Light Nei Kung Vs Glenn Morris KAP

IMHO they have very little in common ... both include MCO as part of curriculum.
  17. As turtle shell says. IMHO it's not what you need but what you should avoid. I took KAP course a couple years back but I know nothing really, 'knowledge' doesn't count here much anyway.... Your best bet is to consult with someone who has the knowledge and experience and is capable of teaching/helping others with kundalini, Seth Ananda from this forum or the KAP teachers come to mind, I don't know much about others.
  18. That feels more like fighting kundalini than grounding. Being grounded is a state where you can stand strong qi flows more easily, not where you force those qi flows down.
  19. KAP vs Hoshin Tao chikung

KAP 1 is a loose set of teachings (in terms that every teacher does it differently) and base techniques (like the secret smile that Santiago posted here couple years ago) towards kundalini awakening. Most likely some of the techniques in Hoshin Tao or Meditation Mastery will be found in KAP, ie. there is some overlap for sure. Santiago is very busy and he is teaching one on one basically. You can try to contact Tao, he used to teach through webcast all attendees at once, so one more student doesn't necessarily mean more time spent for him. Btw. search all posts of vajrasattva on thetaobums, it's a goldmine for what KAP is. You can figure a lot from that and the cds you got.
  20. What you actually wrote is "In 2004, there were rumors".... (but then again, by common agreement the word 'rumors' can be skipped in TTP MP threads so all is fine)

  22. Random floater ads

Did you try the Spybot or AVG as suggested above? Or Malwarebytes free version. It's likely something easily detectable by most antivirus/antimalware programs.
  23. Tin Yat Taoism

I only have three questions. According to the Bad Paths scripture (located on Chi in Nature website) authored by the Tin Yat â„¢ co-founder aka "cheerful and friendly 100% truly pure Taoism Master who hates evils" (and who is offering "100% effective with no side effects" services, that quite caught my interest), Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Bon Po and Hinduism (and tens of others) are all completely evil. Is Tin Yat â„¢ the only path that could possibly save me, or are there some paths that passed the scrutiny so far and that Tin Yat lineage accepts as non-evil if not equal? For those that can't afford long travel to Ontario at this time, can you as a Tin Yat â„¢ student offer some tips on how do they recognize real "100% truly pure Taoism Master" from all those available where they live? Is Mak Jo Si just a master or actually a celestial master (given his email address is celestialmastermak)?
