Au contraire, c'est moi qui vous remercie! Dark dreams cannot conceive it's certain lightness.
  3. Do you trust Daniel Reid health advice ?

Also, he has a past illness weakness to consumption (TB), also from the spirit (deleted).
  4. Do you trust Daniel Reid health advice ?

I'm saying he has energetic weaknesses to starvation from his spiritual experiences. This is not just based on how he looks either. We are body, mind, and spirit. When I tuned into him I felt the weaknesses. This partially explains why he's so into fasting and emphasizing food and diet. Again, not saying there's anything wrong with that or his advice (I haven't read the book so what the heck do I know about it, right?!) When I want to know if something is true or not, I use my 'feeling' of strong and weak (not emotions). It's kind of like a built-in truth or BS detector. Everyone has this it's just mostly numbed out or covered up with thinking and emotions.
  5. damn kundalini at it again

Sounds like you are angry and frustrated. Gallbladder and liver meridians, too much yang energy rising from the liver. Instead of blaming 'Kundalini' why not find out what's making you so angry?
  6. Do you trust Daniel Reid health advice ?

He also has a lot of spiritual experiences of starvation, of not getting enough to eat, and of fasting. It's easy to fast when there's nothing to eat, lol. I'm not suggesting there's anything wrong with fasting either.
  7. changing the world

Strengthen yourself to limitations from your spiritual experiences and your ancestors. Also, the collective consciousness of human beings putting limitations on each other. That should give you some neutrality to wanting to change things. Mind you, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with things changing. Life would be pretty boring if everything was the same all the time!
  8. changing the world

It doesn't make you evil or unspiritual. You might take a look at history and the people that 'tried to change the world' and what came out of that. "Dictators and disciples" comes to mind, a great book if you haven't read it. You could examine why you want to change the world. What it is that bothers you about how the world is right now. Find all the things that bother you, neutralize them and then see what's left. Change is happening all the time, we just don't see it. That's not to say one can't 'picture' a better world for everyone, but that's not quite the same as 'wanting to change things'. Also, there is much weakness around 'zealotry' and people wanting things to change. History pretty much says it all when it comes to 'zealotry' (people getting their way) and where that leads. Wanting the world to fit with our thoughts or ideas of 'how they should be' is more or less insanity.
  9. 400 Words on the Gold Elixir

"This impersonal center is found in all people." A location that has no location! and this: "It contains the impulse of life, the incipient wellspring of potential." A subtle and impersonal spark or wish to live. Thank you, this has been magnificent!
  10. 400 Words on the Gold Elixir

To clarify, this was a 'rhetorical' question (about water) for the sake of the discussion. Meaning, the question is posed as a means of expanding on the discussion of the alchemical process.
  11. 400 Words on the Gold Elixir

If I were addressing a Taoist Sage, I might ask: "How does one go about becoming more like water, without clinging to practices and forms?" Edit: removed the mixed metaphor!
  12. 400 Words on the Gold Elixir

It is the Secret of the Golden Flower. These three things are not derivative of anything. My teacher had a way of putting it. It is no different. He would say that when you see things as they really are, when sexual energy goes up the spine and into perception, you REALIZE, and steal the light. This is gathering the potential, turning the light around, and being ESSENCE. There is nothing to posses. it happens in the blink of an eye. It is the skill that nobody has.
  13. Does anyone here grow some of their own food?

We have raised beds in the front yard (where we replaced our lawn) for growing. More bed space in the back yard for the herb garden. And now more space in front, where my wife has created some space in the ground. I agree about growing stuff in pots, it's easy and they are portable. Personally, I find growing from seed to be a PITA (melons and cucurbits are easier). I only do it if I can't find a small starter plant at our local herb/veggie nursery. We had a lot of fun with the lettuce and kale this year. Made many veggie pies with the kale, they are yummy!
  14. 400 Words on the Gold Elixir

Being a dwelling for essence. Turning the light around. Gathering the potential.
  15. The method of Alchemy, according to Liu I Ming

可 以 為 精 舍 You are able to become a dwelling for essence. Yes, by turning the light around!
  16. Well, I would first delete all the past experiences (warrior) around being traumatized and traumatizing others. Punching, kicking, and cutting off other people's junk (and losing body parts in general). Then delete all the weakness around having to atone for the past and even out the energy with all the spirits on the receiving end.
  17. alright Jeff

And for you Jeff, judgment is a weakness for your ancestors (as well as 'not/having the last word'). When we connect to our insight instead of our thinking, there is no misunderstanding or judgment.
  18. alright Jeff

Just to be clear, strengthening and deleting a weakness (or even finding a weakness) is not judgment. When there is judgment, there is no neutrality. And just because we have weaknesses, that doesn't make us weak as human beings. Bob, you can change the thread name and congratulate Jeff all you want, but that won't resolve your weakness around attacking, insulting, and lording it over others.
  19. alright Jeff

People's understanding of Buddhism is weak, yes, emphatically so. Nobody avoids karma by defending concepts of anything (including honor). Defending is just more clinging, grasping, and dwelling.
  20. alright Jeff

Ah yes, well, I'm not talking about belief or what people 'think' is honesty. Being honest means seeing things for what they really are without lying, pretending, or obfuscating. For example, if I step back and ask why 3bob even brought this up, it's because he has weaknesses around not having any honor (his spiritual experiences and his ancestors), and weaknesses around violence and traumatizing others (his ancestors too). I mean look at the words he uses "razor's edge" and "trigger finger" (it's all cutting and shooting karma from the past). The 'difficulty' you mention is really with 'honesty, lying, and manipulating'. So while we can all go round and round on the merry-go-round of conceptual thinking, it's more useful to address the weaknesses. There is a use for dialogue, but if there's no common language or agreement on terms upfront, then it's all pretty pointless—not amounting to not much more than spinning our mental wheels.
  21. alright Jeff

What if honor simply means being honest or truthful with oneself. This is really what cuts through the karma like a hot knife through butter. And then there's no need to 'mentally masturbate' over concepts.
  22. Why I don't discuss religion

The only thing I saw in the cave was light without form. I asked, "What are you?" It said, "I am you. I can do anything, be anything, and go anywhere." Seeing that it was me but I am not it.
  23. Seeing

So not knowing is really knowing without knowing. And just this is seeing!
  24. Mike, this is the very definition of not getting it. The point is to awaken to your essence or what you are down deep. There's nothing wrong with getting laid and being social but it has nothing to do with spirituality or being what you are on the inside. The problem with 'being on top' is there's alway someone or something waiting in the wings to knock you down. Now, if you aim to be a complete human being and give up all this greasy kids stuff, that's something else entirely.
  25. Three pages of advice and not one mention of 'mother,' 'father,' or 'therapy'. Now that's pretty amazing. The foundation for all of your relationships with women starts with the mother (and all mother's from the past). The solution is to resolve your karma with your mother, all mothers, and all women, including all past wives, lovers, and friends. As long as we are slaves to our past, we are doomed to repeat it. Remember what Merlin said to King Arthur in Excalibur (the movie): "It is the doom of men that they forget." Karma is meant to be resolved, not re-lived over and over again.
