  1. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

Adults?!? Why... I've never been so insulted in my life!
  2. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

MorePieGuy became MPG and then ThunderGooch. When ilovecoffee talks about "our group," he is referring to the coterie of MorePieGuy admirers (acolytes? whatever) on another "top secret" web forum.

I would suggest that there are many different "ways that work" and that there are many different objectives towards which these different ways aim. Additionally, I would suggest that the ways which aim towards similar objectives do not all "fit" an individual's current state of being exactly the same, and that they are not identical in terms of efficiency, either. Different strokes for different folks, as the saying goes. This is why so many systems urge an exploring practitioner to practice a new system exclusively, practice it every day, and practice it for a significant period of time -- often in the 100 day range -- to get an idea of what the system is really about and whether it is a good fit.

ilovecoffee has a PPF but he doesn't choose to use it for that purpose. MorePieGuy did, too, IIRC. He also spent more time on this forum attacking others than posting about his "personal practice."

That's not a double bind, ralis. If you feel his fascination with other men's ejaculations and with the orgasms of young girls is perfectly reasonable, more power to you!

Thank you! See, details do matter after all. Hope you don't mind but I'm going to paste that quote here for future reference:

LMAO If you say so... Seems to me, however, that there might be some significant difference between, say, a person who joined this forum after asking on another forum whether TheDaoBums is worth visiting and a person who, perhaps, was a member of the Management Team and simultaneously posting on another forum about a covert effort to infiltrate said Management Team and replace it from within with operatives from that other forum. Just as a hypothetical scenario, mind you. Details matter, you see. Specifics matter. Of course, you are free to believe as you wish and no one (from this side of the fence, anyhow) is forcing you to participate here. <shrug> You are free to leave if you feel you are being abused or repressed. I know I wouldn't waste my time someplace I felt I was being abused or repressed.
  8. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

    LOL Of COURSE it matters!
  9. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

What, exactly, did that person say? And on which other forum? Details matter, you see. I might also ask, what was that person's role on this forum at the time and has that person posted here since then?
  10. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

You have quite a fascination with other people's ejaculations and orgasms. Perhaps you should consider talking to someone about this.
  11. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

You do continue saying that, don't you...
  12. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

Yeah, honestly, I think it is. Sadly so. One of the people I am thinking of is truly a troll in the classic sense but with an odd crusader ideology/pathology going on. The others seem totally sincere in their persecution complexes. Strangely, these birds seem to be flocking together (and they, not surprisingly, gain moral support & encouragement from some predictable corners).
  13. My family (parents, siblings, local aunts, uncles and cousins, etc.) were always very much this way -- you might call out a loud "Hello?" as you opened the door and walked in. My wife found it totally foreign -- she would really prefer several days notice.
  14. The Problem With The Forum Admin...

Seems to me that you have been talking shit about the forum's management team for days now and yet the oppressive action you rail against hasn't happened. You aren't alone in this... how shall I put it? ...this misguided crusade. ("This is what I've been talking about -- come see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!!!") We currently have several posters who seem to see repression hiding behind every tree -- one of them has been prophesizing his own unwarranted permaban for months now and, try as he might, he just can't seem to pull it off. Most curious part, I think, is that these posters' language patterns even start to resemble each other -- and I mean beyond the predictable victimhood rhetoric. It is quite remarkable.
  15. Yeah, I don't think it was meant to be one in my case, either. Didn't bother me much, though...
  16. I was typing when you posted, WuDao. I think your words are helpful. I know many people who seem perpetually dissatisfied yet perpetually confident that their own satisfaction is merely a change or two away.
  17. I've been giving this some thought -- even dreamed on it a bit last night... I don't think I have ever experienced this state called "lonely," even when I was totally alone for days and weeks at a time. Someone I respect once described me as "internally complete" -- not sure whether that is positive or negative but it seems accurate. This, to me, is a bit like the discovery a while back that I am not really familiar with the "suffering" concept so much of the population seems to experience (and not just the Buddhist understanding of it) and a bit like the discovery that I don't "visualize" the way it seems most people do. Hmmm...

Personally, I think it is contagious. North Korea is allied with Syria, Cuba, Venezuela and Iran, you know. Wait, am I in the right thread???
  19. https: not secure

Sean just needs to renew the certificate. I would anticipate this being corrected shortly (as in tomorrow or Monday...)
  20. Interesting. "Unlonely" is a valid if inartful word. "Befriended" or "loved" can also work. Lonely is a nuanced word, though, so it has no single antonym but rather many which counter it's various connotations.
  21. I've been to NYC, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Munich, Madrid and a few other big places and I'll take a town of 10,000 or fewer, please. I currently live a fifteen minutes drive from the nearest town big enough to even have a post office and it suits me nicely. No fiber, no cable, no rat race at all -- chipmunks, squirrels, groundhogs, rabbits, field mice, the occasional skunk but no rats...
  22. MISSING 411 David Paulides

There are more things in heaven and earth than are drempt of in my philosophy. I won't bother telling you any ghost stories, either. Or about invisible waves of energy that shoot through the air and carry messages. Or about the little people who lived here before us and still do in some places. Or about energetic healers. Yeah, you're probably right.
  23. MISSING 411 David Paulides

The Cherokee certainly say such about the slant-eyed giants
  24. MISSING 411 David Paulides

Not just an opinion but a conclusion -- some officials say "nothing to see here, move along" and some people look no deeper. That's his prerogative. For what it's worth, the Cherokee say this group of large hairy hominids live inside a mountain and have been snatching people, mainly children, for centuries in the vicinity of what is now The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
