  1. Master Wang LIping's seminar in SC

Is this a Hands On seminar ?
  2. Enlightenment and the Hermit

Sensory Deprivation is one way. Complete Saturation in Nature in another way. There are many paths into town, but very few near mountain peaks.
  3. 5 healing sounds if one organ is missing?

Still works. Also the vowells are cavity sounds resonating through the trunk like timber of an instrument.
  4. Ridcule of energy practice

Another option from ignoring observers or disguising your practice is to involve them by virtue of their presense. Learn to let judgements roll off or use them to the advantage of practice. It is always cool to hear a kid ask 'what's he doing'? You hear everything from he's crazy to ancient energy power building. Ultimately it doesn't matter what other people 'think' when they see you. Can you changetheir thoughts?
  5. Ridcule of energy practice

    movements measures without rules
  6. Ridcule of energy practice

Mine works everytime. If I show you a chi gung exercise that is Like holding a ball, and breathing with it, or 'doing' something with "energy" i can also show you how that sphere interacts with the human form to create a circuit and how that circuit makes it to ground when another person comes to play. That is the amazing thing about studying martial art and the natural measurements of the body is the commonsense of the movements. Moving like water with someone does not mean the wave isn't about to break... those that KNOW go yeah ... Gotta make the bottom turn... trimmmm walk the line
  7. Ridcule of energy practice

Who what when where why practice must be practical in communicating the Idea of what you are Doing. In my own Energy practice working with a sphere often invokes immediately tangible results even in no touch demonstration. some people are very touchy about touch, it doesn't matter though, grounding is grounding, create space w breath, hug a tree, do a climb it, show the internal lines that make the external. It looks like very natural movement. It's just like pulling open a door first then stepping through. Sliding open window to look at moon. Public practice is difficult. Metro people often walk around with furrowed brows in defensive judgement of everyone. Their perception of the world around them is clouded by many thoughts many thoughts and very breif moments of internal reflection. A competion for attention. Those who are seekers will sync up others are on their own boat. Most people understand the idea of catching a ball in a basket, If they don't "believe" that yeilding in the moment createsbtangible results I have them offer lateral energy with their a push punch shove something where they are going to displace my center of gravity with their own "force". creating a vacuum with their energy and then allowing them to fall into it. Then you show how two person practice creates mutual pressures and vacuums and it's a health gyro practice thaat circulates chi and follows the paths of least resistance through good roots and soft pinpoint hand placement. It's like catching someone arm in a cats cradled Chinese finger puzzle that's what I feel from the cubical sphere of two person practice combined with the palm transitions of required to keep the silken rings on the wrists through out the duration of the form. Done fast with long silk it flows in a certain way, like a body banner. I think Bow Sim Mark is trying to communicate this in some of her 'theatrics' work. movement peace still
  8. I'm mobile : unable to watch the video: who did the transmission?
  9. Fear of falling is natural. Falling is natural. The first time I released my mind from fear of this fall, I allowed myself to fall , passed through a vibrational veil and immediated popped into a oobe state. There was no trying no doing I had to relax and let go. My Sifu instructed me the day before "practice releasing the sensations of chi in the body as you fall asleep" the next day after I had that happen I told him he made me clean his garage.
  10. Teacher Presence, Radiating Energy...

A convection wave is a neat way to describe a masters ma who projects some wa wa. There is no limit to letting go, you can only get so hard, but there's no limit to relaxation. Having a guide is invaluable, like learning to play the guitar alone or having someone right there to help you along. The essense of the energetic fingerprints can not be transmitted through any medium other than presence. How else can you feel the texture of a movement. Oral tradition will be lost on a mass scale this generation. It is important to make a distinction between sources of iformation. Ya mu brings up a nice point on presenting information in one medium and then meeting face to face to be present. I think this is closer to the truth, as personal accountability and travel instills a sense of commitment, the pilgrimage or journey commits the practitioner to a sense of Feedback to states and progresses. In relationship to extra energy, there is the location, the other people, the teacher and you. Four parts to the perfect move. I've trained in china town locations so tenured by continual practice that as soon as you get close to the kwon you 'feel' practice starting... inside is like feeling the walls have memory. Like wise I've been around teachers who leech from their students and capitalize on their weeknesses, not helping them be a more coordinated individual. From my perspective it comes to Sources of information.... What source do u plug into when u stand, what source when u go to the kwon, what sources when you practice outside. This flow state, share the flow state, and people will fall in love while you show them how to stand on their own two feet!
  11. HOW TO GO IN SEARCH OF TRUTH

The mco is a real phenomenon. Just because you have not experienced so ething does not mean the phenomenon is not real. Those are movements of a variety of systems. The classical forms are usually strung together as a kind of movement wisdom education. There are a variety of path s through the forest I guess you could say. Have purpose for training and experience the benefits First Hand. Word of mouth is only as good as finding the source of the story.

    By the Way
  13. Teacher Presence, Radiating Energy...

Time to get wet. It's ok now notice how your feet stick to the bottom if you allow yourself to sink slightly, while maintaining central aLighnment. You'll notice as you move horizontally if you bob up and down you'll end up floating and loosing your footing having to resettle, but if your very careful, you will feel how sinking allows you to reverse direction turn corners and generally defy gravity all while casually walking to the far end of the pool, underwater.
  14. HOW TO GO IN SEARCH OF TRUTH

Truth is very unsubjective when it comes to gravity and wild animals. Taoism Observes what is natural. Finding a good internal teacher may be hard or easy, I stumbled upon the truth of emptiness, it has LED me on the most crazy adventures. Once oi stepped foot on the path it's resulted in some of the most amazing moments of my life. The Tao is great and unknowable, mind is one. I was fortunate to cross paths with Yee Chuan people. The basic tactics of practice are to still the mind and engage in natural activities. Work and quintesence are one, it is the mind that separates then. Although I saw amongst white clouds, the book it was based on also has many Taoist hermits still practicing on the main dragon lines and in the caves of china, which goes un mentioned in amongst white clouds. This is where the people who feel they have 'advanced' their practice ... Can observe further

  16. Front channel: up or down?

The best Way is in person. The mco mirrors natUral raising of awareness. Most people don't walk around with their hair standing on end, yet, when it happens , it is what it is. Reversing it is like a tonic. Best to let nature take it's course. Heat in the lower field is a good sign to progress to moving forms, a good moving form will naturally circulate your chi, it is important to build a good foundation through cultivating the three treasures in tandom. (Jing chi shen) begin with Jing : The food we eat, the air we breath, water, and how we move all co tribute to the quality of Jing that will be heating up to be circulated through practice.

Its true, a top could spin in place on a perfectly flat surface... Why does it stay upright?

  21. Zhan zhuang

Three Axis : Six Directions Up Down Left Right Forward Back this is the directional minimum for existance in three dimensional space, everyone has varying degree's of tension and relaxation of these primary postural directions, if I may point in an addition direction, it is the first oblique or diagonal direction off the three axis, this results in Eight Directions, any 45 def angle off the primary three will loop the energy to stillness. Four Axis : Eight Directions up down left right forward back oblique diagonal ( corners ) this is also related to the limitations presented by te concept of attack ie "overtaking" an opponent or the concept of maintaining peace and "neautralizing" an opponent. Martial artists seeking meditation in practice can completely rest in the eight pointed star returning all movement to stillness. By focusing on how the star grounds energy the double tetrahedro. Can be free to twist and spin while your equilibrium centrally balances the whole. Truth in conflict resolution may not be a victory by standing over the crumbled bodies of your defeated opponents. You might help them instead regain true balance.
