  1. I also dont think it is about controlling kundalini ,but to stop resisting and allowing /accepting her to manifest through body/mind.

It is fresh intelligence manifesting and old set of habits/thought structures are being totally reshaped. She is changing everything and totally knows what she is doing, so relaxing is the key.It is like trying to stop Sun from shining.

Some time ago Ive read a poem by an Indian sage(cant remember his name),but he says

"...to really love ,means to embrace uncertainty."

  2. I guess I missed the part where the serpent thread became the forgiveness thread, but that's the nature of the serpent -- it changes its skin.:)

When I hear the word "forgiveness" my mind silently adds an invisible mental marker: "newspeak." If it could be seen by a forgiving mind reader who'd ask me why, I would explain...

Newspeak words are implanted into our vocabulary as part of the overall war on genuine human feelings. "Forgiveness" is one such word. It didn't occur naturally in the English language, where the real word dealing with forgiving someone is this one, "to forgive," a verb describing a natural emotional process that can and will happen under certain conditions, can't and won't and mustn't happen under certain other conditions. The process described by this verb is real: people forgive. People forgive when their overall psycho-emotional and physico-spiritual dynamics hit this particular sequence of an unfolding/evolving feeling: "I felt angry/violated/destroyed by what you did/do to me, but now I don't feel angry/violated/destroyed when I feel the things you did/do to me, and it means I forgive you."

Any other sequence of forgiving is forced, superficial, unnatural, ideologically rather than phsychophysiologically motivated, is a lie to oneself, is a lie to others, and is unforgivable when forced down someone else's throat with "shoulds" and "ought to's." So this unnatural/fake state you arrive at when you "decide" to forgive because you were told you should is what is described by "forgiveness" the newspeak word. In reality "forgiveness" does not exist, the word was constructed and the concept was implanted as part of the overall brainwashing effort.

Do not practice "forgiveness." Practice "feeling what you really feel." Nothing beats the real thing, and no one is morally superior to a "real human" (a taoist term freely interchangeable in translations with "holy sage.")

Interesting idea TaoMeow ,but have to disagree from my point of reality.

Forgivness happens (it is not decided)to ourselves or others and it is change of heart, learning how not to hold grudges ,opening up, and softening of general view on life (becoming less stiff) and this in turn allows to take life as it comes ,"feeling what we really feel".

Practising forgivness would be learning how to tune in ourselves into that state.I wouldnt say it is brainwashing ,just another way.

  3. I dont know if this has been a thread already but i was wondering what you all think of in a Christian sense of the Serpent as Satin but in Hindu, Kundalini is the awakening of the true inner energy which is also callled the Serpent and the chinese view the Dragon as an immortal and spirital beast. I know many other religions and cultures view the dragon either as a demonic or negative force whilst some use it for positive forces.

    Comments?

And to answer original post i think kundalini would be more like a Holy Spirit in Christian sense. And Satan and his lot could be compared to Asuras (of Hinduisam)who can have same powers like Devas(angelic beings)but use it in negative sense.

  4. Personally, when I 'feel' the earth, its usually part of an elemental system by Rawn Clark called the Archaeous (free system of mp3's at abardoncompanion.com).

I get strength, confidence, deep abidement. I don't get some poor suffering Gaian. Earth is abiding, we're just a flash.

Course maybe my focus is more the earth element, but that's what I get.

    my 2 cents

    Michael

    Hey Michael,

Yeah I feel the same too- as in earth element.

I was talking more about Earth as a being/sort of living organisam and everything on her in her including us humans etc..as part of her, coexisting together.Larger picture scenario and not a shallow sentimental :Oh poor Gaia!blah .

But deep turn over and understanding of where one stands in a bit larger scheme of life.

So in the same way child can start learning whilst growing up that s/he cant go and wee-wee in the living room,I belive we have potential to learn skills that fit the larger view of how things work.

Most of us dont hence all the disasters.

Just explaining my perspective on assuming the responsability for ones actions and trying to take closer look at everything.

  5. Anyone in here tried to feel the Earth?Really feel it?Did you ever cry for/with her?

If yes so from depth of your heart, what happened as a result?

Some new good resolves ,understanding and deepening of respect on my part.

I personally feel that these are hard times ,and also that some positive resolve is trying to and is coming through.Just a gut feeling.

  6. I have heard lots of reports of visions from many k people. I can't prove it but it seems to be a community standard. You might have been having a precognitive vision.

Kundalini visions often mirror archetypal hero duties of mythology and spiritual traditions. A couple of personal examples: In my early years any kundalini activity was preceded by dreams and visions of snakes. Not just one or two but rooms and rooms of snakes. Snakes that bit my body, every inch of my skin covered and then they would burrow into my body settling into my muscles and bones and organs. Another archetypal vision was I went underground for three days. (has anyone ever figured out why it's always three days and nights in these archetypes? Please tell me your ideas if you know.) I saw and experienced during my waking hours of being in an underground cave while a grayish sewage like substance flowed from and through me and out of the world. It was gross. while in this underground vision my animal companion, a lioness, died from being cut off from the sun. (She originally came to me from the sun.) Before she died she birthed a cub, another lioness.

I have had many, many visions in my k process. The majority of them took place in the early development years. Most were easy to figure out. Some, even now, are a perplexing mystery to me. I don't get visions anywhere near the frequency I used to. Now they only happen if something is very important to be noticed. Some people do retain the vision ability and never really lose it. Its a type of siddi (power) that kundalites develop.

    blessings,

    Susan

    Thanks for sharing again Susan,

    So interesting to read.

I used to have snake dreams too a lot, they were everywhere trees, ground, everywhere.Still sometimes those dreams occur.

One time I woke up at night and saw cobra next to me standing erect .I thought OK I am awake and there is cobra next to me ,what do i do?Run to toilet ?but she might react and bite me.Then opted to stay lying in bed and closed my eyes.Maybe it was runaway snake from somwhere by some wierd chance ,I dont know.

About your underground vision with lioness and three days and nights archetype .First thing that came into mind - that three is a more torough version of one.Divine is often portrayed as trinity, they say all good things come in threes, three is a magic number...

Other than that i feel a bit rusty right now.

    Wonder what others think?

What was most helpful understanding for you been so far on your path(i hope this is not too personal)?

    Take care,

    Sun

  7. Hi suninmyeyes,

You ask who stores the memories and where. I don't think that any entity is responsible for storing your memories (nor for processing them either - only you can do that). As for where they are stored (apart from your brain) I don't know. Many new-agers refer to your presence on other planes as structures made of 'energy' - I would guess that this would be where they are stored - i.e. in you (or rather: within various parts of you).

I was asking you to ask yourself and look deeply behind "structures and energies"and you are right everyone can do it for themselves.

Are you sure that memories are stored in the brain though?Maybe the memories and thoughts are what you call me.

  8. P.S

i thought it be interesting to write that last year when i moved into new area i saw the house from my vision in a dream as i cycled on my way to work.Cold sweat run down.

We really have to love so much ourselves and all and let whatever comes along be that is the most beutiful way to exist otherwise it is like punishment.

  9. Shakti Mama,

do those visions come to most people with awake kundalini?

You are brave ,I got so scared some years ago. And prayed and prayed for it to stop one time when i had vision so teribble of this child being killed by parents. It was so awful, the sense of terror so strong .And some beings communicating with me ,sometimes so many people crying and asking to pray for them. Those days i used to pray for well being of all on all levels of existance a lot.

    So freaky.

Then i knew as an answer to my prayers for it to stop, that it will but that next time around it will be so incredible difficult. And that proved true due to an accident.

Now much has happened in a way of me understanding life and resolving fears and finding a place of comfort without a reason.

I feel really good to have said this about my expirience! Its something that has bothered me and couldnt say it to anyone.

edit:and its great to read your expirience and that this is being made open so people can relate

  10. I hope it works like that too, but I'm not banking on it. We came out of nothingness (death) and then were born into this world and life at least once that we know of, I'd be willing to bet it will happen again in some similar way.

Well ,one way or another when my good luck fairy(that fullfils 3 wishes )comes around ,i will ask her for it.Its on top of my list.

  11. I dont know much about Shaktipat, but like the idea of everything mixing up and fusing together ,flowing and changing shape.

Even the white race will die out maybe in near future,i wonder who is going to be Westerners then?I wonder how it will (whats written in above discussions)sound written in future?

  12. im always a great hit with fly folk.sometimes it doesent bother me and sometimes they drive me nuts so i start doing something else.

actually i now remeber that i found a way of putting light cotton cloth/scarf hanging over my face-it really helps.hahaha

i like threads about flies in meditation.

  13. ok i have been successful in pushing the sexual energy to my head..

whenever i feel the physical stirring of my loin, i have been able to eliminate the discomfort by pushing the energy to my head..

but there may be a problem..

is it possible that we may be more prone to errant thoughts when the energy is pushed into our heads?

    thank you for your advice..

Is this some kind of spiritual practise pushing sexual energy to the head ?

If there is stirring in the loin it means you gotta relax that area ,that is tension. That tension if its repetative or strong it means that you got to sort some thougth that you are holding on to .Invenstigate.

thats why errant thoughts might come, becouse in order for thinking to be more clear that whole are needs to be super relaxed without tension.

Give yourself lots of love.Kiss your thoughts.

  14. The purpose of dreaming is a mental cleansing isn't it? So wouldn't lucid dreaming run contrary to the purpose of dreaming? Bringing the conscious mind into that field will stop the automatic process that occurs every time you go to sleep. I can see dream practice as a very advanced practice for those who don't need this mental cleansing, but for most of us I'd guess we need stuff to get worked on and released automatically every night. Turning sleep time into a fantasy desire land (which is what many lucid dreamers do) doesn't seem very positive in my eyes. I could be wrong.

    Hello Mikaelz,

It is possible to wake up in a dream totally lucid ,and this does not refer to astral travel, but waking up in own reality where one exists as a sort of vacuum reality from where sounds and light is coming and making us up as we are, shaping us.

So i suppose im interested to learn to traverse mindscape more regulary, efficiantley. Its like mind tricking its self out of its self.

I feel lucid dreaming has potential to be a good mental excersise ,but maybe i could be wrong too.
