  1. Sacred Geometry

Excellent, I hadn't thought about Feng Shui in this way but I definitely want to setup my house Sacred Geo style to maximize energy effeciency. Dan Winter is into all this stuff but I find his views to be pretty complex but do find practical value sometimes like his take on Avatar film: http://www.goldenmean.info/avatar/

  5. Qi Dao - Lama Somananda Tantrapa

I enjoy Lama's radio show and think he is a nice guy but sometimes Lama does go on weird tangents in the interviews. It's all good though we are all unique.

  8. ORMUS

    In my humble opinion: http://www.mountain-manna.com/
  9. Magic

  10. ORMUS and cultivation?

I used Ormus for a few years but wasn't doing any energy work. I can tell you from personal experience it jacked up my energy levels quite a bit when I was on it.
  11. Marijuana, strength training, nei kung

fiveelementtao, I don't appreciate your extremist views. Go ahead blow your trumpet as loud as you want.
  12. Marijuana, strength training, nei kung

fiveelementtao. MJ was here well before Chinese Medicine. MJ is an expression of the Tao so why do you discount it so much? MJ has been excellent for me in terms of energy cultivation and helpful in waking me up from the trance. If you can't handle that then that is too bad. I don't blindly follow any so called "master", I speak from my own experience. If you want to become your own master then you too will have to let go of everyting you are taught and rely on your own direct experience.
  13. Marijuana, strength training, nei kung

MJ is a tool. Everyone's body consciousess/beliefs are different. You must find the correct dosage/frequency for your body through experimentation. Those that have conflicting beliefs about MJ, should probably just leave it alone. I am finding out that vaporising a small amount once every 2-3 days works wonders for me. It keeps me inspired and on track to where I want to go.
  14. The jhanas

Every meditation tradition explains that there are two aspects to any effective meditation practice: insight and concentration. In Mindfulness in Plain English, author Bhante Henepola Gunaratana, a monk from Sri Lanka and venerated teacher of Buddhism, offered basic instruction on the meaning of insight (or vipassana) meditation through concepts that could be applied to any tradition. In Beyond Mindfulness in Plain English, he presents the levels of concentration with the same simplicity and humor that made the previous book so successful. The focus here is on the Jhanas, those meditative states of profound stillness and concentration in which the mind becomes fully immersed and absorbed in the chosen object of attention. Using the Jhanas to guide readers along the path to joy, happiness, equanimity, and one-pointedness, the author provides all of the instruction necessary to utilize meditation as a tool for building a more fulfilling life.
  15. acid/LSD question

Well if you choose to keep taking acid day after day then ya you will get fried BUT if you do it once in a while then it can be VERY helpful depending on the intentions of the individual.
  16. acid/LSD question

I too reccommend mushrooms over acid if you are ready for it. I never tried LSD though.
  17. Dr Sha?

There is a downloadable mp3 interview with Dr.Sha on exploreyourspirit.com , he sounded very ungenuine and goofy to me.
  18. I agree, it's totally simple and practical.
  19. Is this drawing an accurate representation of your Qi? Because it is quite accurate for mine in the mornings.
  20. OMC, you give it straight and simple, tis the only way to be imho. If this site had a 'add member to favorites' I would defnitely hit that button.
  21. I don't believe in *accumilating energy/holding semen/watered down qigong, I believe in letting go of any gripping and flowing naturally with the Dao. When I saw the gentle movements in the trailer it was as if I was watching my own practice. This is the most true energy oriented way I know of and I have found a resource that totally agrees, can't wait for the DVDs Trailer: DVDs: http://www.sacredmysteries.com/public/282.cfm Volume 1 The Essential Health Practices This DVD is the first in the Alchemy of Qi Gong series. It focuses on bringing up the health and vitality of the body as the essential basis for further esoteric work. Filled with powerful health-enhancing exercises, this volume is designed to teach the viewer to take control of their own personal well being as it helps restore the vital flow of the Qi energy. Helping enhance the health is the primary goal of the beginning practitioner. If already in relatively good health, these exercises help bring up the vital energy of the body and serve as an important foundation for a balanced Qi Gong practice. The content in this DVD is very necessary for people living in the modern world. It serves as a policy of health assurance vs. insurance. The skills taught in this volume are the foundation of a vibrant preventative approach to vitality and illness. Volume 2 This DVD builds the foundation for a solid energy yoga practice. It helps develop the deep "horse" stances which are an essential part of Shaolin Qi Gong. Shaolin is the ancient Buddhist temple in China where great masters trained in the arts of energy cultivation and profound meditation. The basis of this work is predicated on the cultivation of the Bodymind as one cohesive unit. The Qi Gong taught in this DVD is designed to help bridge the perceived gap between body, mind, and spirit and the practitioner. It is an active moving form of meditation that teaches us to discover our internal power and gain further focus and insight in our daily lives. This volume is designed to bring up the energy in the body, connect the willpower to that force, and teach us to calm the mind while in specific postures. It becomes the springboard for a healthy alchemical practice which is anchored in the body. Volume 3 Shaolin Alchemy: Energetic Integration Practices The last in this 3-part series, this DVD delves into advanced concepts in Qi Gong. It teaches the famous Tendon and Muscle Changing as well as the Marrow Washing Classics from the Shaolin tradition. These powerful exercises are designed to integrate the energy flow with the tissues of the body and connect the Attention with the Intention in the practitioner. This level serves as the final preparatory step in the enhancement of energy flow for the student before they delve into the deeper Nei Gong (or internal alchemical work). These exercises cultivate personal power, refine the focus, integrate the Bodymind, and calm the mind. The Shaolin Alchemy is the necessary training training needed to reinforce the lessons taught in the first two volumes of this series. With sustained focus and increased energy available to the student, they are capable of stepping into a life of personal mastery and peaceful tranquility.
