  1. Answering an offensive post is the beginning of a useless conversation, but as I am not Sloppy let's talk once more "through my ass".

Although Jim is questioned about his ethics, that doesn't mean that he is not a fucking unbelievable nei Kung practioner.Never met him but John Chang described me the story that one day as he was testing him he missed his target(Jim)',and destroyed ,(explode)'a glass or a surface of glass,I can recall exactly.Costa when he stopes was at a similar power level.

These two they don't failed they just be stopped, and that's only in level 2.

Si-Fu gave me the level 2 in this small accupanture office of his sirca 2000 after that I had finished level 1 that I was practicing from 1996.I was visiting Si-Fu from 1998 to 2002 15 days every six months. My heart is foul of gratitude for this man that help my family without asking a single penny.

This is the reason that I am curius about Jim's book and I can admit no happy about his choice to teach.

So you don't want to bet ,you ara gonna loose.

    Yours Chen.

This has to be my favorite post on this thread.

I don't see how people can be so opinionated about something not at all having to do with their situation/lives. You don't know the position any of these people are in, and there will always be sides of each story that will not ever be told.

In terms of judgement, it's often in times like this. It is best to remain silent.

  2. Funny thing, I never found any resonance in when people would talk of 12:12 11:11 ect.

But for about 8 or 9 months I've seeing the number 3:16 and it's becoming more and more frequent. Very much so even.

I like to wonder, and wait in anticipation to learn what it would mean to me. Right now im at a loss about it though.

  3. At some point I spoke with a Chinese acupuncturist at a post-seminar lunch, who is also an indoor student (yup, there is such a thing, much as the outdoor students hate it  ) of someone who has no public presence, whom she described as a high level taoist master. She is a tiny little woman and seems very fragile until you talk to her. So, we had a fairly in-depth discussion, and reluctantly at first, and then eagerly, she told me about her training under her master. She said he aims to demolish every pre-conception she ever had, and so he took her on a trip to Hong Kong to meet with and spend time among other masters of his level, his friends. She told me of many absolutely miraculous things they do for fun, and one of the things she saw them do, on a number of occasions, was challenge each other to consume and then transform cisterns of hard liquor and remain sober, smoking fat cigars while at it and poking fun at each other, and then play martial games in earnest, with much laughter and mirth. She said the master made her learn to drink and smoke (which she never did prior to her training) while at the same time working on neigong techniques of transforming these substances into extra pure qi. "How else are you going to live in a toxic world if you don't have the skill?"

Ah yeah, I've heard of this before. Another thing is, if a Sifu offers a drink to you, you're not supposed to refuse.

The thing about this is, he doesn't stop offering you drinks. Your training is supposed to make you less susceptible to becoming drunk/intoxicated. In this way he's testing you, or testing your tolerance, and your discipline, how far he can make you go even though you're uncomfortable.

I've heard of people drinking enough to make a normal person unable to talk and end up in peoples bathrooms all night. Instead, they were completely sober. Maybe even more then me, and I barely ever drink

  4. Hm, im not sure I love the idea. I Feel the site is getting more and more separated, finding I need alot more time, and memory, in order to check both general and taoist discussion sections.

May aswell trade the general talk with the taoist discussion, and create the general as a sub forum lol.

    Just my 2 cents.

  5. There is something everyone, the media, and even most posters on this site MISS!!!

    It's the oldest K N O W N person in the world who died.

There are plenty of people OLDER who are still alive. For many various reasons, they have no wish to be known, famous, or to contact the media.

    Here is a great example...

    - Plenty of people can whup the current Boxing Heavyweight Champion "of the world".

    - Plenty of people can whup the winner of those strongman tournaments in which they fight in cages, grapple, etc..

    - African runners have existed for thousands of years. Only recently in the past 10 years or so have they "suddently" dominated the world track and running scene. Change African to Russian women, Mexican runners, etc.. etc....

    - And why the heck is the American Baseball championship still called the "WORLD" series?!?

The point is... far bigger, stronger, better, people simply have no intrest, no means, or whatever, to be in the media limelight. Sooo... it is the oldest KNOWN person who died. It is the most recently KNOWN man who went to the north pole, south pole, orbited earth, went to the moon, etc... etc....

  6. Does the tongue position play a role in these contractions/swallowing?

It's not touching either the top or bottom palate, I've wondered similar, or if my tongue position was straight up but didn't touch the palate. Turns out it didn't make a difference.

Was your mouth and throat dry........???

There's a possibility of that. After meditating my mouth tends to be a bit dry.

  7. Effilang's post reminded me of something that occurs often for me. Very very often if I itch my throat my prostate seems to contract, it's very strange.

Especially after im done practicing, if I itch the middle of my throat there are strong contractions.

    Any idea?

  8. As a kid I felt a need to find this category of lifestyle. Very young even. I grew up alone spending most of my time away from my family, and whenever I became a good amount social. I felt a need to avoid being social, like there was some path in my life to start, but I just couldn't see it.

On my 16th birthday it began, im 20 now. It has been a hell of a ride, but so far I know I've only just bought the ticket.

  9. Jing is Kundalini

    Chi is Jing in motion

    Shen is Chi Enlightened

There are three types of chi, nei wei and shen

Nei internal, Wei external and Shen the ultimate chi of the universe

It's a lot better then the first two

You can control your inner and outer chi, imagine what you can do when you are fully realized as the part of the whole of it

Can't really give the technique I'm using but go for what strengthens the 8 extraordinary channels, more painful the better

    Become one

It's funny, just by what you say I know what practices you do. I don't mean that as a bad thing. You know what you're practicing.

  10. Guiding energy is a function of the upper dantien. You may notice that "you" feel as if you're above the lower dantien. Instead, it can help to relocate your sense of self within the lower dantien. Imagine that your entire head has gone inside of your belly, as if you have no head on your shoulders at all. See outward from there. Listen from the belly.

Otherwise, just doing physical methods for a while or taking a break is a good idea.

I'm sure others here will have good ideas also.

Interesting scotty I do pretty much the same thing. Just imagine im seeing from the ldt's point.

    Cool stuff.

  11. What is your level?

Ah! I take pride in stating with humility that, after a year of painstaking effort, I have finally reached Level 50 in Fallout New Vegas, and can go no further because no new DLCs are being produced.

    Ohhhh my God HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I died laughing, that's freaking hilarious.
