  1. Q: Meditation sleepy

When feeling sleepy in the evening, I may go to sleep for an hour or two around 9 pm and then wake up to practice.
  2. Attraction

This is a good stream of thought, though I would add with humility that it's quite possible there won't be a "right time" for a "perfect person" in this life, the way I see it it's really a miracle if such a match be made, so to learn to get along with yourself (and even love the mf) is double important, both for you and the possible future soulmate.
  3. My Dantien is < 2% full

I have Mantak Chia's book "Energy Balance Through the Tao" which describes exercises that focus on the psoas. They're very pleasant and in the beginning you may get all these nice sensations and even emotions releasing from waking up these muscles.
  4. hunger pangs

Chunyi Lin suggests you swallow energy. Visualize it, then swallow it and feel it fill you up and take the hunger away. I never tried this techinque yet but tomorrow I'll be fasting for one day, then after a week or two for two days, and when springtime comes I'll go for a longer one. So I'll be eating energy too edit: oh yeah, I almost forgot coffee enemas
  5. Spiritual Development and Siddhis

I'm not speaking of a separate spirit entity but your very own spirit. That body of spiritual energy which is, in a way, the link between you and your soul, and once it vibrates more and more at the same frequency as your soul it will make sure you get the direct guidance and not a distorted signal. This is how it is descibed in SFQ. We also ask for guidance from the universe and any master we respect, right before we start the practice. Then I ask my master to push me to face the right direction for that session. It always happens, I might feel a push on one shoulder and then when I face the right way I feel the energy is stable and centered, not pushing more on either side. That's one simple way to learn to feel the subtle guidance that is always available.
  6. Question about meditation

I LOVE IT edit: it's really guided in the beginning for the first few rounds and then at the end for the ending. Other than that it's just cool music and master Lin chanting "Om" and "Mwah".
  7. Spiritual Development and Siddhis

Have you checked out the manual for level 3? It's pretty advanced. It's about emptiness meditation and opening the 3rd eye. Yes there's also advanced energy healing techniques like distance healing but going ever deeper into emptiness is what it's really about. Once you master all the levels Chunyi is teaching the rest will unfold by direct guidance from the universe since by that time your spirit wll be perfectly in tune with it and your soul will tell you what to do.
  8. Q: Meditation sleepy

I prefer sitting in the morning and daytime, standing in the evening. Standing/moving keeps me alert better.
  9. Q: Meditation sleepy

Yep if you feel like your attention is straying into dreamland then go to sleep.
  10. i come back with aprehention, do forms really matter?

Enemas, yes. Coffee enemas, not yet Highly recommended. Fast for a day or two, or even more if you can. Take a few enemas a day. Verryy nice feeling.
  11. Adrenal Fatigue/PE/Over Masturbation

Are we talking from the point of view of a cultivator or a layman? Because there is a difference, and this difference pretty much determines whether you want to take advice from say Little1 or from JohnC I'm a cultivator, and if I watch porn and masturbate I will instantly feel it in my energy, a drained deflated sensation, so I don't do it. I can't say much about the dual cultivation/karezza/hard fucking because I am yet to find a suitable Taoist love partner. It's probably more about the state mind than the hardness/softness. They do call it sexual kung fu, don't they? edit: deflated not inflated
  12. The Moon Is Bright Tonight!

In SFQ there's a meditation called the Moon meditation, which complements the Sun meditation. It's not yet in my routine so I can't tell you more about it.
  13. The Moon Is Bright Tonight!

Yeah OK full moon.. That explains my state of arousal for the last 3 days or so. Didn't act on it, unless you call "more lotus" an action, which it is in a way.
  14. Respecting Taoism?

Tao is lovely.. It doesn't demand respect, or enything for that matter. But if a woman, after seeing me practice the Tao for a longer time, still thinks it doesn't work, it's time to either start practicing properly or to find a woman who likes to keep her eyes open.
  15. Spiritual Development and Siddhis

Abilities seem to be a natural part of cultivating because cultivation is all about harmonizing with the universal powers, which means that those powers become available, or maybe: we come available to those powers as empty vessels and clear channels.
  16. Wang Liping

Don't worry, this Christian belief of yours will dissolve at the moment of death, leaving you open to Tao. Every little thing in your body and spirit will be reused or recycled, that's just natural
  17. My favorite poem :)

I felt a warm kind of happiness when I first read this one
  18. fusing souls or ascension?

Two souls? Are you referring to the two sides of the brain? Or Yin & Yang in the body? I have never heard of more than one soul per human being, instead I have heard of multiple spirits residing within a body. Many Taoists believe there different spirits in each organ, the kidneys have their own, the liver, the heart, the lungs, large intestine etc. So the "ultimate goal" would be to integrate these spirits into one through meditation and virtue. It seems there are different meanings to the terms "spirit" and "soul" in different traditions making things more complicated. I personally want to add you might be chasing the wind here, so to speak.
  19. Proof of Healing

Check out Spring Forest Qigong healing testimonials on youtube and www.springforestqigong.com For example: Frances Gaik, Psy. D., Psychologist, Oak Brook, Illinois, Author of: "A Preliminary Study Applying Spring Forest Qigong to Depression as an Alternative and Complementary Treatment" "Extremely effective in the treatment of depression, including bipolar subjects." OK here's the direct link to the Mayo Clinic studies: http://www.springforestqigong.com/medical_research.htm edit; these deal with both healing sessions from master Lin and "self-applied" Qigong practice.
  20. Love and Relationships

Hehe.. A king, even on a tough day, remains a king, though he may momentarily lose his "kingly character". I wish you happy buzzing!
  21. Love and Relationships

Morning TB! And thank you. This kind of posting is heart-warming. I do feel somehow important and loving.. In fact I feel like.. a King
