  1. Tantric Buddhism and Archetypes

There is no fixed, separate self as a unit, but there is a selfing process that develops as part of growing up due to the self reflective nature of the thinking mind. This can be seen by noting one's experience moment by moment or just noticing the insistence of the thoughts claiming one to be 'someone'. This 'one' means the body unit. My experience so far.
  2. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

Just say no to constant negativity. Opt out and start being happy right now.
  3. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

1-3 are linked since thoughts can generate problems that do not exist in reality - other than as thoughts. So you can 'shadow box' the problems but they still appear until you remove the source of the thought. I have been working on my 'life sucks' attitude for some time and it can be difficult to root out. News act as confirmation bias that something is wrong but it is the background attitude that makes you feel that life sucks. Cleaning your own consciousness makes an impact on others but of course sometimes government intervention is needed in cases of environmental protection, movie regulations etc. If you want to help clear the need for watching such movies then there are Divine tools that one can use. Sometimes when I have used them on external issues then the tool used pointed back to my own source of irritation with the issue as the problem to work on.
  4. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

Everything, you are right. It is better to root out the beliefs that make you feel bad including the belief 'the world is messed up' than to try to fix the world by external means.
  5. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

'Everything is fine' can be the reality of the realized but can also be a cover for avoidance for the unrealized. The majority of humanity is still following the egoic desires and destroying the Earth in the process. Not very intelligent.
  6. Surf's Up !

Usually when we repress anger it is because we do not feel safe in the situation we are in. That's why children behave differently when at home with parents than outside the home with other people. I wouldn't say I have completely cleared all my repression issues even with all the years of cultivation under my belt. Sometimes I have connected to Thor, the Nordic god of thunder and I have felt a natural expression of power arising in me that is different from my learned response which is more repressing than expressing.
  7. What happens to suicides?

I have been suicidal for a long time due to feeling like a failure when compared to the success that I perceived others having. I have healed that using Divine energy on all issues surrounding success, money, relationships plus listening to awakened teachers on YouTube that point to our True Nature. Fred Davis have nice practices on Being and Paul Hedderman points to not-self so you can see the selfing process in action. Also long walks in nature helps plus volunteering on causes that help others give something back that is not tangible but helps the spirit. Hope you feel better soon.
  8. Yi Jin Jing

I am famous for playing the corpse in American TV series ('hey we got a John Doe here') but never been to Virginia Tech before
  9. Yi Jin Jing

Not sure if it the same thing, but there is an instruction to recognize the awareness behind the eyes and then feel the awareness watching the whole body as yet another object, the same way as watching other objects that gives a nice effect and detachment.
  10. Yi Jin Jing

I have not tried the one you linked but this one I have tried and found it very yang and beneficial I think this one is more isometric than the one you linked.
  11. Nice article. The funny thing about the Western lifestyle is it dependent on people working until 65-70 years old which is very hard as outlined by the article. One thing that I recommend is at the beginning of your career is to save as much as you can and invest in index funds. Then you will be more independent of work than your peers.
  12. The Harsh Reality of Awakening

I am not the best at creating connection but when I am most successful I ask questions about other people's interests, lives etc, being curious and open about how the conversation will go and also feel a sense of joy of the spontaneity appearing in front of me. Also noticing where I feel blocks in conversations which I then can work on later. The harshness you feel, which is revealed in the title, is a disconnected aspect of yourself you can meet with love and awareness to melt and dissolve over time. Then reality will appear less brutal and more loving than it appears today.
  13. The Harsh Reality of Awakening

In the lineage I am part of we have worked on the way technology is being used by the collective consciousness to bring about a change so the usage becomes more natural. Of course the issue is big so doesn't change overnight. Sometimes I also feel lonely, but I think it is my own weaknesses that determine if I continue being lonely. I think it is better to stop being cynical and open up to the joy of interacting with people even if it is just saying hi to your neighbor and doing some smalltalk here and there.
  14. The Brexit Thread

I don't know about BBC but if it is like the national service in my country then it serves as a brain washing centre. I did not notice before but suddenly I could sense the intention behind most of the articles 'you should do this and not do that' like don't eat lots of meat etc. So people who are not aware will mostly just do what the programming tells them to do. This is how the elite programs people. The good news is that lots of people are waking up and can't be programmed any more.
  15. The Brexit Thread

Islam is like Christianity: the belief system involves actively converting others to their faith and look down on others who do not agree. I know this from many Muslims I have engaged in discussion with and they say it when you talk one to one. So of course it creates tension in Western societies which generally do not care about religion. The insanity of organized religion is not a step forward but backwards. All European countries now are getting stricter immigration laws. The EU was created as a trade union first and then became more of a political union. Germany has benefited from the Euro and the internal EU market because they can sell cars, washing machines etc easily using the laws of the internal market. Big Politics, like Big Pharma, Mega Corp etc do not generally care about the connections between humans. Everything is top-down shoved down your throat and benefits the top elites only. Merkel is a symptom of this top-down "broad-view" approach which favors THINKING over real life connection. Regarding whether Muslims are more savage than others: I do not think so but you have to think about the inherited violence they bring along because of all the wars etc they have experienced. This is not only a Muslim thing, I have seen Albanians react very violently as well and see violence as completely natural. Whether it is true or not: I heard that dark people are seeing as enemies "instinctively" because the plague in Europe killed so many and the victims of the plague were black skinned and thus seeing a dark/black skinned person creates fear instinctively.
  16. Tear it all Down & Renew the Source Seed of Love

Not sure what happened, but I will put the blame on the Western lifestyle with the obsession with work. Work mostly depletes people and when they get home, they have to take care of their kids etc. So no time to much else than work, sleep etc everyday. The social media has been a part of destroying this and I feel it is unhealthy to engage too much on Facebook. Social media also tends to rely on mental gymnastics and the physical connection which is necessary gets broken. That is why we see people with rage attacks and the conspiracy nuts going crazy like in New Zealand. Personally I feel much better going out in nature and listen to the birds and the wind moving rather than engaging on Facebook. Human mentality is becoming twisted and far from the reality of animals. In the discussion of globalization we seldom hear the voice of the whales for example, if they enjoy having thousands of ships moving in the oceans all the time. Economics is simply more important and everything else gets a mental downgrade. Regarding spirituality it is also getting too mental. I feel spirituality without human connection is too mental and seclusion like a monk is making people dry up and getting crazy. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-athletes-way/201705/face-face-connectedness-oxytocin-and-your-vagus-nerve
  17. First heal yourself of the beliefs "I am a healer" "I am a savior" "I want to help people" etc. and then see if you still want to heal people.
  18. The Myth of Conscious awareness in Sleep

So who/what is aware of the Dao then? It must be awareness thus you end up in the same place again - being awareness. I guess you mean conscious awareness where duality exists. Awareness where 'me' is gone and there is no distinction between 'my' fingers and the laptop I am typing at, is what I am referring to (rigpa).
  19. False lineage narrative with “Mooji”

I see the guru bashing as a Divine setup for the guru to evolve and also the desciples to wake out of the need for a guru.
  20. Potent Systems

I suggest you find a healer who heals with Divine energy. That will heal you, at least that is what I sense. I can suggest specific types of healing in a PM.
  21. Imagination - There's a Reason For it!

Patrick maybe you belong in Cuba or somewhere in Africa where they enjoy dancing as well. I think the white man mentality is to bog down everything, to analyse everything to death so the soul has nothing to enjoy anymore. People who are overly intellectual are just hiding their trauma and using the intellect to appear intelligent. Regarding The Secret, the problem is that one needs to take action into the unknown instead of waiting passively for mana from heaven. Anyway when I dance there are no issues and everything appears perfect.
  22. I would say that is a scholar's version of love. What about something more immediate and personal? Like a friend's spontaneous show of affection when you are most in need. Or a teacher's patience with you even though you are stuck in ego. Just something personal I experienced myself.
  23. Base as awareness, Watch the mind

I know what you mean, eg when talk gets filtered by the ego or when people are stuck in their issues if we look relatively, but in dzogchen everything is an appearance of one's own nature so nobody to abide or not abide. The first part requires someone to abide, the second requires no transformation.
  24. Helping ignorant spiritual people

Ramana Maharshi would ask "Who is frustrated?" Look into the core of frustration and see who is there.
  25. Reiki

This book contains a transmission of a reiki crystal you can use to channel reiki https://www.amazon.com/New-Reiki-Software-Divine-Living-ebook/dp/B00D3IP4EI/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1543130150&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Reiki+Brett+bevell&dpPl=1&dpID=51KVU9hFzTL&ref=plSrch There is a newer book called Psychic Reiki, but I don't know that one.
