  1. I think I've lost it

MPG were you able to move immediatelly when you woke up? or for some seconds you were filling like nailed on the bed? Some times it happens that, your "spiritual boddy" to be ouside your "physical boddy" when the second wakes up,and this create simillar feelings of anxiety and "terror".It may be a bad synchronication... Silmilar to "mora"...I dont know anyone that hadn't a similar experiance with some variations....
  2. Spiritual Bypassing

With all the respect Dwai, there is such a "yoga",for information only and not for debate, there is a place in Northen Greece, call it Agion Oros,(Holly Mountain), that there is a sect of Hermits that practicing the "Noera Proseyhi".Although Agion Oros in the Majoritty is populated with monks that doing the usual stuff for monks, like praying having a merchedes car ,and bodyguards, involving in scandals and political corruption there are between them some enlightened monks that with their "yogi syle" breathing technic are trying to become one with God,whatever is the meaning of this. The only difference is that as fanatic Orhodox Christians, they believe that the enlightenment is coming only with the grace of God and the other practices are coming from the Satan. As I don't want to abuse this thread if you want any other information send a pm. Friendly Chen
  3. Taoism = Anarchism

Very nice post indeed, unfortunately my English is bad and my writing can't follow my thoughts.Let me make a try.. It is very common for people of West to make a parallelism with Taoism and Anarchism as these two systems,in theory are based in real equality between people. In theory Anarchism could be the ideal system as it excludes any government to organize the way of living.Although Proudhon considered the father of anarchism we mustn't forget the thoughts of Kropotkin and Malatesta. From all those mentioned before only Bakunin made a real try to apply anarchism in practise ,organizing small revolutions from place to place and tried to crate small communes using force.Actuallly he never tried to orginize this communes to involved in a universal communa but more as individual self preserved cells. From the other hand Taoism as described in Tao te king, has some seeds of Comfucianism in it ,and preserves values of aristocracy on it. In my believe is using the accepted form : "everyone is equal but some are more equal than the others". As a follower of mo - tzu and his " universal love" doctrine ,( there is an Oxford publication on it, also you can find information in Wiki),I tend to conclude that community by it's self is organizing and adapting a more primitive self present style that we can find in the success of capitalism.,( " I will eat you before you eat me" ). Although with the Hippies movement back in 60's for the first time we had seen a real will of a large portion of people to change things in this word ,and some change, we don't have to forget that most of this guys are ruling us today with a more fistful hand than in the past ,and actually how many of us in the every day life we behave as Taoists? Taoism and anarchism remain in the romantic sphere of our dreams such as " universal love" due to the lack of proper educational background. In the future things will be worse since although the technological boom,we don't follow with a boom in our way of thinking, and in our base we don't differ so much than the primitive human that was struggling only for his physical survive in the past.
  4. Ok, I run through the book and for the moment I have some conclusions . 1) The book justifies it's title. Describes the adventures of a westerner student seeking the Mo Pai master. 2) if someone looks what I have written in the previous posts he will find that in some cases I am writing exactly what Jim is writing. That is a very important conclusion. That means that all the westerners had been given the same limited information about the system.thus I believe that J.C had decided to share only part information about Mo Pai .the only reason of that is and it's my personal conclusion is that everyone was under probation until his final decision. At this point I have to make a clarification.J.C haver kicked out any student .He closed the door of Knowledge and he refused further training. The door of his house is always open for a tea. That 's making me smile at Jim's comment about how J.C. Is still socializing with some ex westerners students. 3) about his comments about the other westerners although anointed is his point of view. He passes more than a bitterness ,his writing with empathy. To be the first no Chinese student that doesn't mean he is better tnan the others or worse than the others. 4) The "God vs Demon " writing is again his point of view. 5) About the teaching style of J.C,I think that he never understood J.C as an instructor.Yes J.C was fathering each one of us but his style of training was " shut up and practice", the only time that he was becoming the real J.C,was when he was testing someone. In other worlds if J.C, was given to you the level 2 on personal, and then you are practicing wrong for one year it's your problem not his. The fathering of J.C had to do with the relation "human to human" and not " instructor to student". Did I enjoy the book?Yes although it seems to me that it was written on hurry and somehow never checked before published for some uneaseserry information that was repeated except if it was for emfassising. Tnx.
  5. Finally got the book,no comments yet, only that I have to change my profile name. It seems that I share the same name with a Demon....
  6. Amazing Moon tonight

Indeed nice full moon combined with an eclipse visible from my place......
  7. Hi Ish, Mantis is right ,John Chang was right that stopped all the westerners students. Also Tongsong is right as it concerns that part. I am still waiting for the book so I have no clue what is written there. The only thing mentioned in this thread is smtng about a "demon". I don't agree with the decision of Jim to teach because is a direct order of J.C. From the other hand there are already so many out there ,(even in Facebook),that they are selling the level 1 around 300$.Jim is not a fraud,is a genuine nei kung practioner. From him you will have at least the original exersice. There is a delicated point between I have the right and I don't have the right.Ethics use to be alwyays a point of view. If we want to be fare,J.C,took a rather strange decision about the "westerners".If he was intending from the begining to do that ,he had to be clear that he will teach them untill a point and not to accept them as "indoor",students.A lot of people sacrifficed years of their life on a purpose . A book is a welcome "gift" you can learn things from a differend point of view but till this moment nothin is written in this thread about the book.Only dogfights between the members....Somewhere J.C will smile...!!!!!!
  8. Dear tongosong, This is a very interesting post that I believe should be analyzed. Let's start witth the Title that you gave on it. "The crazy rantings".... Name one. "Of delusional whinny little girl"....He seems to me of a very stron man who throughndown the empty of videos paper cover when tested (you tube). ".....get to be the One"... Every one is trying on this in a martial art,but even the Chinese failed till today "wow, that .....book than this"... Wrong understanding of the westerner psychology, you impulse people to buy this book with a " negative advertisement ". " For those who.....complete lies".... As above "no wonder ......Westerners".....It is the Westerners that gave a new life in this system .Before the mopai had had a specific number of true practioners. The rest of the Chinese mo pai students they didn't practise but like the planets were orbiting around the sun trying to steel a litlle of his light . Some of theme where 20 years in level 1 because they never practiced. " I can now appreciate....for this"... Mo Pai as an organization is governed with politics. I don't believe that a powerful spirit is wasting his time with such a matter. " such disrespect....teachings of Mo Pai" .... You are the one that disrespect Mo pai with such an insulting post.... The Chinese are polite people that they may ignore you maybe they will kill you but they will try not to insult you with such way... " Jim you are...."..... It reminds me the end of The Good The Bad and the Ugly.... When Tuco screams at the Blondie...." ..ehhhh Blondie ....you know what you are.....?...you are a s$n of a b&$&h....!!!" but Blondie was the good one...
  9. Hi Kundalini, For your request you have to wait for my book.... Ok, bad joke, yes there are some stories that I don't mind to share but on time. This thread is for Jim's book.Tnx!
  10. Answering an offensive post is the beginning of a useless conversation, but as I am not Sloppy let's talk once more "through my ass". Although Jim is questioned about his ethics, that doesn't mean that he is not a fucking unbelievable nei Kung practioner.Never met him but John Chang described me the story that one day as he was testing him he missed his target(Jim)',and destroyed ,(explode)'a glass or a surface of glass,I can recall exactly.Costa when he stopes was at a similar power level. These two they don't failed they just be stopped, and that's only in level 2. Si-Fu gave me the level 2 in this small accupanture office of his sirca 2000 after that I had finished level 1 that I was practicing from 1996.I was visiting Si-Fu from 1998 to 2002 15 days every six months. My heart is foul of gratitude for this man that help my family without asking a single penny. This is the reason that I am curius about Jim's book and I can admit no happy about his choice to teach. So you don't want to bet ,you ara gonna loose. Yours Chen.
  11. As I haven't red the book yet I have no opinion on it,but I am very curius to see his point of view.I don't expect to see written any "mystic technics".15 $ are just two beers so why not? There are a lot of ways to approach or to react in his decision to write a book right now.Is it a way for attracting "clients"?Is it just his testemony about his experiences that wants to share?Only he knows. As it concerns on the ethics or the morality behind his decision I believe he knows better than we do. I have to remark one two things. 1)Level 1 exercise is very simple and common. It is harmless connected with well being and prop ably most practioners in other systems are practicing the same exercise with a differend name.Although it is remain a "secret"of the system so actually except given form John Chang no one knows if this exercise is the correct one or not. 2)The only person that 100% is able to tell you if you finish Level 1 is John Chang with a specific examination.the others can only speculate .And now the crucial question. What gonna happened if let's say you are only 80% full and start practicing level 2? You will achieve the same qualities ? You are gonna destroy your Dan Tien?e.t.c?Remember level 2 is a differend story, needs monitoring from J..C on regular basis as it's connected with power and not well being. 3)According the highest information source "There is no Westerner more than level 2".Now if you are starting playing with number and letters and you make 2b 3a that's another story. So either J.C is lying for his own purposes eg discourage people to seek for level 3 exercise ,or some people have fake expectations ... Jim says somewhere I can't recall where that somehow he can find a way to continue with further research, and I can't find something bad on this.He had been devoted on it it is his right to do whatever he believes will make him go one step further. Warning: Although most of the systems have similar methods with the mo-pai it seems that these methods are not compatible with the mo-pai methods.I am familiar with one case of one person that tried to mix the methods with almost fatal results.Entering uncharted waters hide a lot of dangers. As for me I am waiting for the book to be delivered and I am sour that I will enjoy it if it contains what the title describes.
  12. Sensations in throat?

I tend to agree with Phosphor,it seems like a blockage.sometimes I have some blockage in the "heart chakra",mainly when I am meditating without clear before any bad feelings.in my case the blockage is in the heart area but I am aware of a friend that had a similar blockage in the throat area same cause.
  13. Taobums Q&A with Kosta Danaos

According the "Magus of Java",the name of the system is "Pa Lei Chuan" and means something like seven or eight way thunder Kung Fu.Also in the same book Costa mentions but not descripes two or three technics that belong to this system,so I suppose that he had been taught also the system. Its also written somewhere but I can't recall where that the system is similar with other systems spread around the South China sea. It's also rumored that J.C,also prohibit any teaching of his system, not only the "levels"... Regards....
  14. Hi, I have found in the past the music of "Dead can dance",very helpful as in our modern living environment you cant find a really peaceful place. Keep practicing....!
  15. Mozi Neidan Scam

Hi Rodgej,I have the same question like Vortex...How do you Know that DT is full? What exactly happens...A lot of other practioners, told me that smthng is happening but nobody told me what exactly is that...I dont think that is smtng so secret so you can't share...I am asking this because a know some people finished Level 1 and noone felt nothing.Just one day JC told them that they have finished with level 1.

  17. New Interview With Chang's Top Student Jim

...so Si-Fu Djiang becomes eventually an "evil" person and the respectfull Liao a Demon... ...and you don't be afraid if Liao's evil spirit, pissed off and run after you....?
  18. New Interview With Chang's Top Student Jim

Very fast answer indeed, but it was just an offence and not an answer....So, you that you know so much about the Mo-pai and the levels why you don't help me giving me an answer ...?
  19. New Interview With Chang's Top Student Jim

Well,....Hmmm!!!... Umph.... Anyway, there are a lot of things that I am thinking about, but there only two of them that I am really interesting in. Lets assume that the whole John Chang story is a true fact. Then: 1st)I never understood which is the current "level" of Jim.He has finished the Level 2b and now he is Level 3 ,having the exercise of Level 3 and practising on it ,or he has finished level 2b and before starting the Level 3 Sifu Chang decided that he will not teach any more the "West guys". I mean is he finished Level 2 or Level 3? The test on the video back in 1999 as we can see on "youtube",is the test for Level 2. 2nd)There is smthng in the Mo-Pai training that Jim must be aware of it.IF you finish a level and will not continue in the next one as soon as and you continoue to practise your level that you had finished, then EVEN if someone will give you the exercise of the next level, you can not jump to the next level and you stay permentely in the level that you were before. In other words finishing a level without jumping to the next one, dooms you to remain for life in the last level achieved.
  20. Information needed

Hi, As for the next 3 years I 'm relocating to Vietnam(Saigon) ,I am kindly request if anyone is able to provide me some information other than WIKI's. Mainly I am interesting but not restricted in training that includes meditation, and some information about the relation between "Vietnamese instructor" - "westerner student". If it is not the corect place for this topic please remove it. Thank you, Chen
  21. Well ,in my undertanding the person who wrote the "manual of Ant..." just took or listen, about the Levels. As he claims he had a heart atack practicing the Mo-Pai stuf. That means that he was practsing at least 7-8 years.and deffently he was level 2 as level 2 is the only level with these side effects. Although the exersice for level 1 is very simple and harmless ,he propably describes what he is amble to understand from kosta book and thats all. Also he describes the half lotus posture as "seating down with crossed legs". That means again that either he has a complete ignorance of of the basic stuf or when he was writting he was bored to explain it. As it consern the breathing maybe he took the sequence and timing from other books irrelative with Mo-pai. I dont claim that this breathing is wrong but if its wrong you will sock your organism for good. About the stories that the Level 2 can create health problems ,deffently YES. I have witnessed 2 cases of serius problems, such as the bloackage of throat chakra that was healed from Sifu and another case that the inner tranformation of another practioner almost killed him. I really dont know if it was due to wrong practise,or a side effect caused of the nature of this kind of practise. Thats why I wrote not to be practissed from books of uncertain origin.
  22. Don't. Level 1.... No it isnt. Level 2.... No it isnt. Improper breathing is A REAL problem. All that described WRONG. Attention. Attention. All about health problems correct. Compressing chi has rules. Side effect is even Death. DONT practise from books. Check behind it.Check author for background experience. Dont buy Levels. When ready, knowledge will come for free.
  23. What is so "special" about full lotus?

Biff, if you mean J.C when you say Pak John,I have a lot of reasons to beleive that he relays in Full Lotus,as Level 1 Lotus meditation is an exersice for life regardless the Level achieved. There was another thread few months ago about the Full Lotus position and a lot was written. In Inner alchemy the full lotus must be used in combination of certain mudras. Although half lotus is more easier and also the simple cross leg stance, you have a lot of unlocked points that redirect the chi to be wasted or circulated among the body instend to be stored in Dan Tien . In general I agree with drewhempel , one unit of achievment in full lotus, needs 3 times more time in half lotus and 20 times more time when just X-legged. From the other hand ,full lotus is just the one way that you have to follow depending on goals and school that followed.
  24. inacuracies / lies in magus of java

I am familiar only with "The magus...". It is well known that this book is not a tutorial one. From the other hand, everyone knows that a lot of books is not possible to be publiced as the author wants. The publicer, not rare ,gives a guidance to ensure the commercial succes of the book. I am not writing for this book but in general. In our case, and as an example,as Enishi mentioned, the batlle that last for three days ,maybe last three hours but that means nothing. For me its the same. The purpose of the book ,in my opinion was to introduse J.C,and to let us know that there is "smthng else" out there. Trying to find inacuracies, its pointless, because there are a lot and propably in purpose. Also, there is not even one line ,about the methodology and the way of training. So if we want to talk about inacuracies , first we must know what is the acurate.
  25. Such a "Taoist aproach". The one that destroyed smthng...... All of us will be benefited from your presence here... You will teach us how to destoy, desigrate and ruin, anything that we dont like.... Welcome Darth Vader....
