  1. Hi Odin.  Welcome.

I don't do video games so we won't be talking about that.

I can talk with you about (inner) peace and contentment.

Yeah, my health (old age) is an issue but I just have to work around that.  Maybe those health issues you have could have some ways around too if they are something that is not correctible.

Congrats on being published.  I'm not.

yet again the report gives us no clue as why the man was stabbed - which leaves us with the impression that the attacks are just random acts of violence.

Yeah, we have the same problem here in the USA.  Media and government tell us only what they want us to know.  I think your home might be a little worse than here in the USA though.

    TOP FAREWELL NOTE....

    Dear DBs,

After careful reflection I have decided to bow out of this forum. I now realize I shouldn't be here because ... and I don't ... here. To be honest, I haven't ....

The only people here I will have nice memories of are Marblehead, who surprised me by saying this is a forum where humor is allowed -- but I never really saw it. It was a nice fantasy that it could be possible for a while anyway. Another obviously fine person is Zen Pig -- take care, pawdner. This is m' last rodayoh here ah reckon.

    Hi Luxin,

I can't say anything about your decision.

But I will say, "Sad to see you go."

There is humor here.  It's just that most of us are complicated people and it takes time to understand us.  Once you understand us you can see how humorous we are.

May you enjoy your journey wherever it might lead you.

Yeah , thats one of the many reasons experts put foward to explain, revolving around having a unified cultural center ,and the lack of it.

I have never done a study of that concept myself but it is what I picked up over many years of reading Rome's history.

Seems to me London is headed in the same direction along with the West Coast of the USA.

This country, us, has attempted to bring people in under a single banner of citizenship. It has always had internal factions, ethnicities and social conflict.

Well, look what happened to the Roman Empire when they tried it.
