What have you learned from this forum that you consider invaluable?

I have learned that I should not talk politics on a spirituality based forum. But I seem to be having problems with applying what I have learned. -

Yeah, I started drinking coffee when I was eleven years old and haven't grown tired of it yet. PS I did grab myself another cup of coffee while you were doing your search. -
Sounds like you had a really nice cup of coffee. Almost sounds like some Turkish coffee I had many years ago.

There was coffee in my coffee cup but it's all gone. -
Maybe you were born to be a Hippie and getting a hair cut conflicts with your natural essence?

I am a witness! -
Yeah, great song and a great voice as lead singer. I feel comfortable suggesting that The Ink Spots and The Platters are the mother and father of DooWop music and later of 1960s Soul music. Then MoTown ruined everything.

Hi Eric. Welcome. Nearly anything can be presented as being evil. But if we ignore dualities, good/evil, then things just are and it is only when things are applied with intent do they become good or evil. No, I haven't watched the videos. Maybe later. But thanks for sharing them.

It's been so long since I had a spontaneous erection I can't even remember the experience.

That's too pretty for my tastes. However:

Good thing I have never claimed to be an expert of anything. But I agree with the concept being presented in the video.

Some people just want to make things "better" than they are based on their natural evolution.

And so it would likely be best if we walk the harmonious middle path.

Hi Clouded_Mirror. Welcome. Regarding Taoist Philosophy: I always recommend reading a couple/few different translations of the TTC (Lao Tzu) then read at least one translation of the Chuang Tzu. Then go back to the TTC and find a or some translations that speak to you. Translations of both can be found here: https://terebess.hu/english/lexikon/t.html After that it will be easier to journey into various other aspects of life with Taoism at their center. And don't fucking swear too much. But some words are the best for presenting emphasis. Happy journey! -
For sure. I have the right to be wrong and also the right to change my mind.

That song was on my mind a while back and I couldn't recall title or artist. Then suddenly appears, in that collection that was given to me, there is was. It's now in my collection. This song is playing here right now:

Hi Luxin. Welcome. Yes, great intro. I'm sure you will find members with interests common to your all over the place here. Humor: If humor were not allowed here I would have been banned many years ago. And yes, beware the abyss - when it starts staring back at you, you are in deep doodoo.
-
I cannot be of any help here.
-
Interesting. I never considered that. I was just being me. But you are correct. I am that.
-
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Switched genres of music this morning. A collection titled "50s Oldies". That's a collection of 1950s music other than DooWop and Rock-A-Billy which are separate categories. 50s Oldies includes stuff like this: Saw him at the Evergreen Ballroom in Olympia, WA in either 1959 or 1960.
