Have you ever known me to be wrong yet?

Yeah, Lao Tzu mentioned Duality vs Singularity a couple times but really didn't speak to the concept all that much. I can't recall Chuang Tzu saying much about it. East/West - different? Yes. One better than the other? I won't try to speak to that. And I agree that it would be best to not include politics or even culture in a discussion of spirituality.

I have no fear of that ever happening. Too many of our members will keep those discussions going regardless of what else is being talked about within the various sub-forums.

That is actually a truth. I get and stay off grid as much as I can.

Hi Ceiba. Welcome. We have other musicians here. Maybe you will encounter them. Yeah, old age is a challenge. But we can always stay young at heart.

I have always considered spontaneity an aspect of wu wei.

Only Anarchy is total freedom but we know that won't work. So we try for second best. I think Lao Tzu presented a good possibility in Chapter 80.
-
Neither did I. I just made it up.

I still like my interpretation. I am, after all, a Westerner. A Neanderthal at that.
-
I know. I am biased but I like my biases. What's a poor man to do?
-
Yep. If I recall correctly he is credited as being the first person to publish a comprehensive Chinese-English dictionary.

I agree and find that sad. The USA used to be the best example available.

And you know what part of my body those watch organizations can kiss, Right? More NWO BS.
