  1. What about Dennis Adams in Mt. Shasta, CA? Anybody ever heard of or got feedback on this guy?

    das1.jpg

I'm not sure exactly what his lineage is - but his

seemed pretty impressive... Someone should check this guy out if they don't live too far.

I don't know much about him, but he is a close friend of someone I used to know in Michigan. I'm going back 20 years, but if I remember correctly, DA lived on Mt. Shasta, (a place I love, and visit every year), for five years and during that time is when he become aware of his healing abilities. Then he was tested in a lab and altered some cell culture or something. Also, the person I know claims to have left his body and didn't want to return, so Dennis Adams left his body to find and retrieve him. I don't know what that was all about, but I remember him telling the story on the radio.

  2. Thanks Chris,

I appreciate it. still not really sleeping. I am not even going to talk about that anymore. Yeah..my sense is you could maybe cover some of the transformations of energy and consciousness a little it more. The seminar was sort of like..here is some totally mind blowing tools that will completely change your outlook on things and have fun with that.

I mean..maybe that is a fun way to teach it..but it most definetly leaves me with the feeling "I need more feedback".

So..yeah..I just don't have a clue. I am starting to realaize I can't even really have a design or plan on how things are going to go. Like..this is just throwing stuff out the window.

Will do my best to relax...eat....be as loving as I can. Might still try to make it to SF.

    Hey Cam,

    Your experience kinds reminds me of a passage from one of Sri Aurobindo's books;

"You must dismiss the fear of the concentration. The emptiness you feel coming on you is the silence of the great peace in which you become aware of your self, not as the small ego shut up in the body, but as the spiritual self wide as the universe. Consciousness is not dissolved; it is the limits of the consciousness that are dissolved.....it is the beginning of the transformation and there is nothing in it to fear."

Maybe another private session with Max would be helpful?

  3. I am thinking of maybe doing the Kunlun workshop in SF next month.

I think Yoda and Sean are committed to coming to the Phoenix workshop.

Any Taobums in SF interested in going?

Like Todd for example  ?

I'll be there. I live near Mill Valley. I had a little something to do with the seminar being held here.

You probably won't want to stay in your room here. It's too beautiful. Mill Valley is very close to SF as well as Mt Tamalpais, Muir Beach, Muir Woods, Green Gulch Zen Center, the Headlands, the Mt. Theater, Sausalito, Angel Island, etc.

  4. when closing down the practice, ( feet flat on the ground, palm covering navel) Tilt your head backwards as if looking skyward. I've felt the energy quite strongly and began rocking side to side and also my upper body moving in a circular fashion, just like when in the "open" position, but there seems to be a different quality to the energy. I feel more surrendered to the energy in this position. Is it just me?

  5. I would try to see Zdenko Domancic. The only problem is there is a long waiting list to see him. His clinic is in Slovania. I studied with one of his students and he said Zdenko could heal some people just by looking at them, but he would go through the motions anyway, for the clients satisfaction.

See the film about him and his method at Google video. Do a search for -Think about it bioenergy.

  6. Regarding the time limit, the hour is just a guideline. Your body will tell when to stop. Max said eventually you reach a point where you will be done with the Level 1 part in 5 minutes.

    Craig

Did he say when it would be appropriate to begin level 2? Practicing for one hour a day for six months seems like a general guideline also.

  7. I received the book on friday and have practiced the method four times. I also experienced the legs bouncing as well as my upper body moving in a counter clockwise direction and a feeling of my arms and hands being filled with chi and slowly moving up and slightly away from my body. Very cool! I also felt intense heat on two occassions and a feeling of deep peace and relaxation after the second time.

I am done talking about the mystique and amazing abilities attributed to Lama Dorje. Time to talk about the practice.

So, I started practicing Kunlun Level 1 yesterday from the book. My guess is most people interested in Lama Dorje from Tao Bums will check out the book first. So will be cool to have a thread where we can all discuss our experiences with the practice.

Of course, if you are doing(or already did) the workshop definetly give feedback if you like. And of course any feedback from Mantra68 would be awesome.

So..Kunlun level 1 is very simple it seems. It has 3 stages from what I can tell. You start with a simple visualization where you see yourself floating on a white lotus in the middle of a cloudless sky. Above, under alla round you is cloudless sky. Then you imagine white lite all around you and breathe white light into yourself and breathe out toxic energies.

The second stage is where things get interesting. You hold you arms a special way and your feet a special way. The book says to hold this position for 10 minutes then if things don't start happening spontaneously your either supposed to move or stop and sit quietly. I am actually not clear about this so if Mantra68 or someone could maybe clarify this.

So..I held the position for about 20 minutes this morning. After the first 10 minutes my legs started shaking. I have done standing meditation(zhan zhuang) and experiences shaking limbs and stuff before but this was different.

my right leg started jumping up and down very fast. It was sort of interesting to watch my leg just bouncing up and down. My upper body and arms remained pretty still. No real noticeable movement in the upper body. Then after a few more minutes my other leg started shaking. So both my legs were going up and down very fast.

I am not clear about the instructions from the book. Your either supposed to hold this posture for 1 hour or if nothing happens after 10 minutes(I held it for 20) your supposed to stop.

If someone who knows could maybe clarify.

the third stage is sitting in silence for 20 minutes. Just sitting quietly with hands over the navel. pretty simple. Nothing special to report here. Though Max says that this 20 minutes at the end of sitting quietly is the most important part.

  8. Hi everybody, I've been lurking around here for a few years, enjoying the topics of discussion. I've been interested in taoism, chi kung, meditation, herbs, and all things spiritual for about 25 years. I'm also a Domancic Method Bioenergy Healer, and a Reiki Master since 1989. The greatest influence in my life has been the teachings of Sri Aurobindo. I live in the SF Bay area. North Bay-Novato.
