  1. why does 'evil' or people who do bad always seem to win or be able to succeed I share this rant with you jenn. I've seen it over and over again. People will steal, cheat, and lie, treat others poorly, and yet will go on and prosper and even receive praise. I believe, however, at some point, it will catch up with them. Maybe on the soul level. It's the blind leading the blind, or as jetsun said, unconsciousness. Unfortunately, we just have to deal with it. In the meanwhile, it can be really frustrating. I had to leave my job last year because of this kind of thing. I didn't want to be around it any longer.

  5. Zeroing in on specific internal organs

Many years ago, B.K. Frantzis was on the Phil Donahue show and he was talking about this same subject. He then stood up and showed his back to the camera and began "wiggling" his kidneys like bodybuilders bounce their pecs. Wild stuff, man.
  6. Five Centers Facing Heaven Qigong

My guess is, sitting in full lotus with hands on the knees, palms up, so the soles of the feet, the palms, and the top of the head/crown absorb the heavenly energy. I think Master Chunyi Lin teaches this also.

  21. True mastery?

    haha
  22. True mastery?

Are you being serious? Let me remind you of something. This isn't your thread. To you, he asked a question about Taoism. To me, he is seeking a spiritual understanding. The only other "school" brought into this thread has been the school of spiritual truth that exists in all schools since the beginning of time. Why don't we leave it up to Everything to decide, since it's his thread.
  23. True mastery?

Try telling this to Tao99, not me. He's the one jumping to all kinds of incorrect conclusions. If you guys don't know who he is, why would you automatically assume he is a Buddhist? Ever hear of google? Did I make multiple postings in an attempt to hijack this thread? No. Is Sri Nisargadatta a Buddhist? No. Did he mention anything about Buddha or Buddhism? No. Not to mention I know slightly more than nothing about Buddhism and have little, if any, interest in it. I don't appreciate your condescending tone, Taomeow. Tao99 was clearly the aggressor. Excuse me for trying to help the OP out. We can't have any of that around here.
