  1. Orgasm

i don't say. they say. obviously there are conflicting sources from within the cultures themselves. bottom line is, i don't care. what i do care about is accuracy, and since i don't know what it is in this case, i'll avoid drawing conclusions either way. this leads to a broader issue which has little to do with orgasms. some people have a lot of misconceptions of primitive cultures, myelf included. i can't tell you how many times i was disappointed to learn certain things. for example, the peaceful loveable hawaiians were actually a warlike and tyranical culture that practiced human sacrifice and executed people for stepping on the shadow of a chieftain. not a stellar example of harmonious huamn existence or tolerance. the iroquois were another lot full of treachery. they were like the US to the indian world--imperilaistic and dictating internal policy to neighboring tribes. they also tortured prisoners beofre excuting them. none of this stuff started to suddenly happen when white people showed up. it went on for centuries before any contact with white people. i suppose if we wanna have this discussion we should start a new thread. my point is that anyone nowadyas with a particualr political, social, or spiritual agenda will find some way to justify it thru these nice, kinder gentler primitive societies that were so much more enlightened than we are. they weren't. hell, even bush supporteres find their analogies among the apache and so forth. i remember one debate on one fo the tracker lists about how geronimo would be all for the US and another saying no, geronimo would be totally iraqi and probably summoned the sandstorm at the intiation of the war. silly silly stuff. find the truth inside yourself.
  2. thoughts

psychic development is a natural process with all cultivation work. just practicing the awarenenss you learned at tracker school will have remarkable results in this area. much of it, surprisingly, comes from jsut the physical aspects of tracking and awareness, including knowing people's thoughts. as far as thought goes, these thoughts have thinkers. the thinkers are various and numerous psychic elements in the ego. these are the unintegrated aspects of your psyche. your psyche is fragmented into these elements. these fragments are alienated from your true being. that is to say, they are polarized withthe world instead of the spirit, or tao. as you integrate them, they repolarize with the tao and cease putting random thoughts in your head. the problem iwth most mediation is that it only quiets these elements, it doesn't repolarize them, transform them. it only quiets them so that you can achieve an elevated state of awareness or bliss. then you return to the same state as prior to mediation withthe same problems and distarctios, except you've gained some knowledge perhpas fromt he meditation. specific methods are needed to achieve the transformation. it begins with keen and incisive self-observation to gain awareness of these elements and how they operate. they must also be linke dto others withwhich they act as a team to distarct you. michale winn gives some good methods for dealing with these inthe fusion and kan and li work, though he doesn't give it the emphasis it probably deserves. once you find the elements and their polarization with the world--in other words what they like about it--you can then find the corresponding opposite polarity in spirit and realign the element. it's not merely and intellectual process like i am making it sound like; it's a profoudn and spiritual one that takes place on many levels: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc. in order to observe and discover all the elemtns, you must place yourself in some kind of "gymnasium," a psychological gymnasium, adversity. tom brown does this with scout class. that is his best gymnasium for dealing withthe ego. that is the pupose of that class. to uncover the secret enemy lurking within your own psche. in other words, the psychological work on the ego is the spiritual conterpart of the scout class. in my opinion. there is a lot of coyote teaching here. gudjieff also discusses this work extensively and you can find his stuff about it, written mostly by his students. i don't have aything handy right now in china. so have at it. enjoy tracking yourslef in your own mind. in taoism, the doorwayto this work is the 5 shen. they will show you the way. it is not accidental at al that they are symbolized with animals.
  3. Orgasm

i don't have my refereences handy here in china, but i think the ojibwe were one. this came up at a meeting where an ojibwe medicine man was present and several tribes were discussing cultural differences. the ojibwe women were expected to live in moon lodges during menstrual periods to avoid harming the rest of the tribe with negative energy. i'm not sure about the souix, but a lakota woman i know well has been very disillusioned by the extreme chauvinism and patriarchy of the souix that gives medieval christians a good name. i can't remember anything specific about moontime.
  4. Inner Landscape

i have it at home. if you pm me your address i might could copy and send it to ya.
  5. Orgasm

yeah, but in many other tribes it was because they were impure. ya can't just select the stuff you agreewith and that makes you feel good. ya gotta look at all of it. i'm a guy so i dunno what its like to menstruate. i'm just looking att it as scientifically as i can. and when it comes to shit like this, there'sa lot of politics disguised as science (including psychic or spirtiual science) such chauvinism and feminism. if we are inclined toward one or the other, it will cloud our scientific understanding of the issue. my advice is that you explore the subjuect on a deep and practical level by engaging in the practices, journaling them, and reporting back to us your findings. sure it may take years and sure zekeriah sitchens 12th planet my collide with the earth and kill us all bewfore you get to your final conclusions. but we'll all learn a lot in the meantime.
  6. Orgasm

i believe the practice is called "slaying the red dragon." i know a woman in sichuan who has accomplished this. at least she says she has; i'm not spying on her one amonth to find out. the practice developed because wopmen lose a lot of jing at this time. the only time they do i think. maneewan chia may have done something with this. i never read the women's book she wrote on sexology.
  7. Orgasm

i've never known a chinese chick who wants sex when they're having their period. they all think its evil, or something. and i've only ever been able to talk one of them into it, and she was horny everywhere all the time, even on buses and airplanes. notcher traditional chinese girl........

  9. Orgasm up the front channel?

the MCO goes both ways, jsut like mrs. columbo. you can also draw up the core channel and then let the energy flow down the front and back channel, then recirculate it by mixing it with the next draw up the core channel. this helps to refine it as well. what you have with this technique is basically a fountain shooting up the core channel and then overflowing the top and coming back down. you cnextend this to the side channels two. it forms a king of egg of energy with a hollow shaft, so to speak. later, ytou can circualte the energy ayway you likewith meditation. REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU FOCUS YOUR INTENTION AND WHAT DIRECTION YOU DIRECT THE ORBIT, IT ALWAYS FLOWS BOTH WAYS--UP THE BACK AND DOWN THE FRONT, AND UP THE FRONT AND DOWN THE BACK. in my exoperience this is what a healthy orbit does when it's open. the problem of up the front or up the back is a beginning practice when your just starting to workl with te MCO. once it's open it will go both ways. a recptive yin meditation will show you this.
  10. Reality and Rice

i also have my doubts about the water thing. no one else has done it. however, i have no doubt about the power of intent.
  11. Rituals

don't care much for rituals myself. but if ya are gonna do one, probably best to do like yoda and make your own. it's more meaningful that way and entirely yours. don't ahve spend a lot of time trying to make someone else's ritual yours.
  12. expostualtion

been away from the board lately. had a friend move to china and i've been helping him get settled into a job and apartment as well as having very long dioscussions into the night. but i'm back now. it will take a while to catch up.
  13. sun and moon alchemy

about a month ago, i posted a mentioned a practice on sun and moon alchemy i got from a monk in china while attending a wedding. he advised me to spend a few months doing a meditation with the sun at the top of my head during the day, and with the moon there during the evening. the next stage was to move the moon to the perineum and then do a meditatin with the sun at the bai hui and the moon in the hui ni. after that the next stage was to bring them together in the cauldron. what i found upon initiating the practice was that the moon was already in the hui ni and sun alredy blazing at the bai hui. this was due to months of work with the sun and moon already with a strong desire to get to the next formula before obtaining the tapes from healing tao. during that time of work, mostly in the core channel, i found that the sun and moon had switched sides so that the moon was now on the right, or yang side, and the sun was now on the left, or yin side. i wanted to further this work with intent by not doing any actual practice but merely by turning my thoughts to the process during the day and seeing the sun and moon in their respective locations and observing what they do. what i witnesses was a long block arm or protrusion reaching up from the moon along the core channel towards the sun and a long bright yellowish white one moving down from the sun. after a little over a month of observation, this is all that's happened. apparently intent needs to be supported by practice or meditation until the process is established and operating on it's own. i'm not sure i understand this. if these are all natural processes and our birthright as humans, why is so much effort involved? one possibility is that old mental patterns and preconceptions interfere with it, even if they are subconcsious, and the qigong and nei dan gong break thru those patterns and reestablish our free and natural communication with the universe. another possibility is that the living beings--sun, moon, stars, shen--all want the effort to be made before they respond to us. they want to know we're serious about transformation before they provide it. the practice i did with the sun and moon begging for transportation to the next level of work did take me there partially. and i had inklings of the alchemical mixture of sun and moon flashing in my mind. but i was uncertain and ended up asking chen yuming for the key. perhaps he was the agent of the beings i was working with. perhaps he was just a guy i asked for help in order to get a short cut. anyway, i must now return to qigong and internal alchemy to make further progress and see where it goes. intent apparently must be more than just an idea. it must be empassioned, the action imminent. i'm going to post this on HT as well for those who dont visit both lists.)
  14. see the gallery for a diagram i uploaded describing the plains indian sweatlodge as an externalization of daoist internal alchemy. i don't have time right now to get more into it. i'll post an article or something with more info if i can later. this diagram though should genrate some healthy discussion.
  15. native american/daoist correlations

Way of the Scout was a really cool fuckin book. i think that was the one that put me ove rthe edge, so to speak, and got me making very serious life changes. of course, there were a number of classes to back me up for that. the most amazing classes i took there wre the higher level philosphy courses, way of the coyote, search and resue, and scout philosophy. i haven't been around the school much for a few years and it's changed a lot since then, like the move to florida, for example. but, my experiences there were really extraordinary. all kinds of things come to and happen to the open minded. i recommend starting off with a couple of classes int he pine barrens since that place has all the magic of where it all started. you camp and attend classes right in the exact same place tom, rick, and grandfather had they're camps. funny thing is i was conceived there on a warm semptember evening at bamber lake (about 6 miles from the primmitive camp) and tom was spying on my parents when it happened. hahahahaha! when i showed up at tracker school i guess it was just like going home.
  16. mentholated cunnilingus

this reminds me a hysterical movie if you can find it. it's a softcore porn thing called "a chinese turture chamber story." only disc 2 is worth watching for this great scene that spoofs hing kong kung fu movies flicks. this guy and a woman do sexual king fu, but it's not mantak chia at all. it's basically a kung fu fight, but what they try to do is out screw each other. in this scene they trash talk each other with all the bravado of kung fu films and the guy, at one point pins the woman and proclaims he will use the "invincible tongue." mrs. columbo and i had real hoot. tried the move later that night to see how it worked.
  17. gravity and other phenomena

gravity also pulls from above. sun and moon cause tides. think of what your sun and moon do to your ocean of qi.
  18. mentholated cunnilingus

just remember the best food is under the table.......
  19. mentholated cunnilingus

speaking of flavors...... here's what i don't get, and i might be telling more than you want to know, but to hell with it. chinese girls, the sichuan ones in particular, always have a very mild odor and flavor. it surprises me even more with the sichuanese owing to the diet of nuclear hotpot they eat. similar things can be said of the hunan girls who's diet is also comprised of fissionable material. shit, it's not just mild, it's downright sweet tasting. no exceptions in my experience. yet back in america there is such a diversity of "happy valleys" you never know what you're going to get into.
  20. mentholated cunnilingus

you hear? i'd like to hear mrs. columbo......making.......sounds........
  21. Eastern/Western Alchemy

the ego is the psychological elements that imprison the soul and prevent its realization, in daoist terms, the fulfillment of its destiny. psychjological here goes beyond the mere chemical reactions in the brain and the models of freud, jung, berne and others. it includes transcental asp[ects of the psyche. the ego is actually comprised of soul fragments that are polarized, or focused on, the material world and all its "problems" and "illusions"--fame, wealth, sadness, jealousy, attachment, and so on. these fragments need to be repolarized with your authentic self--the "Being". michael winn and mantak chia address this issue to some extant with the fusion work and michael gives specific meditations to do it. however, there is very little elaboration of what he's doing and no discussion at all about this work in the context of cultivation.
  22. Eastern/Western Alchemy

i practiced western alchemy for 13 years. ther's too much fire in it. they also focus on chakras and don't have a complete orbit. they focus (at least in my experience) on the immortality of the flesh, while at the same time burning it up with fire. my cousin got into it the same time i did and switched to daoist methods and led me to them also. something for which i am very grateful. one thing i really respect in western alchemy though is the work with ego that HT and other daoists i've encountered often neglect.

  25. Dealing with the Force, #3

stared doing standing ab wheel or "superman rollouts" as they are called onthe website where i got um. i don't use a wall though cuz i like the pucker factor of doing them straight out. you pay more attention and work at it harder. i'm getting very good results with it.
