  1. What we should point out here really quick is and I say this without attacking you personally thunder_gooch is that any decent Neigong practitioner is also part of a cosmic brotherhood which consists not only of your living teachers but also your teachers on a higher level. Some people here react in a hostile way towards you as they are very familiar with this unspoken code of conduct that is a serious fact for anyone with a true tie to a lineage. A good student would never attack a lineage holder from another school (in this case Ya Mu) in the way you do and this is not about ego or politics, this is about being part of a traditon and being a man of cultivation. So respect your elder tongkosong here, please. Otherwise you are seriously messing up your Karma. So take care brother! PS: I suggest working on your liver-qi :P

No thanks on any of your advice.

  2. I've seen a few practitioners get really messed up due to how they go into their practice. So it is definitely possible. There is far more to it than weightlifting, much much more involved on much deeper levels.

One example is that I've never personally seen anyone end up in the psyche ward from weightlifting, nor dead from it.

I'm not saying people can't screw themselves up with practices. Most of these practices are bogus gibberish. Lot's of people develop qigong/kundalini psychosis because they start doing random crap and mixing practices and inventing things and make themselves extremely unbalanced.

There aren't that many real systems remaining that go anywhere or do anything, it's just a bunch of silly people doing silly things.

  3. I also think the mentally unbalanced neigong practitioner get hurt way worse then the unstable weightlifter.

Except that some of the most powerful ones stuck to their training out of spite and hatred and malevolence, revenge being their motivation and got to an extremely high level, beyond John Chang even.

I've seen serious 'practitioners' lose family, friends and descend into paranoia and madness.

The problem is thelerner, truth be told there aren't many serious "practitioners". I honestly and sincerely doubt you or anyone else here has ever met one.

I'll take a "placebo" that cures cancer a half decent amount of the time.

Er about the whole sour grapes thing; I think I have to go make tea ;).... in my.... kettle.... :D.

Lot's of people get cancer and recover on their own when their immune system discovers it, they would have gotten better treatment or no treatment.

The thing is just like Reki, these healers provide a catalyst for people to believe they will get better.

  5. Sorry tongkosong, you are not mopai expert even though you are an actual student of John Chang. Everyone knows more_pie_guy is the authority on everything mopai since he can quote magus of java better than everyone, and we all know that book is the utimate truth on neigong. So unless you battle and beat more_pie_guy on quoting magus of java, you have no power here. :D

You either care about what Chang taught his students or you don't No Cause. I care.

  6. If Jim and Kosta are such great experts on neigong, why can't they shoot lightning out of their asses like you can. Clearly you are more advanced than them. You know more about neigong than any mopai students existing or even John chang since none of them can shoot lightning out of their asses better than you do. :D

You can attack me all you like, but I deeply care about what Chang actually taught his students.

If you don't more power to you.

If you are just here to troll, there actually is a thread for that where you can troll to your heart's content.

  7. Ya Mu, there is no point arguing with more_pie_guy, don't you know he is the internet authority on neigong? He has read magus of java and he can quote from it better than anyone existing. He knows all the theory of neigong even more than any actual mopai students or john chang himeslef becasue he has read magus of java many times. Don't you know that that book contains all the truth of neigong practice and contains no errors even though the author did not speak chinese nor indonesian? A book relying on a translation by a bare beginner in neigong is the most authentic source of information, everyone knows that. :lol

Both Jim and Kosta know exactly what they were taught. You can plug your ears, cover your eyes and scream "neener neener neener I'm not listening." until you are blue in the face if you like though.

  8. The problem is there are people who post - a lot - who don't even practice anything, who have never studied any complete system, who promote basic misinformation due to their ignorance of what is actually out there.

Sugar pills or any other placebo, can possibly achieve effects - but only truly effective therapeutics keep achieving those effects. Anyone who actually studied this would know that if someone were given sugar pills for pain, and it initially works, it won't keep on working - the effect degrades. And anyone who actually studied medical qigong would know that the effect works repeatedly.

    If you say so.

IN MY OPINION- Mo Pai should be separated from John Chang.

In the western world, there might as well be No Mo Pai.

72 levels- and all unknown -minus 2.

Though those two levels are potent- and can be used a lifetime (a short lifetime)

That's like playing chess with 2 chess pieces.

    Is it still Chess?

The Bushmen have an excellent system- but try learning it.

Now I will state- IN MY EXPERIENCE- some of what westerners call Mo Pai has some built in trip-n-falls

However, I hear Dragon Ball Z is a very good system

I've said this to others and now to you.

You either want something real or you want to play make believe.

Mo pai level one even if that's all we will ever have will lead you to a level that almost no one else on earth is at.

Almost everyone else on earth dies with a completely empty LDT, even people pursuing spiritual practices.

Mo Pai level one is a real practice, and even by itself more complete than virtually every other system you've ever heard about or anyone else has either.

The question is do you want something real, or do you just want to keep yourself entertained till you die?

  10. Well actually I did not want to engage in this heated debate but I think some things should be pointed out that only practitioners that have real Nei Gong experience know. E.g. it has been stated over and over again that Nei Gong is not about character

Nothing could be further from the truth. I know for a fact that when your Chi and Shen are strongly connected (especially when you are working with more martially related energies) it could literally kill you if you have no control over your emotions as you would seriously hurt your internal organs with this attitude. This is why some well known martial artists and Tai Chi masters (who where also famous for their bad temper) died in their late fifties or early sixties. Nature is wise and won't give true power into the hand of morons or only to sort them out. This sounds a bit harsh but I am very familiar with teachers from an occult and tantric background also and they all say the same. If you develop true power and acquire real Siddhis you should have a stable personality or these forces will destroy you. It all comes down to being a good and moral person with compassion for others. I consider being able to heal and uplift others as the greatest Siddhi of them all. I firmly believe true power comes to those that want to serve.

Sounds good on paper, but you can be a mentally unstable weightlifter, it's the same with neigong.

How hard and how much you train is what get's you there.

If you believe otherwise more power to you.

  11. Pure Land Buddhism seems an easier way to step off the cycle of birth and death than MoPai.

I've heard of no beings achieving anything other than non dual awareness via any form of Buddhist meditation. Such individuals undergo the same change at death that virtually every other spirit on earth does.

Mental realization or un-realization has no relation to the development of your spirit.

  12.

I've talked with other people who claim to have access to the spirit world.

All I am claiming is you can come see for yourself. I try my best not to talk about my own experiences because they aren't believable. The best I can do is tell people to come see for themselves.

Their explanations were quite a bit more complex than yours.

You don't have to listen to anything anyone else says about anything, you can come see directly for yourself. No faith required. No belief required.

There is, according to a friend of mine

I don't give a sack of manure what your friend claims, I am telling you to come see for yourself and make up your own mind.

  13. he tries to light it, fails, tries again, fails

    He needed a ground.

even if legitimate they show tiny tiny amounts of power,

As much respect as I have for JC he is no where near his teachers level, even then he did these demonstrations with a fraction of a percent of his full ability.

  14.

Well he did reach another level of being

    No he didn't.

proving it scientifically is a farce

Wim Hof did a pretty good job, and so did JC.

Someone who advances far in nei kung will not be so evil.

Has nothing to do with your character any more than weight lifting does.

a lot of meditation will cause a person to confront and heal his dark side.

Has nothing to do with that.
