  1. I'd like to issue a challenge to the community.

Most of you don't like me, and I don't like most of you.

You want me gone, and I don't particularly like being here either.

So let's reach some sort of closure shall we?

I feel you guys need to cough up some sort of cathartic hair ball, before you can move on so either we will get this hairball out or I will get banned from this forum.

My idea is for you all to post in my personal practice forum here:

    http://thetaobums.com/topic/33037-community-challenge/

Say whatever you want, pick a fight if you want, whatever, no holds barred.

But let's get this out of your system, or let's reach the point that my account is banned.

The gauntlet has been thrown down.

  2. I just saw the LED light up by John Chang video. I'm willing to believe, though they certainly didn't show the set up and its naive to think any skilled magician couldn't hide a battery from a someone with a slow moving metal detector. I believe some gi gong masters have some electrical ability. I know the Healing Tao has hosted at least one person who has the knack.

Still, a tiny LED light takes only a tiniest amount of electricity to turn on. Miniscule. Same with giving someone an electrical shock. What I'm saying is, if he's the final endzone master. Its not very impressive. Certainly not of itself. Someone with a AA battery is probably more powerful then 'the master' since he had problems lighting it and had to reposition it etc.

On the third hand, I'm sure he's a great master. He seems friendly, calm and knowledgeable. Its too bad Westerners seem to have hung a level 72 around his neck. I'm sure its stifling.

I am still working on rebuttals to your other replies in the locked thread, I'll post them in my PPF as soon as I can.

You are welcome to plug your ears and invent all sorts of excuses on why his demonstration can't be legit.

The fact remains he was stripped to a shirt, he was checked for metal with a metal detector, the head of the mindscience foundation was present, as was a medical doctor and a biophysicist, he was taken to a random hotel room for a second demo as well.

Taping a single AA battery to your skin would not allow you to shock other people, I think Brian said he was an EE and can probably vouch for this even though he too has an axe to grind against mo pai.

As to the weakness of his demonstrations, you do realize all of that was done with less than 1% of his total ability right?

Compared to a level 50 or higher however his abilities even at their zenith still pale in comparison.

As to lighting the lightbulb, he needed a ground for current to flow through into, the wall didn't work so he needed someone else to act as a ground.

ANYWAY has anyone decided yet if More Pie Guy needs more discipline or not ... and if so what form will this discipline take ... will the stone of shame be attached to his neck .... electric Chi chair ... a stern rousing on ...

or will he be forced to wear a patch on his jacket saying 'JC is not awesome' .... ooooo ,,,, you start that you are going to have to make a LOT of those patches!

I will take a handful for the hermetic forum thanks. ;)

To the best of my knowledge the only real forum rule here is no personal attacks.

I do my best not to personally insult other people.

They passed a new rule on spam, so I've tried to combine my posts as much as possible especially when it becomes a debate.

If they do ban/suspend whatever basically what it will boil down to is "We don't like your point of view, so you are no longer welcome to publicly express it here."

If that's the case I am fine with that, I will continue to defend what I believe to be true and continue to support it as best I can with the best evidence I know of whenever it is brought up or made an issue till my very last day on this forum.

The video clip is ... a video clip, If I have the experience myself, I may change my mind and outlook ... but change it from watching a video clip .... seriously ?

(Yeah I know but I worked in the film industry for years I also watched a 'doco' on mermaids once that was backed up by scientists and people of good reputation ... at the end the credits said (fine print) that the scientists and qualifications were added to give the story a 'documentary feel' )

But whatever, carry on, don't mind me .... if he comes to my place and shows me he can do it fine ... I change my attitude (please, on a cloudy day ... I connect him up to my solar panel (PS ... no static electricity build -up and discharge ... even I can do that to people .... my sister used to hate it bzzzzt ! Yow! ... : MUUUUM! He did it to me again :D )

It wasn't a documentary about mermaids. You can watch him him be stripped to a shirt, checked for metal with a metal detector and be taken to a random location by a biophysicist, a medical doctor, and the head of the mind science foundation.

He never charged his students nor his patients nor accepted donations.

No faith is required, you can investigate the practice yourself and see for yourself firsthand that it isn't BS.

  5. "and everyone else here is talking about how wearing a 10mg necklace charm makes them a weightlifter."

I disagree, "edit to add that comment also feels insulting to the practitioners here at TTB" and I also I think that's not an answer to

I don't believe their paths will lead them to any significant level of energetic development, at least in comparison to an ascended human like someone at pai lok nen's level.

That's just how I feel honestly.

As to your other questions, they are loaded and I won't answer them as there is no right way to answer them.

I speak my mind honestly, and I try not to personally insult others in the process, I don't have much respect for systems and paths that I don't see as meaningful or generating meaningful results via practice. I only respect paths that are able to be studied and validated under scientific and or medical observation.

    That's just how I am.

  6.

    MPG your original post was

99% of people on earth aren't cultivating much of anything and I intended this to mean energetically.

    is not

Seeing as 99% of people here don't cultivate anything at all, no I'd say it probably doesn't.

You chose to word posts the way you do.

    Why?

Do you like the controversy you generate?

Do you want to insult people here?

If there are beings that are energetically close to John Chang's level here on this forum posting it's news to me.

Energetic development and cultivation are hard to quantify, so let's put it in terms of weight lifting. Say people I would consider to have cultivated themselves energetically to a significant level bench press weights in the quindecillions of kilograms, and everyone else I've ever spoken with in person or on a forum might be in the tens of miligrams.

I see that wide a gap in difference of ability.

Not only that that the training programs they have will never exceed lifting weights out of the milligram range by design.

The commonly held view is that there are hundreds of thousands "masters" who are super advanced and can do all this awesome stuff, and I don't believe that is true at all.

Even these masters at best might pump a few grams on their best of days, which is still lightyears behind an ascended being.

I don't know of any other weight training programs that help people go from lifting 10 miligrams to amounts beyond a quindecillion kilograms, other than system x and a few unknown others similar to it.

From my point of view at least in part this is a place to talk about lifting weights, and everyone else here is talking about how wearing a 10mg necklace charm makes them a weightlifter.

I just don't see it that way, sure I mean that's cool I guess but compared to the realization of ultimate human potential it's just well... absurd... at least to me it is anyway.

I am sure there are a lot of people who find happiness and inner peace or whatever else it is they find, but that's not my cup tea at all.

  7. I second this. He recently sent me a pm to engage in some argument and then sent me more pms when I didn't do so.....

He bashes chikung teachers, repeats himself constantly, makes accusations and insults other practitioners. He does this while providing no new info or insights into anything Taoist. No new teachers or books or training exps or just some insightful info on the path....

I sent you a pm letting you know you had a response:

    http://thetaobums.com/topic/32932-for-thamosh/

The original thread was closed so I couldn't post in there.

  8. I know I have to apparantely quote some exact things hes said. But recently on a thread I made about nervousness, he seems to flood the thread, with his constant excessively hateful, arragant and insulting comments continously calling everyone on this forum 99.9% "new age fuck tards"

In my opinion to continue to allow this kind of disrespect is unjust.

It is not just me but many posters are bombarded with this kind of disrespect.

I believe you are misquoting me here.

99% of people on earth aren't cultivating much of anything and I intended this to mean energetically.

Lot's of people cultivate compassion, insight, wisdom etc, energetically not so much.

  9. Before I drift off to sleep, I usually stay for long periods in trance state. Sometimes during that state I play around, not the same as lucid dreaming but still... One time I looked into the sun and had to get up in real life to use the bathroom, when I got up from the bed I had bright sunspots, even though the sun only existed in my mind.

  10. I *think* what MPG is getting at is that different people's energies affect one another. He's naturally repelled by newage energy, and at a guess it would be mutual.

I've noticed that the various qigong and martial arts exercises that one does daily REALLY helps to keep others' energies out of one's energy body :) :) :).

I wouldn't use the word energy so much, most people have no more than they were born into the world with.

I am repelled by newage personalities.

  11. Nihao; I'm not sure if my post got through or not as my computer hiccuped just as I was about to post. I am a teacher of Nei gung and have been since the early 1970's. I am willing to share my journey and arts to anyone who might be interested. I learned from another master and he from a master in Northern China. The arts are ancient but not secret. The system of Kung fu I study is called Tao Ping fa. Personnally I can change my weight 60 pounds, make a guitar hum at 10 feet, and move people visably around plus another bunch of stuff.. If you guys aren't already painfully aware, mo pai and any other neigong lineage that people are interested in draws in the con artists and psychopaths like moths to a flame.

Be real careful in who you trust, if they want money just assume it's a scam.

Lots of people claim lots of things, and almost all of them are full of absolute bull****.

  12. Hello, i'm on this forum for one reason: i want to learn a system of nei kung and i'm searching for written documentation or an instructor able to teach me. initially i was keen on mo pai, but there are two bad things: levels are quite long (i heard that long men pai levels are easier to achieve) and shifu lin as far as i know can teach to western men only the first 2 levels.

i'm now interested in long men psi but seminars cost not little and are held always far away from where i live, so i hope to find an advanced student capable of teaching it

Any system that does anything at all will require the same amount of time dedicated to practice as mo pai.

  13. Yes, I know, but there is no way to turn on a led without flow of electrons which would be electricity. JC also produces a great amount of heat, maybe he uses this kind of energy when the scientists try to measure him with the voltmeter.

The truth is we don't know exactly what this energy is, especially yin chi.

It is something our science hasn't delved into nor understands yet.

Lot's of people are very uncomfortable admitting that there can be technologies we don't yet understand, and aspects of physics and chemistry we don't yet grasp.

However that is exactly the case here.

“Interaction.” John rolled the word around on his tongue. “Like

    electricity, positive and negative?”

    “I guess.”

“Not quite correct.” He paused. “But you know, one time I let a

student of mine hook me up to a voltmeter and an amperometer. He

registered no voltage, but I blew the amp-meter off the scale. I burned

    the machine!”

“Are you telling me that ch’i has amperage but does not have

    voltage?”

“I think so. For example, I can withstand household electrical

current indefinitely without pain, but I cannot light up a lightbulb. I

    have tried, many times.”

I thought about that. Clinical investigation in medical laborato-

ries seems to indicate that the electrical resistance of the skin changes

markedly at acupuncture points. There are “electrical acupuncture

machines” that make use of this phenomenon to locate the points

for neophytes. This is an indication that ch’i and voltage are some-

how inversely related (though other explanations have been offered).

But I was to find out years later that

    John was wrong. His ch’i in fact displayed neither voltage nor amperage;

rather, it was an entirely different phenomenon, based on very different forces.

  14. Or how about all the people I have loved (wondering with your wording if emotion is relevant here or not?) but that we just lost contact with each other over time.

All possible realities (and people therein) exist already, even though you've moved to a new location those old locations you were once in still exist and are still actively populated by mindstreams as real as yours.

For instance remember 5 years ago, the BKK of 5 years ago is still there in that cafe having mint mocha and biscotti (or whatever), and that experience is being lived by a mindstream just as real as your own. The same goes for each choice and path you could have made in life. All are populated by mindstreams as real as your own.

So in that sense the people you know that died are still living, it's hard to say in regards to the actual mindstreams however as you interact with infinite numbers of them as time for you progresses.

  15. OK soooooo, how does that work for folks who take the immortality path and actually manage it? Can they not manage it unless all the debts are paid before death (this seems to follow the thinking of some writings), or is it more like your first however many years of it is paying those off, or more like you don't ever pay them off? As I seem to have experienced, karma gets paid off all the time, day to day, in this lifetime (or perhaps that is just that spell I did regarding karma here and now instead of later which I didn't put enough pre-thought into?)

I've never met a level 72, but I would assume that the rules of the game no longer apply at that point. Kind of going from being a customer at a casino, to the owner of a casino.

  16.

So as you and I are having a conversation, there are an entire heap of you, and an entire heap of me and swapping out?

Pretend the multiverse is static, unmoving, unchanging.

What is moving is your consciousness, like a pulse of energy moving through a wire.

As time progresses reality around you isn't what's moving, you are.

In front of and behind you and in every other possible direction there are other mindstreams all who believe themselves to be you and in fact they have as much claim to that title as you do.

None of them however have bodies, they only have the experience of having a body which isn't the same thing.

As you make choices you navigate between realities, if you are speaking with another person, you will not be speaking to just one person, you will be moving past an infinite number of mindstreams each of them believing they are that person.

At each moment in time and space for which there is an observer it is populated by mindstream as real as your own.

I wouldn't call it swapping out, so much as it's just your movement through time and space.

  17.

I'd quite enjoy being able to hop around and explore several :). I mean in more than just my visions/astral or whatever.

That's all you or anyone else has ever done since birth.

The present moment isn't a firm static reality, it's a nexus between realities.

As you make choices, think thoughts, etc, you are moving between realities each and every moment you are alive.

Also the me of a moment ago is no longer the same mindstream, but rather another mindstream with an identical history.

As time progresses you will interact with an infinite amount of mindstreams you believe to be one person, yet as each individual mindstream makes choices it will move to other realities.

Right now everyone you ever loved that died, that system of information still exists and is populated by active mindstreams still believing they are that person.

Everything we could do in our lifetime had already been done before we were born.

Every possible life action and outcome exists just as real and is also populated by a mindstream living it's life believing it is you, because it is.

All ideas you could have, books you could read, things you could do, all of those existed prior to your birth.

All realities exist as real as all others, future, present and past are just perspectives that exist in relation to your location at any given moment.

OK I'm curious then... say I do something "bad" like hit someone for no reason.

Does this automatically bring negative karma?

More like, if I have plenty of money in my bank account and buy a pair of shoes does it matter?

At death all debts come due, and all payments are made or at least that is my understanding.

Perhaps a drop in the bucket doesn't matter at the moment but over time it adds up.

Sounds like temporary heaven gets in the way just as much as temporary hell...

Well either way your account will reach zero before the next stage before rebirth.

Have you ever seen a direct or indirect result of your actions and just *known* it was the ripples of karma in action? Pretty interesting stuff.

    Yes.

  18. All realities that could exist, do exist.

All realities are just as real, just as alive, just as populated with mindstreams (as real as yours) as the one you are in right now.

The reality you currently reside in, is the one your mindstream has navigated to via your actions thoughts etc. That's karma.

Karma is burning your hand on a hot object, or winding up in the wrong neighborhood at 1am.

For every action there is a consequence, most are unforeseen.

If your third eye were open you would be able to realize the consequences of your actions before you performed them invoking a sort of retro-causality.

Chang says there is indeed a bank account like system for our actions while alive, if the bank account is in the red you go to a temporary hell where you burn it off via suffering, and if in the black you experience a temporary heaven to burn off the good karma. Neither state lasts forever.
