  1. How to manipulate or control chi?

    Intent, relaxation, and practice. I can sometimes feel the fieldaround my body when I'm relaxed in meditation. It moves with my breath.
  2. Sexual Energy

    Meditate, relax.. This is easier the first time on your own. Stimulate to near momentous finish and pull back. I mean it in two ways. Bring the feeling to your back, and stop touching the throbbing thing so you don't finish and make a mess of things before the "job" is done. Once you can keep the feeling in your back it should be simple enough to aloow yourself to finish and direct the energy up the spine to the brain. Hurt the first time I did it. It's like hitting yourself in the brain from the inside. Although I assume that means there is a clogging issue with the higher centers.

  6. It seems crazy, just insane to want enlightenemnet when you think of the probably concequences doesn't it? At least spelling isn't on the ciriteria list. Hey, 11:33. Who takes care of things after you get hit by a bus? If you really want this, go for it. If not - stay away from it.
  7. Fire Chakra/Attention Deficit Disorder

    I was diagnosed with ADD and TURRETTS (However you spell it) Besides the ticking noises, repeating my sentences twice and touching random "itches" that I felt all over my body I had a few issues. I don't suggest medication by the way. My own experience with meds was very, very depressing. What has worked best for me are mind training meditations, and excersise/sports. Or taking a strong interest in a hobby. Such as Soaring or Scuba Diving. For meditation, try counting. One number on the inhale, and the next on the exhale. Count up to 5 or more when you feel comfortable. It helps focus. Just one thing that helped me.
  8. Power of the Mind

    The mind is very powerful, and it allows the possiblity of completely walling yourself off from reality. Justifing events that have no explaination other than the obvious psychic connection to any number of things. The mind has the power to control our reality in the sense that it is possible to see everything from a negetive viewpoint, or in contrast a very bright outlook. The mind is where we learn our behaviors and where sits our judgments about others or the information we take in. Either it comes in as the author wished it or as a very biased or jaded view. Just as someone can see someone of another race as being lesser than themself someone can use the mind to either work productively at solving issues or problems or set it to being devistating. When the mind goes haywire any number of hallucinations can take place or paranioa become dominant. I'd say that the mind is very powerful. When someone "sets their mind to it" they can create amazing works of art and media. Come up with hilarious comedy or soul touching drama. It is not something to be overlooked or wasted by lack of education, as you can sometimes tell by my grammer and spelling or punctuation. What sort of experience do you mean? I ask becuase I feel that I may have one or two or several hundred.
  9. Hi Dao, I feel that situations circulate, you don't learn everything about yourself at once and situations change. Perhpas you've reached one stage of enlightenmnet, not longer feeling a need for it (Which may change into enlightenment) Anyway nothing is wrong with developing strong compassion. Its a step many overlook. My favorite healing practice is Reiki, perhaps look into that... If you like it I'll point you to someone who will teach for free and is very good. Hope you find your answer, its not easy. Good luck.

    In my opinion, many road blocks on the path can be removed or jumped over by learning surrendering. I can't vouch for Kunlun via personal experience, but have noticed when taking a...Hard to describe.. Yin like, surrendering.. Sorta... Just letting go and allowing the energy to move the way it will. Such as in "Bliss of inner fire" I never even needed to use the whole visualization. I just used some basics that made sense and started getting palpable results. When learning spirit channeling, it never worked unless I could surrender into one I invited in. I suggest "just doing" at times, especially when moving energy, the less crap that is in the way the better. I find that practice such as Zazen have some very good points, although I still fidn that I have to remove what doesn't work for me. I hope my advice helps some of you. From what I gather from my original Reiki teacher, that first form where you lift your heels and just hold your arms up (I've seen the picture) He tuned directly into the energy after he did the surrender thing. He has yet to run into or speak to a Kunlun practictioner. I'd just say, if something doesn't work for you, go ahead and throw it out the window, move on and concentrate on what works for you, instead of hating what doesn't.
  11. Endurance on the path

    I'm looking for advice from those who have developed some consistant results in energy development. EX: Using a technique that always works wonderfully or creating more "charge". I'm 22, in my senior year of high school 05/06 era, I was able to develop enough energy in my body to be felt by the more sensitive, and even in return feel those who had some level of development. That's all I'll say about it, my longest meditations only lasted about two hours, I worked alot with the Robert Bruce "NEW" system and was almost constantly working with Reiki, sending and reciving healings and attunements as I taught myself about this crazyness, fun stuff. About 3 years ago I joined the Military service and I had to restructure my life.. What bothers me is that I feel that I have lost much of that sensitivity and charge, then my 'learning' took new curves and I'm in a stranger realm, but without as much charge and drive as I have been putting much more energy into work and taking care of daily business. Often feeling too tired to meditate after work. I would like to regain my charge and sort off restart my path, keeping the new stuff I've learned, but also getting back that well of energy I had been creating, slowly but surely.. I went to a Tai Chi Chuan instructor and can remember the majority of the form, not the movments at the very end though, and I cant access youtube from the Gov computers. Ah, well I suppose I can incorportate the last steps later when I can refresh my memory online. ( I really enjoyed that practice, nothing else made me sweat, wear out my legs and at the same time incredibly relax my body, amazing) I've just about taught myself to constantly breath with my diaphram, its not perfect but I'm doing very well on that front, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to add the Mulbandh/Root lock into my walk to start generating, pulling energy into my lower centers. My favorite meditations used to inlude breath watching until I was so relaxed I either fell into myself, or outside myself. (That second one happend much less often) Or meditating until I could feel my aura expanding and contracting off my skin. I'd then shift my awareness to the energy surrounding my body and let it contract and expand further into myself and outside myself.. Seemed to stregthen it alot. A mistake I made at first was watching my energy while laying on my back, I would work too often on the sensations on the front of my body and forget the back, or even the sides.. Also, has anyone ran into a website, or person who can send Reiki/Energy healing distantly? Being a Reiki healer myself, and doing that sort of thing distantly has been a joy to me, but really feel the need to ask for a bit of assitance, maybe even pay for an online session from someone with ability. (My own perceptions haven't developed very well regarding that so I prefer taking advice from those who have had good results until I'm learnt enough on my ownsome to determine that without paying in advance to find out I got jipped) I'm not in the most stressful situation, but I think the healing would help me clear out my mind and concentrate on turning my negetive views on my enviroment around a bit, introspection is slow right now. I'm weaning myself off my old Reiki instructor as much as possible. Its great fun learning together but I already owe him so much I don't want to start going to him for healings too. If I seem vague or anything needs clarification please let me know. I don't always communicate very well.

    To help others understand I can send what little I've experienced out here.. Moving in an "upward" direction from my crown chakra I found a place, like a large living energy full of souls, connecting to other lives. Its very interesting as to what can be found in that place. I need to develop more fully before I can reach it again without help. But yay for workshops and people who give you that extra "push"...

    My experience has been really nice in that area. Attracted a wolf. It seems nice enough, even if it does snap at people who project to me. Other than that a friend of mine has a really nice guide who hugs me when I come for visits. Its a pleasant feeling.
  14. Psychic phenomena

    One strange thing that has happened to me is after a while people started jumping when I walked by, one teacher in my old high school told me that I frightened her, it was becuase she felt me walking past her. Although that sort of thing dies down when you stop practicing. I'm trying to recapture the fun now.

    Kunlun is something that doesn't require much, after reading the e-book my Reiki teacher started having wonderful results, from his first trial run. What is the dealy-o? Did someone else not get very good results and become upset? I just can't imagine reading 36 pages to catch up.
  16. Don't be dissuaded by the negetive feelings. Some things can only be worked out thorugh feeling them out. Also, look into the secret smile meditation that Varj posted elsewhere. Its a goody! Endurance helps, even though these feelings are coming in keep meditating, but not only that, follow the feelings to the source, or allow them to surface fully. You'll learn your own method of letting them go if need be. A quick fix is to scoop the bad energy out and replace it with what is needed over several sessions. Even if everything is cleared out at once it will normally come back, unless the underlying pyschological cause is dealt with by the one who needs to heal. But scooping out the energy and manually placing positive energy in its place can show you how that area feels when it is healthy to begin with. (Which can really help.) Its easy to go into massive, intensive detail after you've been healing for a few years - but I won't bore you with that. I'd just suggest you jump into something and give it a go! Find what works and blast this stuff away! Good luck man!
  17. Spontaneous Qigong; A Report.

    I didn't read the article. Feel like posting personal experience would help somehow. Anyway - After doing Chi Kung sessions I'll pay as close attention to my breathing as possible and let my body and limbs move freely. Sometimes the movements get fairly wild, or thrashy. Its more about letting the previous practice and energies built up distribute and clean out the body. Works well enough for me. Good luck guys. Oh, does anyone else here get spontaneous belly laughter when higher energy is absorbed?

  19. A strange psychic visit

    Erdwier, It sounds to me like you nearly did the astral projection thing, from the energy sensations and the lights you saw. The dark shape you saw was probably a manifestation of your fears, balancing your mind and emotions will remove that sort of thing, and help with the subconcious manifesting. Otherwise next time you start to get out you can affirm that how safe you actaully are, and use your imagination to blow away that sort of thing easily. Good luck.

    I think you just explained things nearly the same way I was taught but with different words. I work with soul mirroring and introspection when I can handle looking myself in the mirror, reflect on my efforts and the outcome, what caused what.. More or less things seem to work better for me when I give up control but keep the intent in mind. Either its just teaching the body to constantly breath with the diaphram or to work with a meditation where the body is hollow, and full of light. Energy is pulled through both sides of the nose to the base where a fire develops and heat rises up the spine. The more it becomes as if someone else is doing it, and automatic I experience more effects. That is not to say that forceful directed thought has no effect. I can contact people accidently by "pinging" them just by thinking about them, but those who know how to listen will only know I'm speaking to them unless I concentrate on them. Cutting out the frustration and making it joyful and playful as you mentioned is important and I find that my friends and I find it easier to do energy anything when in such a mood. Even when it comes to spiritual communication or channeling. Laughter often comes from contact with higher energy. I like that. A friend of mine describes some of this as letting go of resistance. We resist when we can just let go, and it comes naturally.

    Hi Gold, I'd like to say that rules exist beyond anything I have contemplated or made a belief. I've sent Reiki attunements to people who venehemtly disbelieve in energy and after sending that energy to a person felt it come back to me, almost as if it was being pushed away. Many of the effects I have had happen without my knowing or expections, or even intent. Mostly, if you have ever tried to effect someone using energy yourself you may notice that cause and effect will teach you so much more than "just thinking" May I suggest diving right in to a practice that moves "energy" and practicing energy movement and techniques apun others? There is so much we don't know, but what I do know is that through the process of healing energy i've helped many others. In direct ways, that I even did not expect. The universe must have decided that I have good karma, becuase I've been given so much on the 'spiritual side' that sometimes I take it for granted. Conceptualizing energy techniques can allow people to do very advanced techniques long before they actually do any energy work. A friend of mine was intelligent as yourself and managed just that. Maybe that comes from being a scientist with a love of Reiki and meditation? Dunno! Also, my charge has dropped significantly since my transfer to a battalion - I lost alot of concetration and time to practice, but if you ever want me to send you energy or something for you to experiment with I would be willing. I don't have any "rules" that mean you have to pay me, or we have to be in a formal setting. I just follow my heart. Good luck.

  23. "Lama Yeshe's book" Bliss of Inner Fire. I don't get consitant results. But I love those "OMG, its warm! Or OMG it suddenly feels good!" Moments. I like the practice its so strange and cool. Sometimes my heart feels good, sometimes the top of my head.. It fluctuates.

    Reminds me of my Reiki 'attunement' I wonder if I would have been able to access it so quickly without it? I bet not. Hagar, doesn't this also apply to finding people in projections? If I can remember how that person felt sometimes I justg find myself experiencing a small amount of whatever that person is experiencing, most especially if it is a strong emotion. Secret Smile! I don't want to send anything not at strong and healthy! Although the Reiki works wonders...
