We live in an energetic sea. Inherent in words is energy. The energy experienced can vary: The actual meaning, perceived meaning, and also the energy and intent of the author. One person's energetic nick is another's incision.

In the spiritual world there are âghost immortals.â They are very mortal, Only given the title because they represent an energetic extreme. Unlike the pure yang of a golden immortal, Their energy is pure yin. As yin is gross, formed, closer to earth, People will feel, sense, and respond to ghost immortals quickly. They will always attract many followers. Often these followers feel like they have gained abilities. And they have: Their energies have dropped to the level of their teacher. This relationship is like playing in the mud-- There is splashing, and more splashing. Ghost immortals are not evil. They are just deluded. This makes them more unpredictable. The spiritual world can be dangerous-- Not unlike paddling a canoe in the dark night. We can lose ourselves without knowing it. I hope we can all be careful.

Why do i feel lighter after eating a vegetarian diet, and grounded/heavy after eating lots of meat?
rainbowvein replied to Ryan94's topic in Healthy Bums
Everything has a chi profile. You can't escape that. People, things, food, activities, places, and more. Yin foods/herbs/activities/cultivation practices help you to feel grounded. Meat, grains, some tonic herbs (like schizandra), many tai chi or chi gong forms, walking in nature. Yang foods/herbs/activities/cultivation practices may make some feel light, even ungrounded. Raw salads, light herbal teas (such as peppermint), sun salutations at dawn, spiritual teachings from achieved teachers, listening to a thunderstorm. How is one going to head to the heavens if one is always grounded? (I saw your other post today.) Strike a balance. I know a chi gung teacher who is vegan weekdays but eats fish and meat on the weekends. I have experienced both lightness and heaviness in my cultivation. But it's the lightness that will carry me to the heavens. (I was a vegetarian but now include fish in my diet.) You will have to put up with some spaceyness if you want to progress spiritually. But in the end, It's all about finding balance. Good luck -
Not a teacher. Just sharing a non-word representation of emptiness for you.

I mean to say that humans experience spiritual blindspots. Not just practitioners. But masters and teachers too. Even with the best of intentions for humanityâs development, spiritual practitioners can interpret the spiritual world inaccurately. Spirituality is deeply mysterious. Many practitioners aim to understand the unfoldings. Me included. What results is that our minds are constantly forming ideas to describe what is transpiring. Sometimes we get it correct. Sometimes we donât. Event the books we read, or the bums we meet get it wrong too. To put it plainly, descriptions are rarely helpful. More times, harmful. To your spiritâs development, that is. Honestly, I canât reveal the answer. What I can share that may be helpful: protect what youâve got. Donât let your spiritual formation go down the gutter. How you do it -- well, if I tell you, I will sound like like just another bum sharing her âexpertise.â (And Iâve shared a lot since I joined this forum.) Protect your chi. Protect your mind. Protect your humanity. -

You are noticing the different chi profiles between vegetarian foods and meat. What kinds of foods are you eating when you refrain from eating meat? And how much of your diet is raw? Please give some details. -
