I listen to a lot of Bands, but since I became a Taoist, I have been listening to happier music much more than the harder stuff. I love David Bowie, Alice Cooper, and this band Devil Doll... Devil Doll is a gothic experimental rock group from italy/slovenia. They are really dark, but it is really brilliant music. I also listen to Tool, theSTART, Bob Marley, Depeche Mode, The Cure, DMX, Tupac, and as awful as these two sound, Marilyn Manson and Katy Perry. Opposite ends of the spectrum, but I love them both for some reason. haha... quite a diverse set of bands, no?

Hello all. My name is Paul Wyatt, but I generally ask people to call me Paulie... I am 16 years old and a relatively new Taoist. I actually got my first copy of the Tao Te Ching for my 16th birthday (in november). As I read through its pages, something just sort of clicked. I had considered myself agnostic for a while before I read it. IT was a strange experiance, the book has Power. Since then I have been happier, in general, and I have been nicer to people around me. I had read about the religion beforehand, and I was not interested, I read the Tao Te Ching to have a deeper understanding of the philosophy, but it made so much sense to me. It is the truest book I have ever read. I want to read Chung Tse and the Hua Hu Ching (sp?) now. Not to mention The Tao of Pooh.
