  1. See, the problem is Steve, while you have been blithely cavorting with wizards and sorcerers up in the damp Northwest other people have been actively researching. You didn't know that Kumar was very open about Feng beating him. You didn't know that Carlitos (RIP) had been repudiated as a fiction writer. You didn't know that Guro Umpad actually wrote down just before his death who represented his art. But why would you? You already are convinced of your transcendence. Why...you even have a fan club forum telling you everyday what an enlightened being you are. Remember what you said to me about....reading a book.

  3. Dealing with the duo

"oh Buddy..." oh guy with some moniker "are you really, actually pretending to not understand what I meant? It's sweet I guess..." I'm happy it was good for you, son. I never pretend to not understand. You were being oblique. "See I dont know what exactly would happen - a lot of subjectivity, many variables etc." Than why did you even bring it up? Why would you expect me to know WTF you're talking about when you don't? "but you get the general idea that power sprinting and Tai chi wouldn't gel well..." No I don't. I don't think they are incompatible at all. Do you know anything about either? "I havent done any kundalini myself, but know people that have, and the whole approach is in opposition to the kunlun approach..." So you don't know anything about Kundalini Yoga but you'll still offer some pointless comment? I did study Kundalini Yoga with Gurucharen Singh Kalsa many years ago. SO, try to stay on track. Why is there a problem with doing both?
  4. Help with Negative effects of Meditation?

Sage advice. See Gopi Krishna's first book for the horrors of untrained kundalini experience.
  5. Dealing with the duo

What would happen if a question were answered with a question? They would not be incompatible.
  6. Are you channeling me? Chan, http://youtube.com/watch?v=bc26cBkBxpM&feature=related
  7. "Also the the Yaqui sorcerer, Don Juan, used to roam the desert scanning for energized areas where other shamans had practiced during the night. " Unfortunately Don Juan is a fictional character.
  8. Dealing with the duo

What will happen if you do both?
  9. I looked at the guy you called "the real deal." I always wonder why these guys need to prove themselves with magic tricks.
  10. It will come as no shock to anyone that I feel this sort of caveat emptor is commendable.
  11. Qi transmission Video

win, "Everything requires belief. The last threshold to cross requires it." Gravity does not require belief. "Feeling and seeing what is real matters most. Real is only what we have given our mind to." With all due respect, feeling and seeing can be fooled.
  12. Happiness is....

    Best stick to books.
  13. Wutang Sword

I think he implied that the neijia styles came later. Certainly they did. Taiji, Xingyi, and Bagua were popularized in the Beijing/Tianjin area.
  14. Happiness is....

  16. Happiness is....

Every day above ground is a good day.
  17. Qi transmission Video

"Well, the placebo effect has been established for over 50 years, so there is much to see if you will allow yourself to see it. One of the criteria for new drugs/treatments is that they produce a better result that of a placebo." No, I agree completely. "An anecdotal story is that of Ram Dass giving his guru heroic doses of LSD with no results. I had not realized that you were a confirmed skeptic when I started here, or I would not have bothered. Unlike skepticism as I learned it in epistomology class, the confirmed internet skeptic cannot be moved by rational argument and no proof is sufficient." Well, I haven't seen any rational argument yet regarding this video. "As to the transmission video, if you believe in transmission from Master to devote, then there is no reason why that can't occur via video as well as in "real life". And I think if the devote has not yet met the Master physically this could still occur. My opinion only." So again, belief is required? " You stated that you would like to see it happen to you. If that is really true, why don't you go and report back on your experiences? After all, ifyou really desire the experience, or desire to prove the negation of the experince, then time & money should not be an issue. Otherwise this is all just speculation." Except that money and time ARE an issue. I've met these types of fellows, none of them have been able to move me. Shall I post more video that debunks this stuff? Would any of that convince the true believers here? I doubt it.
  18. Wutang Sword

My teacher has been working on a gigantic opus on baguazhang for several years. Perhaps one day it will come out.
  19. Virtue is...

Thank you. This it's the Rhode Island School of Design.
  20. Wutang Sword

I was under the impression Wutang had it's own indigenous martial arts, before the neijia were introduced.
  21. Virtue is...

I'll cop to curmudgeon. BTW my daughter graduated fro Pittsburgh CAPA four years ago. I'm not much for -ists but I think one should strive for wu wei and tzu ran.
  22. Wutang Sword

Check out Scott Rodell's scholarly sword site: http://forums.swordforum.com/index.php BTW let me ask you this. What does it mean on your site when it says taiji, bagua, xingyi, and baji, are "original wutang martial arts?"
  23. Wutang Sword

As I suspected, it's a different lineage. This is yours? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4...h&plindex=4
  24. Wutang Sword

Perhaps you are talking about jianshu from Wudang Shan. This is not from Wudang Shan. But General Li is perhaps the most famous swordsman in Chinese history. Perhaps you can post something you think is better.
