  1. How come we never think about - let's use the donation as a "fundings" saved up for other healings needed in the future? I mean not only have to be healed by me, but just like a "TTB Healing fund" So people who need it can register and we can open discuss to see if people can be approved for the fundings needed for any healings. Wouldn't that be better?

Or let's donate it to some charity like sick kids or something, I think it would be even help more people too.

The fundings are meant for "healing and health", so I think it would be nice to let it go back to "healings or health" areas, maybe to hospitals or and charities.

    ===============

One other thing - have you guys ever recieved these "papers" from the hospitals or charities asking if you want to donate money to them? There is always 3 boxes with different amount for you to check and if you want to donate more, you can write in the "other amount" field.

That is donations too, with set amount and an extra field saying that if you want to donate more you can do so.

My temple's method is just very much the same. Is that more clear now?

$30 - body protection FU (you now can checkmark or leave it alone, nobody force you to check it) If you want to donate more you can do so.

    What is the difference?

  2. If you are not really trianing in Taoism, how can I tell you or even explain it to you?

Taoism is massive in knowledge, crystal is part of nature, how can we miss it out?

Just use your wisdom then you will find out how to use it,

    it's all in the fundation.

    Mak,

What would be some of the Crystals found used in Daoist rituals or magic?

    Ape

  3. Very much simular, Buddhism and Taoism do have the same thing in them and they go to the same place at the end point, no difference. But in the way we cultivate, it is very different. So if you are already a buddhist with training under a master (sifu), then you are pretty well off already. Which is a very good thing! congrad!

Taoism do also have parables teachings too. Just almost the same..

    Thanks, Mak Tin Si. _/\_

Does Taoism have anything similar to the Buddhist concept of the transmutation (and ultimately, equivalence) of evil into good via alchemy? For instance:

PS. Apologies, I come from a Buddhist background and I'm trying to understand Taoism better.

EDIT: The Buddha also taught this concept in the form of parables like: http://lotus-inthe-mud.blogspot.com/2007/1...ting-demon.html

Surely with it's emphasis on alchemy, transmutation and transcendence of all dualities, Taoism also teaches something similar?

I am sorry, you may have misunderstood the "evil" in my point of view.

What is evil can be also good depending on what you think - this is true too in religious taoism. But you need to have the wisdom to turn things aruond. You cannot just go and say "oh, this guy rob the bank, he is evil but I think he is good guy" this is total nonsense right?

But if you can make good use of the situation, for example the police can then do something to arrest the robberies and put up posters etc,. to let people know that if you rob the bank, it is not good, you get to jail and lots of other punishments.. Then you reduce the crime rate, which turns this into a good thing.

Taoism is taoism, no religious or phillosophy.. what is real and make sense is taoism. Everything in the religion of Taoism can be explained, experienced and prooven to be true by yourself if you are the student. What are there to be so mythical?

Try to remember that there are different kinds of Taoism and Taoists. Religious Taoists do believe in evil but philosophical one's might not. I think most philosophical Taoist are with Shakespere who says, "Things are not good or bad, but thinking makes it so"..... or something to that effect.

  4. The 5 element luck changing method actually do not require to use any "donations". (YM don't get too sensitive here)

To understand the 5 elements first, then use it in your everyday life. This is a wisdom of taoism. If you work hard everyday it is of course good, but you are like a cow. Work hard everyday with wisdom and work effeciently, wisely is a taoist.

  5. The amount listed were just basic minimum amount. All people who request for the service here do recieve the same numbers too.

If you are the donors, you can always say "give me my money back" if you want. I did not force anybody to donate for him. Please talk to stingward if you do not like the idea. I have my way of doing things. Which cannot be changed, it is the rule of the temple here. Solidly in a building. not at home.

  6. YM - did I place a price tag on the FU here? I do not give you the donation amount unless requested. So it is not selling.

Spread the tao means to spread, if you make clothings, you can say it's fantastic and people think it is no good. You just promote it in the public, whoever like it they come along and get one. Whoever do not, just turn their head around and leave. Only those who are going to create problems will stay and comment and be nasty to the promoter?

  7. The $300 something was the given "minimum" amount of donation, you can donate more if you want. The minimum is calculated to ensure the effect does work due to karma balancing. If you are going to donate or one of the donors, I would be glad to hear from you.

The word donation in Taoism is actually an amount of money given to the temple as a support for the temple to run and help other people.

We do require people to give a specific amount of donations for each service as a "minimum" amount. If they like it, they can pay more to get more effect of course. Karma balances.

But you wouldn't heal him without the donation.

At least where I live and in my culture, if you HAVE to pay money to get something, then you're being "sold" a product. Donations are when you can get it for free, but if you appreciate it, you give some money. But you don't have to! There's a big difference.

  8. I am sorry, but I must clarify,

I did not charge for ANYTHNG for gosammer's healing. The $300 something amount is called "donation" which is for the temple and part of it goes to other charities or temple too.

Taoism never charge for anything, it's all donations. I never get anything from the donations like how healers you talked about did. Taoism temple is a place where we give help to those who needed for a very low amount which opens the door of taoism to all who suffer and need help. Yes you are right, $300 is very little, that is why I call it "donations" all the time. Not a cost. The healing is priceless.

I do not "SELL" or "CHARGE". I spread the tao.

  9. Knowing about your past lifes is very common in Taoism trianing.

In Taoism trianing, we talk about reducing karma debts all the time. Many problems in life occurs because the past. Whatever happen now is because of what happened before. Once a taoist is done with the current life karma reduction, the past life will reveals and let you deal with the karma from the past life. It's very natural and a "must" on the path.

  10. Yes, crystals can be used in Taoism, Crystals are water elements, can be used for reducing "fire" energy. Like if you have lots of hot headed people in the house, add a crystal ball at some "special" spot and empower it with a "Water element FU" then you will be able to reduce the "fire" energy in the house which can solve the problem quickly.

  11. Good luck with the tea, you can also add some "Gei Ji" some kind of red little herb you can also get from supermarket (chinese).

I am not trying to sell you anything, using FU, or any taoism methods to solve problems are my profession, I deal with people like this everyday, so that is why I always gives you suggestions with taoism solutions. No hard feelings. It's your choice.

  12. By the way, when you meditate, you are in a "opened up state" which also will somehow allow some negative energy or "things" to pass by and polluted you. That would also cause the problem you have now with the blurry eyes. So you can consider to use a "bath cleansing FU" and give yourself a nice cleansing bath to purify yourself first and try to see if the same issue happens.

  13. Not really. There are TONs of stuff in the whole ceremony, so hard teo tell in a short paragraphs. It is a huge amount of things in there, but mainly is channeling the energy from the 3 highest source of energy in Taoism and request the deities to help and bless the ancestors so that they can be free from the yin-dimension and recarnate or even give them a chance to "get obtained into taoism if they want", if they do, they can also be trianing under the deities and get a new life too! It's a great thing to do for them and also it will in return give the family members of the ancestors who are still alive the good luck, blessings and fortunes..!
