  1. Anyone that uses T-Mobile for your cell phone service; they have a promotion going on right now where if you go to paperless billing, they will plant a tree through the Arbor day foundation. Good stuff, just thought I would give people the heads up.

  2. this thread was discussing having someone banned simply because they didn't like them, can't ignore that.

No, that's simply not true. The talk about banning him came about because of his shady "business" practices and attempts at spreading fear to induce people to buy his "salvation". Try actually keeping up with what is going on

  3. Bi-polar, though emotional, can be treated successfully, with not only treatment, but meditation and constant guidance in. It would be a treatment focused towards calming down one's spirit, and controlling one's thoughts, desires and speech mannerisms.

No you wouldn't be paying 50$ a month for life. I personally believe it is curable because all sickness stems from the mind alone. And no amount of money can pay for such a "fixing". I would say, if ever a person came to me with such a condition, if after the first 2 treatments the results seem to be slow given the severity of the condition, then the price per treatment would be lowered according to their financial status because more treatment per month would be necessary to ensure good results.

I can't put a price on the fact if someone can be cured. I can say that thee time and bills utilized to use a place for the treatment must be considered. I would personally lower the treatment fee so the person can get better according to the time needed til one gets better.

There are some instances where I charge next to nothing, or nothing at all in regards to a person's financial situation. Though money maintains the place I use, a person is more important to a greater degree.

If one is trusting enough in my skills, I would utilize acupuncture for the efficiency and speed for a result, with regards to the health maintenance of the patient.

    Peace and Blessings,

    Lin

P.S.- I don't understand why it was a hard question to answer.

Oh, please don't think I was in any way trying to say you should charge for your services. That was in no way what I was trying to imply. Just my issues make for a low income so money is always tight, so I have to spend wisely.

The reason I haev been given on why it is hard to treat etc, is because I think many people are worried about definitively saying that they can help, and then no improvement is found. But, as I really don't want to get into too great of detail on a wide open forum regarding some of this, I think in the interests of prudence I shall just PM you.

  4. Very nice. Now after looking at your website, it brings to mind a question that I have, and have never gotten a decent answer for from anyone, regarding the "alternative" medicine practices. You say on your website that you can treat emotional issues. Does this also mean that you could treat Bi-Polar disorder? And if so, would this mean I would need to be coughing up $50 a month forever, or is it a "curable" sort of thing?

  5. i think it's kind of sad that anyone who has a different opinion is immediately pointed the finger and laughed at; ESPECIALLY considering this is supposed to be a "spiritual" forum where people want to heighten themselves.

if you didn't think his stuff was for you ignoring was and has always been an option, making a topic asking for someone you don't personally like to be banned is a little outrageous in my opinion.

but wait, don't make a topic about banning me too please!

edit: and for those trying to be "heroes" and attacking people under the guise of exposing frauds; please. the average age for this forum is at LEAST 25, if by that age you still cannot form your own opinions purchasing a online course should be the least of your concerns.

I think it's pretty sad for a grown man that professes to be enlightened, to refuse to refund someone money for a product that was DOA. Even worse when that grown man throws out claims that his "teaching" alone will help people survive alleged world wide disasters. Even if you go on a  Christian forum, they have a few people that believe in the televangelists, and most sit and talk about how they are full of shit. Now, on this forum, there was our own "televangelist" telling people that if his teachings didn't work for them, it was their own fault, they were "third rate". Now, I am all for people following whatever path they want; but you have to be ready to pay the piper. Would you just stand by and watch someone rob a bank, if they said they were doing it for spiritual reasons?

Oh, and your little age remark is just dumb. At any age, people can become desperate for something to fill a hole they feel inside themselves; a lot of the time it is with some kind of spirituality. If no one tries to make sure they aren't taken advantage of, aren't we all just as bad as the predator then?

  6. A Chinese guy did this before, a few months later, he posted some insane messages on a forum, and then disappeared from internet. I don't know what happened for him.

    Wow. Nice veiled threat.

You know, I just have to ask. Has this become your personal advertising spot to try and rip people off or what? You talk about you don't do charity, your family is charitable to you; how you are doing all this to buy things to save your family and friends; it's your "duty" to share the Tao with the world not just the chinese; that your course is so pricey not for the book, but for becoming one in the Matrix; that only a select few can actually connect to this Matrix. Can't you just get the hell out of here? You seriously make me want to track down where you are from and report you for fraudulent business practices. It is seriously screwed up for you to be trying to fleece people here; where people with a real interest in the Tao come. All of your own statements make you a liar and a fraud.

  7. To start, I really don't give a damn whether or not you want me in "your thread", so you can just bugger off on that. I'm not having "fun", I am just trying to point out your glaring bullshit.

You sit and say that people's greed is what makes them not "savable"

I say that I want to help as many savable people as I can, the unworthy ones are not included. As we know, just the greed of those unworthy ones result in a so bad situation, they will have to pay for their foolish greed. I am very happy the unworthy ones are turning off, and the savable ones are coming in without so much noise.

So then by your own definition, your greed should make you unsavable as well.

I need a lot of money to prepare something for the coming disasters for my family, friends as well as myself, and my courses can help the customers to survive the coming disasters, this is a win-win business, I don't think I am a self-giving saint.

Not to mention, you talk about how your internal cultivation decreases the need for food and all kinds of other things; then why the hell would you need a lot of money for surviving? You don't need much. But really, the worst part of all has already been pointed out, and you have made no real explanation. You claim spiritual awakening, and are "very happy" that the "unworthy" are going to die. That's just sad. I feel pity for you that you can revel in the death and suffering of others.

Oh and last but not least, you said that you weren't interested in teaching all, just "the worthy". So were you lying when you wrote this?

Left the internatinal Tao circle for a long time, I am back now. In these years, with great concentration, I studied the ancient Tao methods which were created by Fuxi, and got the secret of Tao now. I also lead a Tao group in China now, since I think Tao is not only for Chinese, but also for all people, for all things, and now the earthmen are confronted with big problems such as greenhouse effect, environment pollution, resource exhausted, etc., which will endanger the subsistence of all people, and these problems could not be solved by one nation, and I beleve the one and only escape of human being is in the ancient Tao thoughts, methods and technique, so, so, so... I think I am duty bound to promote the ancient Tao in the world not only for Chinese.

  8. It is lostmonk reminded me of the problem of the price, otherwise, it will be certain at $72 yet.

I hope the latest price $98 can be available for at least a few months, but if someone reminds me often of the problem of the price, perhaps the price will get to the same level as for Chinese members in a shorter time.

BTW, Xuanji School is open for everyone who truly need it, and you can leave anytime you want. It is not a rigorous controled sect, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstanding, we use the name of Great Tao Community now. And everyone who ordered our course and membership is a member of Great Tao Community, we are partners, we work together to gain super energy and information from Tao. It is not necessary to distinguish who is master and who is disciple.

As we see, those a few troublemakers on this thread are just the woolly-headed beginners, they know very little of internal cultivation actually. They use some worldly perspectives to judge something spiritual, and spread their negative emotion irresponsiblely. Actually, if they save their energy and time of making trouble to do some proper business, perhaps they have earned enough money to pay for the course and membership already.

Xuanji School has worked for the Xuanji Matrix for almost 7,000 years, if we must evaluate it by money, it is not able to be paid by anyone. Fortunately, most individuals here are rational and friendly, if it is my problem that educed those troublemakers, and their nagative words affected your emotion, I am sorry for that!

See, it has been quite civil until now, and then you had to go and make personal attacks. You said yourself that you are using the price to gauge who should and shouldn't be taught. Then you threaten to raise the price because someone calls you on your 'unorthodox' practices? You are quite right that most people here are rational and friendly. It's that rational part, that makes people wonder about the 'motivation' behind your teachings. As has been pointed out many times, by yourself as well, the only difference between what you teach, and other practices, is this 'secret' matrix. What I find most disturbing about all of this, is that the only mention I have found anywhere on the entire internet, what google crawls of it at least, of your Xuanji school, so the posts that you have made on this and a few other forums. You expect us to believe that it has remained completely hidden from everyone but its practitioners since the Stone Age? Which also means we would have to believe that noone ever learned of this system unless they became a practitioner. But let me guess, you still don't understand why people would have problems with this, we're just 'troublemakers'.

  9. Froggie, this is the exact way that most Buddhist temples are here in NYC. Pay what you can, because in all truth, the teaching of the person is the most important thing. And with all the bills I have to pay and everything else that comes with small children, I tend to give more when it is open ended.

Taumeow, I understand where you are coming from as well. I am in no way saying that I don't think that he shouldn't get money for his teaching. It's all about the way he has gone about it. It went from all courses for $49, to making a new course only teaching a small part of the 1st course, for the same price as the full courses. Then he went on to boast that he charges people in china a months food budget for the 1st course, and we are getting it cheap.

What I really don't get, and what bothers me the most; is the monumental claim that his teaching can save the entire world from 2 disasters that could wipe out over 90% of the population, as he said, and he doesnt feel an obligation as a human being to try and spread the teaching as much as possible.

So your participation is very important for all human being, for your nation, for your family and friends, and for yourself as well. For internal cultivation, 30 years is not long, time is very pressing already, hurry please if you want to save the world as well as yourself.

And only for the low low price of, now, $72!!! I keep waiting to hear Ron Popeil come out and start making a pitch. And the worst part is, this is supposedly a practice that has been hidden away from the world for 7000+ years. 5000 BC. That's like, when the oldest cave paintings they have found in the area of China were done. Extraordinary claims should be extraordinarily vetted.

  10. lostmonk, you can afford to have 3 kids and live in "one of the worlds most expensive cities" yet you can't pay $72?

It's not that I can't afford $72. But I don't just throw money out to anyone saying they have something great. especially when in their own statements, they can't make up their mind if they are in it for money or the greater good. Living in NY breeds a healthy skepticism of things that make huge claims.

  11. For Chinese students, the price to join Xuanji School is 1,500CNY, it is around 220USD now. We did offer a very preferential price for English people in the beginning. But this preferential price could not be always available, otherwise, it will be unfair to Chinese students. Now, it is the time to boost the price to be normal step by step. And from today on, the price is $98 for a licence of Wuji Standing Course and our membership.Of course, if you are a student of Xuanji School already, you need not to pay the price difference whatever how much you have paid for that. The price of the further courses is still $49 for each part, because that is for the course only, you hold the lifetime membership of us already, you need not to pay for that anymore.

Thank you lostmonk! If you hadn't reminded me of this matter, I would certainly have forgotten it. Aspirin says very good, there are a lot of free stuff on the internet, if money is a big problem for you, why not seek something free? I never impose you to order my course, lostmonk, why are you so overcritical to me?

I went into detail and showed earlier the contradictions you made in your statements. You make statements about how you are doing this because you feel duty bound to spread the Tao, that your teachings can save the world from huge disasters; but only if we pay your exorbitant price for a book that costs nothing to reproduce, and membership into a group where most of us in America have a good chance of never actually even meeting the teacher. If you can't fathom a reason for people to be sceptical from all that, then I have no idea what else to say as it seems pretty self evident.

  12. In Li Jiong's defense he never said anything like this. He simply said that he wishes to keep dishonest and suspect people out of the school. I think he wants to keep out someone who is not dedicated to practice and learning, and all they want is something free to play with until they are bored.

To be honest, $72 is really not much at all. It's less than most people might spend on gas for a week, a nice dinner out, a pair of shoes, an iPod, or a month at martial arts school. Yet it is maybe just enough to put off people who are not honestly wanting to put effort into practice.

I've found Li Jiong to be a really kind and honest guy, who is just trying to spread this cultivation practice.

    Thanks for your understanding! :D

    Peace

No understanding needed. $72 is a lot when you have 3 kids and live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. But using how much money someone has as an indicator of their willingness to learn, has all the hallmarks of a scam.

  13. Never mind, I used to be offended. It is really hard to let common people accept such a secret that they could not bear to hear.

My time is limited, I do not want to waste my time on those dishonest and suspectful ones. If one would not like to pay just $72 for such a great opportunity, I don't think he/she will be pure-hearted. If the dishonest and suspectful ones infiltrate our school, they will not improve Xuanji Matrix, but will confuse it. So that is not good for humanity.

Tao will not treat unfairly to everyone. My teacher and his top students all have a lot of money, that is a return for their work of improving Xuanji Matrix.

So the poor fall into the dishonest or suspectful category? That's ok, you have shown yourself to just be in this for the money, so I will make sure that anyone that I know that hears of this steers away. If you were just trying to screen who did and didn't get into this for the 'good' or 'bad', money would surely not be how you would gauge it.

  14. Mr. Seawater did view nature's mystery twice, and he got a same result that the earth will encounter two terrible disasters more than 30 years later. If we do nothing for that now, perhaps more than 90% population will die in the disasters that time. If more and more individuals join us to improve Xuanji Matrix as well as themselves, the disasters will be alleviative. So your participation is very important for all human being, for your nation, for your family and friends, and for yourself as well. For internal cultivation, 30 years is not long, time is very pressing already, hurry please if you want to save the world as well as yourself.

I'm sorry if you find this offensive, but do you have any idea how foolish sound? Now your claim is that your super secret school can alleviate huge disasters for humanity, and yet you charge such an exorbitant amount to teach people this cultivation. You really need to make up your mind; either you are going to teach to spread the tao for the good of humanity, or you are going to teach to make money. Trying to do the best of both worlds here like this truly makes you look like a con artist.

  15. Why snub Christianity/Judaism/Islam? There are ideas in most of the religions of the world that make sense to me. And many things don't work. To slam those religions with blanket statements like what you are making is unfortunate. I want this place to be open. You come along and say this is no place for Christianity and you stifle that openness. You really seem to be harboring a resentment. I feel it taints your arguments.

In case you have never studied those religions, they all share 1 central theme. If you are not one of us, you will burn for all eternity etc etc. Those religions slam themselves with comments like that.

  16. Wow man. You really need to do some serious study if you actually follow the bible. Matt. 18:8-9, Mark. 9:45-46, Matt. 13:42-43, Matt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10, Rev. 20:14-15, Rev. 21:8 All speak about the lake of fire, and in far from a 'mental' place. My whole point is that fear mongering in religion is a terrible thing. It just happens that the abrahamic religions are practically based on fear mongering, as that is how they keep their followers in line. Someone asks if a certain practice is safe, and you post a scripture that is threatening, and largely irrelevant. Maybe you should wait until you have done some more of your religion course before you try to do much comparative religion stuff.

  17. You might want to speak for yourself. That link goes to a quote from the Bible that is no more dogmatic than what is contained in the Buddhist's precepts or many ideas from the Tao te Ching. That quote was hardly beating anybody over the head.

A person should be able to hear about another's way and be more and more in accord with his own. At least that's what Forrest Whitaker says in Ghost Dog!

Hmmm I don't see what the problem with the quote is.

I'm not a Christian, in fact I don't adhere to any religion or system, but I do think there's a ton of wisdom in the Bible. Unfortunately there's also a ton of shit but hey it's a series of books written by people so what do you expect?

Some of the translations of the 'Tao Te Ching' are pretty rank so perhaps it all comes down to interpretation?

As for the Matthew quote above doesn't it simply mean that we are all married to ourselves in our heart?

Oh ffs. I guess I'm just going to have to break this down some. Just like another other bit of scripture, this has to be taken in context, and then it is much easier to see how it is dogmatic and a teaching written to cause grief.

27"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Looks a bit more ominous and nasty when you see the whole of the teaching, not just an isolated sentence, huh? Comparing it to the Buddhist precepts is just silly as well. The precepts are to help you get farther in your practice by doing right things. Not saying that if you do those wrong things you will burn in eternity in a lake of fire. Comparing the 2 is like apples and oranges.

And as a final thought...If we aren't to look at others in a lustful manner, wouldn't the world be a much less populated place? That lust we feel is our base instincts for procreation.

  18. in the first page of this forum you can read:

Discussion is encouraged to wander eclectically across a wide range of spiritual thought and practice, whether Buddhist, Yogic, Tantric, Judaic, Advaitic, Christian, Islamic, Shamanic, Occult, "New Age", Integral... As long as you are up for a good time, you're welcome to discuss your path.

Yes, all religions are welcome to be talked about here, but I don't think you will find a single person that comes here to be beaten about with the sin concept when they ask a personal question. As I said, if they wanted that they would go to a forum where that is commonplace.
