  1. A tecnique I learned a while ago geos like this:

Every hour (ideally) place your hands over your dantien (i forget whether its right over left or vice versa, for men one way women the other) then relax (enter qigong state) and pull back all of the energy you spent since you last did the practice. All you need to do is recall how you spent your energy and will it back to your dan tien. Then rotate it around the into your dantien and will it to stay there (seal it). And youre done. This is one form of energetic sealing and it can be quite helpful if youre prone to energy loos or if you have some big reaction to something and expend a lot of energy or emotion (energy in motion).

Some people pat themselves after meditation, they told me that energy comes to the surface after you meditate and that pating it back in place helps you to preserve it.

    Hope this helps,

  2. Hey Rex,

You ever look any deeper on that site with the Psychic Self Defense book you linked to? (http://merkez-emlak.com/hermetics/pdf/)

There are some interesting pdf files in there. Looks like serious Hermetic magic[k](?) literature. Pretty interesting, looks like its based on the kaballa stuff i've seen before, but it goes muuuuch further than anything I've seen in a new age bookstore. Are you familiar with this stuff?

an artice describing the power of thought

Nothing radical here, just nice to see some "proof" of things you feel.

Makes one realize that the world we experience is the world we "ask" for or the world that we wish to percieve. so for ron that means that everyone is sucking chemtrails. for me it means that i'm just rying to make myself and the people around me a bit happier. with more research like this maybe we can all be a bit more calm, helpful, and easy going. if people accepted the implications of this reseach the effect on our world and perhaps the universe would be profound.

  4. Howdy Ya'll

I dont frequently post but I do try to read most of what is posted.

Anyways, I was reading a link somone posted to a yoga webiste about various postures. I sit on a coushin on the floor everyday for two hours and meditate (www.dhamma.org). When I began meditation and qigong my instructor (http://www.shengzhen.org/) said to keep the left (yang) leg on top of the right (I use the 1/2 lotus posture). So, the yoga website said to switch wich leg is on top b/c it will pull your hips outta alignment if you dont. Guess what, its helped realign my whole posture!! Great stuff. Its all about balance.

Now the left leg is on top in the morning and the right in the evening. Perhaps you may find this useful.

  5. the most dangerous thing is probably the shit that was cut into the cocaine. the drug is not really that bad for you...sure it creates severe craving, but in a physical harm sense.. no big deal...unless it was cut with some bad shit...it may burn up your kidney energy and prob heart too, but you can rebuild/restore that with tcm and good qigong...

any teacher should help you, not reject you if you are on the wrong path...grace, humility, and a helping hand are halmarks of a true teacher

curezone.com should have plenty of good healing info for you, with a good forum, the teeth are the key i think....also get rid of your prescription lenses, they may be an obstruction to the physical unlocking of your body that may be hindering your spiritual progress.....

lots of other things to worry about than what you used to do...also sensation passes pay it no mind, do not try to interprit it, just experience it without craving or aversion

best of luck to you my amigo

    adios

  6. There exists two forms of moving qigong inspired by Kuan Yin one sitting and one standing. I have practiced the standing form extensively, but not lately. Stricty vipassana meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka these days. The calm achieved through vipassana made the last session of Kuan Yin standing absolutley amazing. If you are interested in learing this form see the following page.

the workshops link offers dates and locations. The practice may not enlighten you but it will teach you.

  7. vidiami,

I have had the most success with vipassana meditation. some of the HT stuff has benefitted me in the past, but none of it has provided me with the benefit of daily vipassana meditation.

movement is also important and if you cant find a good qigong or tai chi teacher in your area take up dancing, a qigong master told me that they are all the same, i have no doubts about his thoughts on the subject.

  8. thats quite a list, as you say, if some go unused they can be delted.

i think there were about new posts on the old board on a good day, over time it adds up, but for those of us who check it everyday it was kinda nice to have all the messages in one place.

meditation - discussion of sitting practices

movement - moving practiecs, kung fu, qigong, etc

realizations - "cool" shit you realized and wanna share or discuss

health - what is called medicine on the above list

    sex - duh

does "other paths" really make sense? arent we all headed to the same place? sure i may use a different technique, but does that make my expereince any different than anyone else's. maybe beliefs is a more appropriate title. perhaps it does make sense...

    Cheers,
