  1. Pietro-- I thought I would do both. I hate the idea that there is so much emphasis placed on 'proper' behavior. The concept of 'respect' shouldnt even be a matter of question, in regards to any relationship. Honestly, I feel foolish for over-contemplating any potential encounters at all whatsoever... However, I think most of what I have said is, still, generally, you know, more or less, uh, true. I think I am going to maintain an amount of pride-- and I wouldn't be surprised if I did, afterall, stick my nose up at some 'master'.
  2. yes, thankyou cat. I admire you. you are a goo dinfluence on me.. ai smcuh a fool. I will try and do better I'm just confused, and not totally sure, and there are so many assholes who claim to know better and theyre just liars and I just dont know... I have to stop worrying about them... stop worrying about all of it... just stopworrying and do tao...
  3. you know, I'mthinking the same thing. but eh
  4. Marijuana may lead to a greater capacity for far-out, abstract thought. Induced mania. increased sensitivity to all sorts of cool things. It is a psychedelic. Of course, experimentation with psychedelics should be considered of immense value. Dangerous? sure... but alchemy always has been. Hey, thank you vortex... that might make things easy, eh? =) Blasto, you are apparantly operating from a point of view that the 'ego' is an enemy. I think that in Taoist philosophy, it is as aspect of the P'o soul. (We have two souls: P'o and Hun, right?) -I do not want to give more credit to one than the other. I want both to be highly developed. That means a highly developed ego is essential to my Taoist cultivation. SO don't give me any bullshit about your so-called 'taoist psychology' points to... especially after you comment on 'greatest goods' and 'greatest evils'. what do you know about 'taoism' BAH ! idea's that the EGO should be . THE EGO SHOULD BE FREE. 'Tao subsume your ego until you are one with it' YOU ARE SO DUMB AND ARROGANT BLASTO DO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID THAT SOUNDS. WHAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE NOT ONE WITH TAO ALREADY? THE EGO IS NOT THE GATEWAY TO AWAKENING TO TAO. BLASTO YOU ARE A DUMBASS. READ YOUR STUPID BOOK ';CUTTING THROUGH SPIRITUAL MATERIALISIM. TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK AT YOURSELF AND YOUR PHILOSOPHY. It reminds me of a line I heard years ago; the corruption of the greatest good becomes the greatest evil. i want to be the fucking devil you dumbshit asshole
  5. oh my I get hot-headed. I just would never respect a man who expected me to bow. I would mock him first, his tradition second, and then maybe recite a TTC passage. =p I never really get angry or disrespectful in person. which is a shame, because it would make life entertaining... but I am not strong enough in TAO to really float like that... I would likely only politely challenge him with TTC. -I really doubt I would ever have even the opportunity to get frustrated with a genuine sage. I only have culture and tradition to hold in contempt; a man who walks the Tao, I am sure, will feel the same way. I really like this face hey, thank you pietro thank you very much..! I havent consulted the I Ching in so long... I almost forgot to bring my Alfred Huang edition ! where is it.... shen zheng you are such a fool =p shut up
  6. BULLSHIT !!! TAO IS NOT A CULTURE !! TAO IS NOT A TRADITION !! IF YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BOW ON A KNEE TO A MASTER HE IS AN ARROGANT SLOB FOOL AND YOU ARE A PISS ANT-SLOB FOOL !! I WILL MOCK ANY SO-CALLED TAOIST SAGE WHO GIVES MORE CREDIT TO TRADITION OR CULTURE THAN TAO AS A FOOL AND A LIAR ...I only use marijuana for fun, and for its experimental value. I am not expecting it to get me enlightened. I think you would be wrong to dismiss it as useless.
  7. Ahhh, thank you witch, for making explicit a point I would like to blow up-- How are so many of you sure that what you experience is not an exaggeration of the mind/imagination? If you sit in meditation 4-6 hours a day, and spend another 4-6 chanting-- surely you will develop a strong capacity for... the imagination? --however, don't get me wrong, I admire such devout spiritual practice. --But that doesn't mean that losing your mind around an 'enlightened' fellow who carries spirits and spinning vortex's... I mean... I think I would be in-the-right to be dubious. -How can we substantiate such experiences as 'genuine' ? 'objectively', if that is all possible? How can we be sure that we are not slipping into delusion? I will give example: in my meditative experience, I believe I have developed the ability to passively 'hear' the thoughts of others. It happens sometimes, beyond and out of my control. However, when I began to try and control it, to 'cultivate' it-- I believe led to quite a bit of delusion. ALOT of delusion, actually. a thick blanket of delusion. And, if we can correlate our delusions, I mean experiences, with some miscellanious text, (fuck, how do you spell 'miscellanious'....) I mean... does that... is that... really sufficient to prove anything? -mayhaps a matter of correlating delusions?
  8. Iron Shirt Chi Kung - Mantak Chia

I usually call Chia a liar, putting forth an inefficient and useless system-- --but Iron Shirt was probably the best. I would do it for hours, (really, tried to do it all day,) and I had cultivated a powerful aura, (that I could actually see.) I would 'skin-breathe' in through my skin as deep as I could, and then hold the breath and tense up-- 'condensing' the chi. I would say that it is probably one of the best chii-cultivation techniques available.
  9. What is your plan?

-Earn a doctorate in philosophy by the age of 30, This is my goal, and it is a toughy. Perhaps the most 'indirect' path of all, but I like to think long-term If you're 19, I highly suggest you establish 'worldly foundations' before you give your life away to spiritual growth.
  10. Cat-- that is described in the secret of the golden flower. may I ask you about your personal practice? -out of curiosity?
  11. 'yi' ? I only know to translate as 'change', or 'easy'. What does this mean, 'guide chi with yi'? wait, 'yi sheng' refers to a doctor, too... hmmm OH yeah -- 'ONE' =p pull out my chinese dictionary... clothing, cover; afterbirth.......doctor, dentist, medicine; TCM... cheerful ?? uhm, I wonder if I am reading this dictionary right.........
  12. ....ok. I cant get to florida anytime soon; I'm heading towards Beijing. It may be some years. ciao !
  13. Yeah, you people all insist that there are 'several ways' to enlightenment, and claim that 'no path is better than another' and all that crap and here is Winn Respected as a MASTER and yet look at how complicated his 'spiritual work' is; -and it is NOT gossip that he speaks to Atlanteans ! He is a nut-case ! Off his rocker ! HOW DARE YOU PEOPLE SAY THAT THESE ARE VALID PATHS ! Winn was probably the most dedicated aspirant to enlightenmend, and now he is insane ! You are fools to support these false ways !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Does Social Engineering Exist?

I was saving this as material for my book... but ah... I couldnt really figure out how to tie it into my premises.. so... I'll give you guys the short version: humanity is not a 'cosmic accident' -- we are the yolk of the universe. As Nietzsche said, 'man is the rope between beast and Overman'. History has been leading mankind into two correlating trends in evolution: towards global unification (NWO,) and a heightened sense of individuality. It is my belief that history is no accident-- and that what we are seeing is an unfolding destiny, in a New World Order consisting of humans who are, to a very high degree, individuals. The process is ugly, and I believe that we are probably only half way, or so, 'there'. ...But humanity has a destiny, that has been preached about by some major religions. The significance of this destiny is essential to cosmological evolution, (we are essential to the 'purpose' of the universe,) and I think we would be fools to say that there wasn't something greater developing out of humanity. Honestly, I think often to compare it to the buddhist concept, that the cosmos is headed towards a universal 'enlightenment'... or the christian, by which all souls migrate to heaven. I hate corporate-consumerism-- but I understand its significance as bringing us a step closer to the New World Order. I used to be anarchist, verging on violent militantism. After the prior realization, I learned to have faith, not in humanity, but in reality in general. I am sure it has saved my life.
  15. I think that's a good thing, that you beginning to figure this sort of thing out. After practicing fusion of the five elements for some time, healing sounds, etc... I figured the approach either fake, or so inefficient that it was worthless. I went on to other things-- however I threw Winn out with Chia. PS is Winn still talking to aliens from atlantis ? plebelebeebeellbe
  16. Dealing with Your Demons

Thank you, vajradingdong that sounds just so absolutely magical . ( <----- that's you this time ! )
  17. Does Social Engineering Exist?

Of course social engineering exists. Sociologists rule the world. For example, Obama was manufactured president; the US is taking a century to conquer and 'modernize' (if you dig it, 'modernize',) the middle east. The New World Order is Manifest Destiny. Unlike most folk, however... I have more faith in the NWO than I do in freedom-mongerers, and 'the people'.
  18. How can you possibly imagine, markern, that I would be at all interested in your pop-buddhist reading suggestions? you are so dumb ! Santiago-- if you cannot speak wisdom, how could I possibly be interested in seeing you in person? Would you want to impress me with your amazing qi? Phore-- am I really dogmatic...? I prefer to use the term to designate right and wrong from moral standpoints... not concerning genuine cultivation... ???
  19. Dealing with Your Demons

Interesting ! I would, also, call the existence of 'demons' as a manifestation of 'Karma'. Going back to the concept of dissolution presented by Pietro... the idea that typical mind-body living accumulates experiences that have the capacity to 'fix' themselves into the spiritual body, ('knots'.) THIS is karma, in my opinion. The interesting thing, is that it is only YOU who designates Karma as such. For example, if you were to murder someone in cold blood, the experience may etch itself into your spiritual body/psyche and cause alot of harm. However, if you committed such murder without conscience-- without subjecting the self to a fantasized dogma-- then such would never manifest itself as karma. This is a good lesson I learn myself-- that living without dogma means living without karma, and that the two perpetuate each-other. I learn that no matter what happens in my typical living experience, I should never blame myself, (perhaps 'learn', but never 'blame',) I should never feel guilty, no matter what the act... I should never allow myself to be wrapped up into any sort of karmic cycle, (typical for the normal mind-body experience...) And, really... the idea of past lives is ridiculous... there is no need to associate accrued karma to 'past lives'...
  20. Dealing with Your Demons

Oh-- I understood the metyaphor, and dig it. (I dont like the idea of responding to a thread without reading it's conent.) -And I think my assertions stand, still In my opinion, anyways. many systems encourage one to embrace, deal, or otherwise place some sort of misguided significance in dealing with psychological issues. I think that such is unnecesessary-- and one even runs the risk of 'empowering' one's demons, but giving them any attention at all. Overcome the psychology, (ie what isl called 'buddha-nature', I call the 'light' or 'primal spirit',) and oneovercomes any intricate details of that psychology that would otherwise cause greater harm. I guess this is a more 'direct enlightenment', or even 'zen' kind of approach to the 'problem'.
  21. Dealing with Your Demons

I dont have demons-- and niether do you. If you think you do-- forget about them. if you cultivate the primal spirit, you will soon find your identity shifting away from your body and mind, where the illusion of demons exists. whatever you do dont pay 'them' any attention; simply cultivate the light. (or maybe this is exactly why i am such a meany !)
  22. everseeking-- lets have a contest: first one to enlightenment, WINS! -we'll keep up with eachother on the board; let me know what you think of confidence, 'love', happiness and smiles-- if you ever even manage to arouse your kundalini. PS at least I dont turn myself into a fool AND hypocrite-- I dont have standards of behavior to conform to. From the sounds of it, you do-- Vajrasattva-- that's a loser response, dude. Maybe I'd be wasting my time, taking a trip out to florida to see you and your master? reading a book a day, you should be competent enough to articulate a reasonable reply to a reasonable inquiry onto an internet forum. Magitek-- Yeah, this penguin classic translation is definately my favorite, too. You know--- it warms my heart. I dont mean to imply that people should listen to me-- but that anyone should pick up an increased interest in the Tao te Ching is just cool. Its not me I want people to see, but just rather the texts that I am bringing into conversation. I hope you learn as much from the text as I have, man. it changed my life. PS vajrasattva, everseeking: you both fail. ! edited by Modertor. Insults
  23. Anyone know about taoist 'masters' in or near beijing? Particularly those who, ah, are 'specialized' (...) in the tao te ching, or maybe secret of the golden flower, or maybe Complete Reality school, (or really, whatever-- whatever you may know, I'd like to hear...) for example, anyone have any experience with white cloud temple?
  24. I thought that 'buddha' had never actually written anything. probably for a reason. ...edited profane insult...Moderator
