It's funny, I hadn't read the boards in abotu a month, I look on here and one of the first threads is something I found on my own a few weeks ago. I've listened to most of Ori's podcasts and bought 2 of his books, I'm not strict on the diet but I follow the principles about undereating in the morning and day and overeating at night. So far my energy levels have been high the whole day. I recommend

What do I need to look for and learn in order to clear the energy in the first and second chakras and the scaring energetically?

Are there any physical benefits of the catheter alone? Does it help with staying power or anything? I may have some problems because of catheters that hospitals used before may have causes scaring or inflammation wondering if this could help clear the pipe?

I was wondering if I could borrow or buy an extra copy of this book. I've already purchased it but it was lost at the post office and Lulu refuses to send something else. I'm very interested in the subject but I can't bring myself to buy another one from that company. They have tracking info and they know its been at the mailing location since June 3 but it's just policy that they cant send out another one because I didnt pay extra for "tracking" on shipping. Willing to purchase from someone if they have it. I was very enthusiastic about learning this practice until I've hit this roadblock. PM me if you would like..

Has anyone had any trouble with this company? Is there another way to get the book than through them? I purchased the book on May 26 it arrived at my post office on June 3 but was lost at the post office. 2 weeks later Lulu responds that they warned me against using a non tracking option. UPS media mail and I could feel free to order again but they wouldn't send me another book. Thing is.....there USPS Media does have tracking info which shows its lost at the post office. Is there another way to get this book other than this company? Does anyone want to sell me there copy. I'm really interested in the book but can't justify purchasing this book again when they so plainly aren't doing the right thing. Any ideas?

Depends on what you call "science." If you mean the fodder we've been offered by our educational system as the only legitimate way to have a human experience, then the answer is no. If you mean everything people learned about our world in order to survive and thrive in it the prior one million years or so, before the current education system was invented (about 150 years ago), then the answer is yes. In all shamanic traditions (which existed for hundreds of thousands of years before having been dismantled by our current overlords), direct transmissions were not "one of the ways" but the ONLY way to get knowledge beyond everyday practicalities. What was transmitted was a state of being in the knowledge, and such transmissions turned one into "one who knows" (a term used in all cultures, whether African or Siberian, to describe a recipient of a transmission).

 

So... no, no science available from institutionalized sources today has room for something like this, since its meta-goal has nothing to do with turning anyone into "one who knows." Its meta-goal, and its main accomplishment to date, is to promote obedience, to have people believe in, and be satisfied with, the kind of human experience made available by the powerful regardless of what this experience is reduced to. And to comply with absolutely everything dispensed from higher up the hierarchical ladder regardless of the shape and form it is offered in. No science that serves any other purpose is taking place.

 

"One who knows" would surely object to his or her human experience being molested this way, and would certainly have absolutely nothing to prove to this kind of science.

Not really skeptical about this but curious. So lets say a breathing exercise was passed down by transmission. Did the master even have to tell the pupil the exercise or did he just know? Or was the transmisson a passing of energy not specific instructions.

I just started reading The Way of Power by Chuen. It talks about transmissons. I also hear about that alot in other Eastern systems. Is there any science to back this? Is it the skills that are transfered or the just the energy? There is still verbal teaching of what needs to be done?

I recently recieved this brand new DVD documentary of a man from Bali and his Shaking practice. The DVD was just created to get the guys name out there I believe. Found out about him from a post here at Tao Bums. I'm willing to lend this out for abotu 2 weeks at at time. Nothing actual practice here just a good documentary about the guy. Wanting to trade lend seeing as I'm new to this site and these type of practices and there's so much I want to learn

Not sure what anal weight lifting is but on the advice of Plato I got an Aneros and my prostate issues are doing alot better.

I've been on this board for awhile, reading about all of the practices here and I'm a little overwhelmed. I found this board through a friend and am looking mainly for physical mental and emotional health. Ive looked into at least 50 practices so far but don't know where to start. Can I get some input on where each of you started and what you would recommend as the best practice to start with.

The subject of the difference between Chi and Reiki was touched on by Rama at the seminar I went too. He knows its value and acknowledges it. He prefers Reiki because its easier, with Chi you have to do breathing to build it up yourself and some feel tired after a treatment. Reiki energy comes from an inexhaustable source and a giving a treatment is easy and even energizes the giver because the energy is flowing through you.

Honestly not very good at reviews but I'm willing to answer any questions about it. I also know that the DVD of the Bodywork session is coming out in June as far as I know.

I actually went to the Reiki Tummo 1 and 2 seminar less than a month ago with Rama. In my opinion it's legit and I did get alot out of it intially. Haven't really put it to use much seeing as I attended Nityama's seminar the following weekend and had very different but still very different but still very positive experience.

I've been lurking here at TaoBums since I first learned about it from Tao Famous Plato. Weird path that got me here in a very short amount of time from my prostate problems I found his book we corresponded I went to the now famous Nityama seminar met Plato there and now onto here. I've always been interested in this type of stuff when I was younger but now Its good finding people that practice what i used to dream about....
