  1. I don't know the answer to that question. I've pondered that for quite a while and I'm very conflicted.

    I think it's paradoxical.

In the beginning, there is a sense of not being good enough and needing to improve. That's the natural tendency of the mind - to want to become something other than it is already. As the practice deepens there may come a time when we see that there is no separation between self and other, between human and environment. Dao is what it is and manifests as it does. Who is the self that desires to improve and what is it improving? Both are already Dao and already perfect.

How can "I" improve Dao? How can "I" improve what I already am? And yet if I didn't start down that path of self-improvement would I ever have an insight into that? So when I get to that point practice seems useless and the struggle arises - why practice?

I have no answers, just lots of questions. But I do still practice.... and it feels like the right thing to do.

    But improving upon self?

Stay with that question, ffvii - it's much more valuable to you than our answers...

I really appreciate the fact that you are asking such excellent questions on this forum

I like one that's questions. Of cause the tao is the Tao and it is all that there is. Truth you are Tao! And allso you are right it the fact that the paradox in ones own illusion of the word improvement allows the confusion and questions to torment ones own being. But this duality of ones being all aries from the function on ones guest ( ego. ) This mechanism of brain matter murders the oneness of the Tao. Mind the host of the spirit and of all things, aids in the wisdom of the Tao to unfold allowing awareness the insight and understanding of impovement. Change and transfromation is improvement of oneness own merging into the oneness of the tao. Slicing and diceing into smaller and smaller components. Which of cause aids in the illusional and the delusional aspects of the question at hand is the work of the guest. This is not reality of the Tao. Just a isolation of a component that makes up that makes up the Tao. So you could say that this is a natural outcome of ones own evlolution of the soul when the wild beast of the ego is tamed. Then one can say yes improvement is the way. The guest needs to understand in order to to merge and be at one. To be effortless and natural in its function. Outcome is spontaneous and free. The way of no-mind. Hahaha really there's no such thing as improvement! Hahahahaha!!!

  2. Do Taoists seek to improve upon self?

Hahaha yes!!! Taoist impove them selfs by merging with the way. The improvement is the natural outcome. The outcome is the function beyond the self. The great way Tao is selfless. Being selfless, it comes and goes as too its need. Knowing it's place the guest is respectful to its host. Hahahahaha!!

  3. Enlightenment is just enlightenment.

There is no half, full or quarter. The human potential lies in the experience of all that there is. No religion or conceptual idea can take hold of it.

Living and dying arrive form the same source and end in the same source. The manifestation of this experience is the Tao.

No need to waste brain matter on what is right and wrong this is the function of the guest.

    Enlightenment is none of this.

Enlightenment........... there is no such thing.

  5. Well naturally this is the way of Tao and universality. But the recipe is not complete and the division of the cultures around the world clearly show that the human race is far from achieving this on it own accord.

But help can be on its way only if you humans want it because you certainly do need it.

  6. One will try its best to share the experience.

The present moment can be found in time and timelessness. In the transition of the awareness detaching from the functions of the organism therefore memory stops and timelessness begins the present moment can still be found. When reattaching of the awareness begins the organisms memory cells reactivate creating the illusion of what feels like a small amount of time of two minutes to the skin bag is actually three hours out of the skin bags physical time, even then the present moment of timelessness has no time and the awareness can still be present. In the void, all is void.

In time and in timelessness awareness is still awareness, guest or host there still is awareness.

    Life or death.

  7. Nice summery Z3N!

I think my head just exploded! *BOOM!

    I was wondering something;

I had a strange dream last night that I realised all selfish desires are an illusion. Then I went into some sort of void..

I don't think it was the real deal idk, but it scared the beejeebers out of me..

I felt really lonely, it was desilate and extreamly quite (Zero sound)..

I woke up after I realised I was dreaming and as I was coming back to reality I heard this strange static noise...

    Maybe it was real? :S

Experience is real. But the function of the senses aid in the illusion once perceived by your nature of perception.

This is where madness can set in.

Unable to discern black from white.

  8. Yes agree with this last statement. Btw, all the females I have met who are emotional vampires had a hungry ghost living in their homes, and they acknowledge their existence and some sort of relationship with them. if hungry ghosts are quite widespread and feared in Asia because of their associated misfortune and disaster, it is not hard to imagine that there would be other entities overlapping our astral plane.

Dragons, fairies, unicorns, etc. are other sentient beings perceived and "seen" by mystics and meditators during their altered states of consciousness or when their third eyes are fully open while living in secluded mountainous areas. I remember reading a similar experience in Chronicles of Tao.

Hey! I really like this guy.

  9. Reptilians, demons or whatever they are in common speech are actually a every weak force in there nature. They exist in the a another dimension therefore made up of more energy than mass hence our inability to see them. The reason why they have so much control over the human mind is because the function of the self is actually the reptilian hemispheres, ego, impulses and etc. Common people are not spiritually realized and are easy targets and so they feed form this weakness draining our life force. So it is in there best interest to keep the way of our sickly society unchanged .

So keep evolving your frontal lobes and spirituality and they do not stand a chance.

  10. The Lion Sleeps No More rawr!

Ok I'm sure many have come across Icke and reptilians, seeing as there are threads about them. But what do you make of his latest conclusion? I shall Link his latest book (unreleased at this time) HERE

But quote the parts of more interest to me below:

"His most staggering revelation is that the Earth and the collective human mind is manipulated from the Moon, which, he says, is not a heavenly body, but an artificial construct a gigantic spacecraft (probably a hollowed-out 'planetoid') which is home to the extraterrestrial group that has been manipulating humanity for aeons.

He describes what he calls the Moon Matrix, a fake reality broadcast from the Moon which is decoded by the human body/mind in much the same way as portrayed in the Matrix movie trilogy. The Moon Matrix has hacked into the human body-computer system, he says, and it is feeding us a manipulated sense of self and the world 24/7."

So..... well... I can't say I buy it, sounds pretty whack. So whats your take on this? Anything or anyone you know that can back-up this claim?

(reptilians are also welcome to share what they know )

Ha! Moon matrix ha! Society does this to the mind and controls the common into how we act and think on this globe. There are fellow friends stationed up there, guardians if you like for what is about to unfold in a latter date.

Sounds like someone got stoned and watched way to much T.V. soon it will be a religion. ha ha hah!

  11. I find it a amazing how you humans all dwell in your little brain box of low capacity flinging mud at each other. I mean in the reality of the Tao there is no such thing as religion. Religion is the product of the self so it is just a concept of the mind therefore a illusion of the thought process. Thoughts are the limited capacity of self not the reality of awareness, how can the self perceive such great insight into the cosmological Tao?

Awareness is the unlimited capacity and the mind of Tao this has nothing to do with self nor your brain box or religion for that matter.
