  1. Actual purpose of the dantian?

Everyone has their own opinions as to what the purpose of the dantian is, or if it even exists. What is your opinion of the dantian? If you can back up your claims with reliable data, even better! I’ll go first though, in my opinion, it’s main purpose is to store excess qi. It’s secondary purpose is to provide one with vitality, that can be accessed in times of individual want or subconscious need. Side note* This thread is only intended to start light-hearted conversation, that we all may be able to learn from. Let’s keep things on a positive note.
  2. Actual purpose of the dantian?

Just listened to this podcast. Found it to be quite interesting.

I feel you bro, think I’m going to take my leave to.

Your body generates bio electricity and is plugged into what to do so?? According to my understanding, a few things that we do or consume help to generate bio electricity, such as eating food, breathing air, moving around or exercising etc. In fact, I can even hold the probes of a voltmeter, that I so happen to use to measure the voltage of my car battery and it’ll even measure the amount of voltage, that’s present on the surface of my hands or fingers. Did they at least invite him out to have some tea, before asking to probe his brain, X-ray him and dissect every fiber of his being? If not, how rude. In all seriousness though, demonstrating these things is the last thought on their mind. They’re looking to utilize their time and energy wisely, by mostly focusing on treating people. I’m not patting anyone down with a metal detector, but you can buy an infrared camera and send it to me. I’ll use it to record the footage for you. Also Rudi has already mentioned he’s open to being tested in private. I won’t add anymore to that. The rest is up to you.

Right and getting hit by lightning doesn’t prove that lightning exists, or grabbing an active electric fence, doesn’t prove that electricity is existing within the wire that was grabbed, or sticking a metal fork in a socket doesn’t prove…you see where I’m going with this… I never claimed to be a credible source of anything. I actually recommend that you investigate these things yourself, not from the comfort of your home though. I decided to play in the sports game and take the shot, watching from the sidelines and guessing/assuming what the truth of reality is, wasn’t good enough for me. Become your own credible source, then report back to everyone on your findings, if you’re bold enough.

We aren’t invited to these medical seminars just for the purpose of them “demonstrating they can electrocute people.” We go to correct our conditions and most leave in better health than they came. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that. If you want them to walk through a metal detector, while you film them with an infrared camera, rent or purchase a metal detector for them to walk through and bring your own infrared camera. They aren’t there to prove a point to anyone, it’s a thought that most likely doesn’t even pass through their mind. We’re allowed to film them, I have lots of footage that I personally recorded, so you can book a trip, bring a camera of your choosing and record the whole ordeal. It’s nothing to go back and forth about. Most of the time they’re treating us in hotels anyway, if you can transport and station a metal detector for them to walk through, as silly as it may look, kudos to you. Or just bring a handheld one to save yourself some face… In all honesty though, the John Chang (Pak John) videos were good enough for me. The observers had him strip down to his underwear and still felt the need to pat him down with a metal detector, while he was in his underwear, then brought him to another location of their choosing and still at least one of them refused to believe, the powerful energy that they were all objectively experiencing, being emitted by him at will. Hmm, maybe there’s just something that those experts didn’t understand about that neidan practitioner and his practice, that many of you are also unable to understand?

Brother, you speak as if I’m speaking from delusion. You’re using the word imagine, as if it’s not you who’s imagining/assuming things. I flew across the world and I know what I witnessed during that trip. Take the shot or stay on the sidelines. Your assumptions made from the comfort of your home, aren’t valid in any way possible. But of course you’ll continue to assume you’re right, because “people without a critical faculty won’t listen anyhow.”

I’ve never seen or heard about a single doctor that asked for any money to feel qi. Your view of things is misconstrued. You can easily go to the Sufi healer, who @Pak_Satriopreviously mentioned that he visited, for super cheap ($50?). Most of you are stuck on trying to contemplate if qi can be subjectively or objectively experienced, while the rest of us just visited these doctors, with the intentions of correcting our conditions and to help improve our practice. My specific condition was corrected and I even documented the process. Money well spent. Being able to feel their highly condensed qi was just a bonus. A lot of you are very disrespectful in this group. Please don’t sully this thread any further… Armchair spiritualists in this group, for years, have been running off the ones who have actual experience and knowledge, when it comes to these matters and it’s easy to see why. Belittling, on top of insults, on top of arrogance etc etc. All the negative psychological qualities that a human could have, condensed into one forum. Either take the shot or stay on the sidelines. It won’t affect those who directly experience these things, in any way, shape or form. Most of us just pop in to shine light on things, not argue with anyone about things that they have no clue about.

When I mentioned taking the shot, what I meant was, to go experience qi from a doctor who’s verified to be able to emit it. Take the shot and feel their qi. Most here seemed to be concerned if qi is real or not, this is the quickest way to find out. Side benefit of taking the shot and scoring, the doctor will be able to help out who is in bad health.

I agree with your theory of not taking the risk. “A shot not taken, is a shot that’s missed.” At some point, one has to attempt to directly experience things, or else closure will remain a faraway dream.

    Hi fellow Neigong practitioners

I agree with everything stated in your post. I’d also like to add something about the costs that many don’t consider. Depending on what lineage/school you have access to, you might have to receive treatment, prior to being allowed to practice their method. Such as was the case with Master Jiang Feng, 100% of the visitors who went to him expecting to learn, had to first be confirmed to have clear channels/meridians and more than 90% of them would have to receive treatment in order to attain that basic state of health. Not including the costs of flights, taxis, hotels, food etc. (which alone exceeds what one would pay to learn from Rudi for at least 4+ years), the costs of the treatments would easily range from $10,000 to $30,000+ depending on the condition of the individual. Although I used to follow the dates of when Master Jiang’s medical seminars would be during 2014-16, I just couldn’t comfortably afford it. With Rudi, it’s not a necessity to have ones channels cleared with these expensive, but worthwhile treatments, prior to learning our Neigong and we also have a practice that helps to gently work through any possible blockages. Best of all though, he teaches remotely, so we’re saving lots of money, not having to make quarterly or yearly visits to China. With that being said, if one can afford a treatment, it’s well worth it. I was finally able to attend a much cheaper medical seminar in January of this year. The experience was life changing for my health and it greatly opened my mind to the possibilities of how qi can be utilized medically.

By the way, I just want to give you your flowers for helping to put the Dragon Gate Sanctuary practice out there. I used to follow the both of your posts many years ago (2011 or 12?). DGS helped to keep my interest up enough to continue seeking out respectable Neigong/neidan practices. @Trunk @zerostao big s/o to the teacups

No worries. Better to get it off of your chest sooner than later.

I see qigong as the art of moving one’s qi, Neigong as the art of storing qi and working with one’s stored qi. For the most part, most goals seem to be dependent on the school and the individual practitioner.
  16. Rudi Authentic Neigong

Humans have a dantian, which is able to store and release qi/zhenqi. This sounds like an exact reiteration of what happened with John Chang.
  17. Rudi Authentic Neigong

He has a greater purpose than just being able to faqi. 🙌🏾 So do the other doctors that we meet, who’d probably rather live in secrecy.
  18. Rudi Authentic Neigong

I’m not trying to assure anyone of anything, I simply stated my objective experience. You’re open to believe whatever you want. There’s a thin line between new information and useless information. I’m ignoring the useless information… If you want to prove your hypnosis theories on me, I’m open to it. If you feel or know you’re unable to though, we should turn our attentions elsewhere, because this counter-argument is fruitless. I’d rather us throw water on a plant that needs it, than throw water in a river, which doesn’t need it. Let’s feed the convo, instead of feed the ego.

Brother, Maddie gave a great example of the word objective. We should all have a basic understanding of certain words and how they’re used. I’m not going to sit here and explain the meanings of specific words, that’s not why I’m here. If I put my hand on a hot stove, I’ll know it. If you put your hand on a hot stove, you’ll know it. If a child puts their hand on a hot stove, they’ll know it. If one of the parties doesn’t feel anything, it can be said that something may be wrong with them, such as being unable to feel sensation. Hope this helps.

Honestly, these counter-arguments some in this thread continue to bring up, hold no weight and are besides the point. I just wanted to state that I’ve been to a medical seminar, I witnessed people experiencing qi for their first time and I experienced it also, this continued for 5 days straight while our specific conditions were being treated. What I felt and what the other participants felt was the same. If you meet these doctors, what you feel will be the same also. It’s not worth racking one’s brain over… A simple example, I (a healthy human being) put my hand in a fire and another healthy human being puts their hand in the same fire, we’ll objectively feel the same heat. It seems that many here are trying to counter-argue that all the participants of these trips are hypnotized by non-English speaking doctors and the fire (qi) that we felt never existed…
  22. Rudi Authentic Neigong

No. Are you suggesting the dozen or so people that were in the room with me receiving treatment, or the hundreds, if not thousands that join these medical seminars, also need to have tried hypnosis beforehand, so as to be able to compare the effects of the two procedures? And if none of us did, it invalidates our objective experiences?
  23. Rudi Authentic Neigong

I’m the guy being interviewed in this video. I can vouch on the authenticity of the treatment techniques (TCM diagnostic methods, faqi and the use of very effective herbs) that are objectively witnessed during these medical seminars. I can assure you, when you experience qi for the first time, as I did, mere suggestion would never cause one’s relaxed limbs to involuntarily contract, as is experienced when receiving faqi.
