yup. Dark subjects are as much a part of life. In life we All have some wild tales to tell! It's all in the learning, just part of, sometimes, hmm. Though You are serious the subject does also bring out folks "bathroom humor". My own included... but it doesn't take much for this child. You know with the work you do, as do most who have a practice of meditation, at least to some extent, That when doing such a practice one gets much more sensitive to various things. The senses grow sharper, one gets more aware in many ways. To be sensitive to the effects of such things is no stranger than feeling the effects of sun or moon light. Or ones own breath, chi, or anything else. That one can experience effects for a prolonged period of time isn't strange either. "Karma" is a prolonged effect. It has a cause and is an effect. Now this is a way of life for many. Once certain things happen in life there is no going back, so to say, LOL. For folks that you meet that haven't gotten all that into stuff though, Mak Tin Si? What in a persons right mind would make them actually WANT to go down this crazy arssed path??? Why would folks want to end up feeling the effects of stepping in poo? Granted there are alot of good things but "bad" is equal to it and can really suck pretty bad. Ignorance is bliss. I do think it's true! Why would a sane individual want to walk such a path??? Many cultures have "spirit jars". To me (this way) it is a very sad and hurtful practice. Haven't heard of using a live child, though can "see" it happening, usually there are restrictions of what is followed... stuff like a first born-stillborn of a mother. Buried then unburied. Burnt and collected...with Ceremony/prayer/what-all. Within time frames like before the next sunrise or a certain phase of the moon. Usually one person has "care" of this child and "raises" them. provides "food", "clothes", "nourishment", "LOVE"/"parental stuff". The child is devoted to the parent for better or worse. Like an abused child still loves their mom or dad. Often times fear is involved in many ways on many levels. This is one of those things that has passed into popular culture that folks don't know the roots of. Or if they do they would never believe that such a thing can still happen. Perspectives of right and wrong are easily confused. Perspectives can change, or be changed easily. With that there is danger though often not seen till after the fact. (Fact is not perspective.) To bind another with or against there will is wrong (to me). If They are free to choose, and the choice remains free, there is alot of "grey area" . That "baby ghost" often remains. One person may raise it but when they are gone what happens? It often changes hands, often falling into hands that don't care. That are neglectful, "punishing", harmfully disrespectful. If a child that's been abused and is treated bad suddenly retaliates what happens? Plaese if any are so inclined, don't get involved with this sort of stuff, eventually it only leads to harm. This is a very sad and hurtful practice all around though if you ask me. And yes. it is real. and practiced still. sorry to speak of it. Poo! As great a taoist topic as any! ... It's one of my biggest annoyments (if that's a word?! hmm? it's not is it?) Plastic baggies of doo swinging from tree branches. Where I live you must pick up after you dog. They even have plastic bag dispensers around the parks and stuff for easy usage? Most folks seem to comply with it? ...But they never seem to dispose of it adequately. They leave these plastic baggies of dung everyplace. Nasty. By the sidwalks, under benches, thrown in the swamps. Now I can understand? Nothing says sexy like a man swinging a little baggie of poo as he walks along??? But do they have to throw it in the trees!!! GRRRR. Such a crock of Shit. It's biodegradable. Why encase it in plastic??? At least use paper!!! So many more uses for it then, hahahaa,like puttin it on a neighbors door step... lighting it on... ringing the door bell... acquiring a whole lot more bad karma... LOL. um? By the way... Don't do that! but like I was saying would rather see it get washed away by the rain than swinging from trees. There should be signs "Please handle your shit appropriately!" Don't You think? poop ='s bad luck? ... Have 2 older brothers... When we were all younger they started a "tradition" of sorts? We had 3 BIG dogs... One boy was thin and scrappy and fast, the other was big and strong and a Marine... and the older brother. Whenever we would all get together they inevitably would play a game of "Put U! In Poo!". One of those "boy games" to see who was better and who just plain stank ? LOL, Horrid. And embarrassing at times? It was usually the scrappy little thing that bested the big brother! And yes It was always Very Bad Luck for the smelly boy ... They never would try such a thing with there little sis. They knew for sure not only would she fill there pockets and pillow cases but there cars and shoes when they weren't looking! She was a quiet child but was well able to take care of herself Have fun! Mmmm Do love this book. Had it long before any copy of the "Tao Te Ching". It climbed trees with me and was fished out of the oceans, battered and tattered into an unreadable state. Finely lost to the _ods of the Woods someplace along the Way. I've since gotten another copy and it's been better preserved ... so far? I love the simplistic artwork in it. The pictures calm well this frazzled soul! Do Like this book. but I also believe that all great works are "ripped off" or should be! What better sign of Greatness? How else could these works live on. some might like to disagree about that but they may need to learn to sing folk songs? LOL! Peace Shonton Ga ... it makes me happy, hence the colored writing!

Had bookmarked this to get a better look at it as time allows. A very timely post, for this child, liked the opening page and the info on it. Was working on some stuff to do with sequences(in the body) and alignments and this gave me some stuff to think about and question in what I was working with, cool. Have been working on doing a few moves as a loop or a sequence(form) for about a half hour or so a day but it hadn't been feeling "connected" in some places, this gave me a different view point to examine. Will probably have much more to say as I get more time to check the site out better. Don't know this system at all but the principles are still tai chi it looks like? Not sure what problems folks would have with it if they are there? (LOL, Of Coarse, My Style-Teacher-kin-of-shoe-is-better-fluff always seems to come up with folks but that's just fluff! Not worth squat. That's not what we learn from usually so no worries!) have you trained in this style? Thanks for the link! ... interesting timing. Stay well, shon
