  1. Sorry, sometimes I'm to stupid for the technical things
  2. Well...sice that was, I've become stronger, but I'm "waiting" for the next layer when it begins to float again Could be that therefore I have to practice more, but with an 8 to 5 Job, a son and a partnership with a woman, there are only 2 hours the day for practicing... But I changed some weeks ago a bit of my practice... Doing now less form and daoyin exercises but longer standing in wuji and also san ti shi...and it seems to work. Sometimes the system needs a new input. Best wishes Feng69
  3. That seems to be the same I had few years ago when practicing the taiji form I've learned. I also felt like getting big arms, legs, and torso from the inside out. And in the arms and legs it felt like a huge load of warm water which was pumped through the arms and legs...a few weeks later, that all stopped...and than in the following weeks, it happened something very interesting ...after standing in wuji posture for preparing the taiji form, "it" made the taiji form with me. Without doing anything "I" did the complete form. the form simply happened without any muscular effort. I only had the small intent to practice the form. That's all. Can't describe it in a better way. My teacher said it is a good process because now the chi would lead my body doing the form... But also this phenomenon stopped... It seems to be an endless process of developing... Best wishes Feng69
  4. 8 Brocades

In my opinion the main aspect is to bring the body in a good shape. Not the outer muscles but the connective tissues and the sinews etc. And that could be a good precondition for cultivation. But I think there are better exercises for opening the doors within the body and connecting the different tissues. Exercises with much slower movement than the brocades. Best wishes Feng69
  5. Ah OK, thank you for mentioning that. My statement was nothing against Mr Mitchell. Sorry if it seemed like that. Only wanted to say that this free course is the step after building the dantien. I like the videos of Damo Mitchell. Best wishes
  6. On the one hand it's generously to offer a free mco course...on the other hand it's useless until one has not built the dantien in the right way. And these exercises are not included in the course and I don't know any person who will give these exercises for free. So, first step is building the dantien with the proper tools and 2. step is the mco...as I am informed. Best wishes
  7. Hello Shanmugam very interesting what you write in your posts. I don't know your (spiritual etc) background (perhaps there is more on your YouTube channel but I haven't watched it yet) but what would be interesting for me is: Was it only a shift in consciousness or has your body also shifted in a way? Did you only practice "techniques" that changed your mind or did you at the same time also practice "techniques" which changed the body over the years. A change from closeness to openness, from tightness to release from hard muscles to soft tissue etc? In my opinion, as I learned, it's best to do both...mind changing and body changing methods. Because if we only practice one of these parts, something will be missing on the personal path, as I see it. Best wishes Feng69
  8. Hello all (and sorry for my bad english) As I know there are different steps of that what is often called enlightement (from some daoist point of view) First "you" have to awaken, to realize what "you" really are. Not only for a short time but for constant time. And therefore it needs also work with your body, not only mental work. After that there comes the step of stepping out of the wheel of incarnation... After that it comes immortality... That's what me was told. But I'm far far away from own experience. I only have sometimes a glimpse of the first step, the awakening...I've got a long road to go, with many further incarnations... :-) Best wishes Feng69
  9. 8 Brocades

Hello dmattwads, I practiced them for some years, and sometimes I still do them. When practicing, beside the correct movement combined with the breathing, in my opinion, it's very important to practice them with the feeling that the muscles hang off the bones because then the muscles and the connective tissue have a nice "hanging" stretch throughout the whole exercise. That's where the internal aspect rises, in my opinion. Best wishes
  10. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Yes I thought that you thought this In Europe we drink also Caipi and such things Best wishes Feng69
  11. Hello everyone, I never was the one who drank much alcohol. During the last 15 years I had only 3 or 4 times the year a drink, for example on a birthday. And the more I practice the internal arts, the less alcohol I want to drink. And here comes the point. Since a few months (I have increased my practice to 2 hours per day, sometimes 3) , I am not able to drink only a bit of alcohol at all. After a half glass of wine or bear my stomach is aching and it feels like the stomach crunches (hope that is the right word). I realized that two times this year, when I was at a birthday. My teacher says it could be normal because the body becomes more sensible, but he is not sure that pain in stomach is normal when trying alcohol. I'm complete healthy, only when trying a drink, this pain is coming. Has anyone else practicing the arts, had similar experience? Best wishes and sorry for my rather bad English.
  12. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Hello Desmonddf, thank you for your reply No, I'm not from Brazil, I am an European. During the last days, I have eaten many warm meals with different kinds of meat, it was sometimes beef, sometimes pork and a bit of chicken and I have eaten less chocolate (I know, industrial sugar is bad, but sometimes in the evening, lying with my beloved wife in the living room and talking or reading, we love to eat some chocolate. So I won't let it completely, but I'll eat less of it). Thing is, since eating more meat and less sugar, heartburn has gone completely. So I was curious and testes a glass of wine yesterday evening...and nothing happened. No pain, no heartburn, nothing at all. I will watch it further, but I think, the problem has dissolved. So thank you all very much for your very kind comments! Thank you very much. Best wishes Feng69
  13. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Thank you for your answer. I looked at my family and many of them including myself had and still have heartburn when eating or drinking the "wrong" things. And I tested other drinks with alcohol. The pain inside the stomach comes only when drinking red whine or cold beer (or sometimes black coffee). When I drink for example a small glass of whiskey or a Caipirinha, there is no pain in the stomach. And there are absolutely no other symptoms for lymphoma. I think I'm healthy and have only some problems with to much acid in the stomach. Thank you again for the answer. That was very kind. And sorry for my bad English. Best wishes
  14. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

I see it like you do in that post. I always listen to my body and I've been living very good with it. I'm 51 and still in a good shape and my jing level feels still quite high (because of the external and internal practice and probably because of my preheaven ingredients imho). So I am a really lucky man and hope I can practice for the next 50 years.
  15. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

    Can't see your answer.?
  16. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Great answer! Thank you very much!
  17. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Thank you John! Like I said, normally I'm absolute healthy. So first step is, to drink no alc at all. That's fine.for me. I drank it only at birthdays etc, never at home or alone. So, no problem to stop it completely. Best wishes
  18. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Thank you Sea Turtle. Stomach fire is possible. I drink no coffee at all because than I get reflux and a bit of heartburn and I don't like the taste of coffee. So normally there are absolutely NO problems with my stomach. Only when trying alcohol or coffee. Wine and bear doesn't make difference. Same kind of pain. And yes, I'm sweating quite easy when practicing kicks etc. But no read face or very read tongue. I was vegetarian for the last 5 years and began eating meat 6 months ago. But it makes no problem. I felt, that my body needed it, because it became to weak when I trained much. So, with meat it's much better. I can practice 2 or three hours the day and it makes me stronger. So I think it's OK letting go of alcohol completely. Because normally I am really healthy. No problems at all Thank you very much for your helpful answer. Best wishes Feng69
  19. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

Thank you for answering. Don't know if it's my approach, but it is an interesting one.
  20. Stomach pain when trying alcohol

You are absolutely right. Like I said, I never drank much. But since that stomach aching, I stopped it completely. My question is, if there are other practitioners experienced the same and why it is that way. So, thank you for your answer. It is helpful.
  21. Thank you freeform for your reply. Didn't know that there are such pills sold in asia...interesting but also dangerous. One of my teachers in the past told me, if practicing longer sitting and standing sessions for a longer period of time it could help to supplement cordyceps. But if one don't practice intensively, one should abandon it. Sounds a bit similar to what you wrote.
  22. Strange sensation in upper dan tien

Hello Daniel, I'm not free-form, but let me write a little comment. If there is no stretching routine you have learned, try it with this for example. I think, this is a good one. https://youtu.be/iW0_U1O3ynQ Best wishes.
