I live in a country that is mostly harmless and also quite beautiful. I teach first year maths. I sometimes teach second year syntax and acoustic (socio)phonetics. I teach ESL and in May this year am going to teach English in Japan.
I run a lot and cycle a lot and do yoga a lot (I'm a yoga stereotype except I don't have a tattoo, Lululemon, or a rich husband, see below). Sometimes I go to gymnastics competitions and help with judging (MAG).
Used to go to church a lot and now don't. I do zazen and kinhin instead.
Been married twice, for around ten years each time, and am on good terms with both my ex-husbands. In an astonishing evolutionary leap I've realised I don't actually need to marry everyone I sleep with. Possibly connected with no longer going to church. I also immensely enjoy being single so that wasn't a plug. I'm almost certainly older and taller than you. And fitter
God and I are on a break.
I read the Tao Te Ching and Patañjali and Chögyam Trungpa, and lots of journal papers about everything because of the glorious privilege of access to a university library's electronic resources.
Yes, I've read Spiritual Materialism
I've just started learning Baguazhang. I'm three weeks in and can't walk in a circle without looking like a Thunderbird.
My intention for the year is to know less (TTC 48).
That sums up the key points.
