  1. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@freeform Muscle boy wasn't willing to do the work! By hacking mean that we have better data collection and analytical potential now than in the past. We do not need to depend on masters and lineages. We can test what works and what doesn't. A lot of us just have beliefs around what is the superior war to learn. I prefer 'good' information which is hard to judge, so I settle with what I respond well to, and then just giving it a go. I know so dangerous some might say, but my running belief is that the horror cases that ppl speak about as a warning are far and few between the cases of mild or little results. There seems to be a lot of fear mongering, and I think it results from public groups where a lot of ppl with delusional expectations jump into these practices and fry themselves far more than more 'stable' types of people. I remember being on a forum a few years ago for SFQ and there was always the super chi monster guys who were having these scary results, more than likely primed by their expectation and on psychological make up. I do agree with you and Grey that knocking loose some of our unconscious bits can be a bit dangerous both in 'energetic' practices and even mindfulness. That is the danger of having things being made available to the public, the risk is worth it, similar to how gun ownership is 'mostly' worth it in the US. Freedom is a dangerous thing, becoming more than who we currently are, or if you are an essentialist becoming who we really are, also, is probably not without its own risks. People should choose their own risk tolerance.
  2. Internal Practices From Thailand & Indonesia

That was in 2018! My plans changed and now I'm not traveling anywhere for a loooooooooong time.
  3. Hungry All The Time -- Restarted KAP Practices

I'm more 100% plant-based than an ethical vegan. So, it is more about the health advantages that i have found than ethics. I want to add bovine liver pills and mussel based pills because they pad my micronutrient shortcomings better than plant alternatives do. I'm sure my ethical vegan friends will be upset that I'm taking 2 pills derived from animals, but too bad!
  4. I've restarted KAP practices after a long layoff. Things are going exceptionally well and for the most part I feel great/alive. The only odd thing is that I am hungry ALL THE TIME. I've never had this happen in the past working with KAP and other programs/ideas. Is this a common occurrence?
  5. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

That isn't completely true, we create neural networks for things we are not consciously aware of if we habitually experience their gravity in our life. I prefer a less fatalistic Jungian approach or Edwinger approach to dealing with shadow and subconscious and integrating them. The life that you have lived also plays a large role with the shadow and subconscious, shadow actually doesn't represent the sea of negativity that ppl assume. Just the unconscious and unlived life, the material of our filters that we are not aware of unfolding to the surface. It is when such things constellate without awareness that we are in a rear naked choke hold by it.

@gatito I think they experience overload because they don't spin enough time with grounding techniques and reversing the flow. It is mostly along one circuit path. I have a hunch with their "deep meditation" that most end up 'placing' the mantra in the head and overcharge an already upper center collection of practices, then take that on top of the self-pacing which is okay, but ppl would be better served by balancing the 'energy' they build. With that said, I actually like AYP (politics and deficiencies aside) it is(was) one of the only open source systems that got results for me.
  7. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@freeform I'm sorry but I put zero faith or superiority in 'path' or lineage. Why? Because we are dealing with subjective phenomena, most whose practices has been hidden, and most people attribute amazing qualities to "path" and "lineage" without direct experience of that practices peak experience. I don't care if an Asian who lived amongst monks for 50 years final decides after 1000 years of secrecy the techniques can now be shared to the west and the rest of the world. I don't care if a westerner creates "a system of stuff" that works. I only care if it works... I never started any of this with the find a master mindset, and I won't begin. I'm too old for that. I think that mindset is for ppl who grew up on martial arts films and anime. The magical east with their unbroken and hidden lineages. The human body is the human body, and we should be hacking this stuff as much as we can to figure out what gets us the results that we want vs assuming that these lineages have the right recipe. I will argue that the west has done more for taking meditation off of magical mountains, brining it into the universities, into therapy models like mindfulness CBT with data to back up its effectiveness than any lineage holder has done.
  8. Only Comfortable With Paid Lessons

@thelerner Most likely so. I like sticking to things I've 'paid' for an have 'earned'', in some ways I can see how that extends into both negative and positive outcomes in my life.
  9. Seems like a disappointing path to run to the east and not find what you presume is waiting for you.
  10. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@ralis Was she really forced into retirement? To be honest, the whole possession thing just sounds superstitious to me. If anything, I would rather take a Jungian approach to integrating all the parts of my psyche and handling the devils within and without.
  11. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@Earl Grey With neuroplasticity and the habitual entrainment of specific mental/emotional states, it might be a quality safe guard from negative outcomes for the psyche.
  12. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@Earl Grey I will argue that working with the secret smile would give some protection against damage to the psyche. I believe that there's a lot of priming in 'this world' when it comes to expectations, warnings and probably not enough modeling of 'best practices' then we have the overly mythical priming as well, and I think all of this is what leads to many of the unwanted outcomes that people face.
  13. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@Earl Grey I'm only doing spinal breathing, MCO, a bit of KAP practices (5 point breathing, secret smile, their version of tree shaking) and the closing and main grounding technique from FiveElementTao's Celestial Neigong (he doesn't like the idea of mixing either.) Although, I've wanted to meet Jenny Lamb for years, I don't think I would pay her 10,000 for a clearing if I had such issues!
  14. Hungry All The Time -- Restarted KAP Practices

@freeform You over delivered. Thanks. You reminded me that I need to look into growing spirulina because it is something i've been told to add to my diet by so many people. I'm actually am thinking about venturing slightly off the vegan path and use a grass fed/grass prepared bovine liver pill and perhaps a green lip mussel derived omega 3/DHE/EPA supplements. In general, I want to bulletproof my nutrition and those are 2 compromises i'm willing to make.
  15. Spinal Breathing Gives Kundalini Awakening

@Earl Grey Why is it said that mixing Fire and Water path techniques is dangerous? I've read about that briefly a few times, and my natural line of logic is always that the the grounding water techniques could counter act the upward emphasis of fire path techniques. Is it an issue of too much energy? When it comes to trance states and entity attack, do you think clearing and banishing practices could be a failsafe?
  16. Hungry All The Time -- Restarted KAP Practices

I don't eat animals! But I hear you on cleaner heavier plants. Ive been trying to eating cleaner with a few bad days thrown in. Mostly legumes, nuts, string beans, broccoli florets, zucchini, cucumber and mushrooms.
  17. Tien Tao Chi kung

I have the PDF of the lessons, and I don't think it is worth it. I find it a bit sprawling and some of the exercises wasteful. They wait until the 12 month 36th lesson to teach MCO. I supposed they needed to collect $30/month and keep ya waiting back in the 80s? I did like a lot of it, but it could have been taught in one go.
  18. Hungry All The Time -- Restarted KAP Practices

Yeah. I've been super thirsty and hungry the last week. Interestingly, my lung pain from seasonal allergies has stopped and I feel light and vibrant.
  19. Hungry All The Time -- Restarted KAP Practices

Yeah that is what I think. I've been doing a lot of practice and for an extended amount of time.
  20. Joe Dispenza

Indeed! When I was visiting his FB or better yet the 28 day challenge group for his teachings, I was always telling people to ground. Most start with his breathing exercise, then pineal meditation, and that is all taking the energy up but not brining it down and circulating it. Recipe for trouble, especially for those who's introduction to such techniques are only him. He doesn't really seem to teach any grounding techniques.
  21. Joe Dispenza

I post updates in that group every few months. I'm on of the ppl who has extended the challenge well past the 28 days. I am not sure if many ppl in the FB group have had full on kundalini integration, I think many had various kundalini awakenings. His breathing technique, at least the base one is similar to spinal breathing. I've had good experience using some of his ideas with what I've learned from yogic, Taoist, western tradition, hypnosis, nlp and my own made up stuff. My only kundalini awakenings have been from spinal breathing while driving on a trip, doing spinal breathing between breaks while working, and oddly the most powerful one where my spine felt like a strong current don't swim electric ocean during a dream. I get plenty of jolty jolty sensation whenever I do any kind of mental, emotional or energetic practice--- but the electric spine ocean feel for me seems to be elusive to only a few experiences each year-- probably because I constantly quit and restart practice several times a year. It also sucks always feeling like i'm on the edge of something great happening, but then just another ordinary jolty jolty blissful experience but nothing to really write about. I'm a bit grateful because my practice really does help me in life, but I want MORE. Basically, I'm a brat. I just spent 2 hours practicing and I feel great, full of positive blissful energy and a positive attitude, but still dissatisfied. I would love to do a regression type therapy and jump into the submodalities of those past experiences-- I try to do that and I have good sensations, but not as good as the ones I'm trying to replicate.

  23. Can We Evoke/Invoke Our Dantian(s)?

Here's another book that I've read that is similar to the above concept.
